Will IOS 8 be compatible with iPad 3?

Hello users!
I have an iPad 4, but my friend has iPad 3. He really wants IOS 8
So, as the title says, will iPad 3 be compatible?

We think so, especially since the iPad 2 is compatible and the 3 has better specs than the 2.
What we think the confusion stems from is how the name changed from New iPad to Retina iPad etc.
The current train of thought is that 'iPad Retina' incompasses the 3 and the 4

    Facebook videos are still working for me in the Facebook App (using iOS 7.0.6).
    Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
    Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
    Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
    No data will be lost.

    As with all previous iOS versions, iOS 8 will be for iPads, iPhones, and iPod touches, but not for computers. If you mean Mac OS X 10.10, the system requirements aren't publicly available at this time.

    I liked the idea of this app so I went looking for it and have now installed it on my Mac, iPhone and finally my iPad.
    This app, although it will run on the iPad is actually an iPhone/iPod app, as suggested above. So the only way to get it on my iPad was to search for it as an iPhone app in the App Store app on my iPad. Then it came up as an app that I could install on the iPad.

    You should check the website of the specific vendor and, if the question is not specifically addressed, you should pose the question.

    Is Draw compatible with iPad 3th gen? I can install the app and open it,  but not use it. I have reinstalled Draw, installed iOS 8.3, closed all other apps and restarted the iPad with no result.

    It should work just fine.  The requirement is iOS 7.0 minimum.
    Does the app launch?
    Can you log in with your CreativeCloud ID?
    Can you create a screenshot of the last part that works?
    I would suggest: uninstall it, then reinstall it.  Sometimes apps on my iPad don't finish installing completely - reinstalling from the App store solves the problem.

    If you mean apps that you bought from the iTunes app store for your iOS device, no they are not compatible with the Mac.

    Sorry but iOS 7 can't run on an 4th gen iPod touch.
    iOS 7 needs atleast 512 MB of RAM.
    The 4G iPod has only 256 MB. That's just enough for iOS 6.
    If you bring in your 4th gen iPod to an Apple Store for recycling, you will get 10% off a new 5th gen iPod that will run iOS 7.

    Kindle books work fine with the Kindle app on the iPad.
    Yes, most ebooks will work on the iPad through one app or another (iBooks, Kindle, nook and others).

    Yes, unfortunately apple did get rid of picture frame with ios7 and a lot of people are complaining about it. Pretty annoying cos I like to use my iPad to display photos. Now we have to rely on third party apps.

    In the photo the connector looks the same, BUT in the "Compatibility" section it only lists iPad 1 & 2.
    Other accessories have listing in "compatibility" section for iPad 1, 2,& 3, I thought this might be incompatible as iPad 3 isn't listed.
    I don't have a problem with the cable I have { I don't think I do, anyhow }  I am wanting to have the extra cable in my Lounge room and one in Bedroom.

    Windowd 8 would be compatible with U310. Just hope that till you buy all the drivers would get released. I may not be correct about this but rest is upto you.

    You can sync apps through iTunes, as a backup. You can't run those apps on your Mac, though.

    The earphones are compatible. They both have an industry standard 3.5mm jack. For a new iPad you may have to push hard to completely insert the plug.
