Will iPad 2 magnets and cover magnets demagnetize credit cards in carrier?
I have a purse with a padded laptop compartment. How careful must I be to protect my credit cards from the iPad magnets and cover magnets? Some say you need very strong magnets to demagnetize cards. But what of cards left in close proximity overnight or for hours during the day? Surely Apple has actually tested this phenomenon and knows for sure. What is the evidence-based recommendation about protecting credit cards?

I did Google Credit cards and magnets and came up with this link to CreditCards.com which has a video on how to intentionally remove the magnetic information from your card. She was able to ruin a credit card by swiping a small magnet over her card. From watching this video, it seems entirely possible that carrying my iPad2 with cover in my purse could unintentionally repeatedly swipe past the magnetic strip on credit cards and ruin them.

I'm sorry, but there is nothing that I can do to help you with this situation. I don't know why, but many people have problems when they try to buy gems in the Clash of Clans game. Personally, I wouldn't touch the game with a ten foot pole, but that's just my opinion.

1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)
2. Go to App Store and select a free app
3. Tap INSTALL APP
4. Create New Apple ID
5. Confirm Your Country
6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID

While anything is possible if you had enough money... NOPE, you can't change the CPUs to Intel, nor can you get any faster PPC upgrades for it. It'd be far cheaper to buy a new IntelMac than to replace everything inside the G5, and I mean just about everything, then figure out how to machine the case & such to mount Intel Logic Board, Graphic Card & such.

To my knowledge your CC infomation is not on the iPod but on an Apple server. To make a blank iPod I would g to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings
If you restore you iPod to factory defaults/new iPod via iTunes, your iPod willbe signed into the account that iTunes is signed into. -

When you change the credit card details (and possibly your name and address) then you will be charged a small temporary holding charge to check that card details are valid and that the card is active - it should disappear off your account within a few days (though with the weekend coming up it might take an extra day or two)

Further to the other points, what you might want to do is
- first, make sure your daughter does not know your password, and change it if you suspect she does;
- second, turn off in-app purchases, and set your iPhone/iPad to require a password on every purchase. See this article:
