Will iMovies work with Motion 5?

I am getting more and more into film, abandoned buildings are getting crazier the more I go through them. I want to share my videos on YouTube but I would like to have an introduction on the videos, will iMovies work with Motion 5?

I'm not sure how integrated you want them to be, but you can export your Motion project to use as the intro for your iMovie.
Motion 5: Share to iMovie, GarageBand, and other Apple applications
Share a Motion project to iMovie
Choose Share > Export Movie (or press Command-E).
Choose an export format from the Export pop-up menu.
This menu provides a list of codecs.
Choose None from the “Open with” pop-up menu.
Choose an option from the Include pop-up menu.
If you’ve set In and Out points in the Timeline, use the Duration pop-up menu to choose whether to export the entire sequence or the portion between the In and Out points.
Click Next.
Enter a name and location for the exported file, then click Save.
Motion renders and saves your movie, which can now be imported into an iMovie project using the File menu. For more information, see iMovie Help.

That's correct. I don;t believe you need a compression program to do what you want. I had to look up the export options for the new iMovie because my versions are older. There is a File choice in the Share menu which gives you a custom settings option. From that a you can adjust the bitrate to your requirements for the Web. For example, a preset that I use often is 720p # 8 bits per second.

I really appreciate all your help. Today I spent some time on the problem. First I purchased any video converter from the ap store and then I connected the camera to the mac with the original usb cable that came with the camera. I turned on the camera and selected backup on pc and the logo came up on my home page. I opened it and after several attempts i found the 3 video files that were on the camera. I then converted them from a tod file to mp4 and then transfered them to imovie. Now I have to figure out how to send the video to youtube or move it to an external hard drive which I have not been able to do. So far I am not too fond of imovie 11. If you could send me the download for imovie 6 I then could try that route. When talking to apple support yesterday about the problem they suggested to get Final Cut Express. You may need many other updates to retain compatibility with Lion. I suggest you reinstall Snow Leopard. Unfortunately, you will need to erase the drive first. Be sure to backup your data if you haven't done so already.
Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it.
     1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
         with your computer. Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
         After the chime press and hold down the "C" key. Release the key when you see
         a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
     2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
         button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
         After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
         size.) Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. Set the number of
         partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
         and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended
         (Journaled, if supported), then click on the Apply button.
     3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed
         with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
     4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup

Get a Virtual Macine software program, Parallels, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox, and install XP in a virtual machine.
You can't install XP in a Boot Camp Partition with Lion or Mt Lion, only Win 7.

You cannot merge two separate libraries across user accounts. Photos does not have the function of merging different Photos.library files. If you have Aperture then you can merge the two before migrating over to Photos.

Ive got the same problem, just got my iphone unlocked, and they told me to sync it to itunes to get it permently unlocked, well everytime i plug my iphone in it says; it wont work as it needs up dating to 10.6.3, which i have already updated, but still doesnt work, so how can i get my phone unlocked?

HDX 9010nr, Radeon 2600 will not work with WIndows 7

Apparently, HP is not going to support the HDX 9010nr for Windows 7. That's the bad news, the good news is that it "mostly" works.
The only big issue is that the display driver stops every few minutes and then restarts. So you sit there for thirty seconds while the machine recovers. But, it doesn’t support a second screen; and worse, every 10th time the video driver crashes; it locks up the whole machine.
ATI has a version of the Radeon 2600 software that worked with the Release Candidate (RC) of Windows 7, but it will not work with the shipped version of Windows 7. ATI recommends that you get a version from your hardware vendor. Which brings me back to the first sentence. HP isn't supporting the 9010nr.
The question is do any of the "supported" HP laptops have the ATI Radeon 2600? If so, might that work on the HDX 9010nr?
