Will iPad mini be available in Walmart stores November 2nd?

Apple says the iPad mini will be available in its retail stores November 2nd. Does that mean it will be available in all stores that sell Apple products then as well? (Specifically Walmart, as that's what's closest to me.) (Also, I'm assuming Walmart will be selling iPad minis since they sell iPads, right?)

I'm the owner of an Apple webblog and I called many Walmart stores around the United Sates to find that they all will be selling the iPad Mini starting 12:00 AM tonight. A few stores mentioned they didn't have much stock, meaning 2 of each configuration (16GB, 32GB, and 64GB - white and black).
Due to hurricane Sandy, a few stores along the east coast don't have any stock. For more information, view the page below.

    The Apple store shows them shipping in 1 week for quite a while now. How is it that Best Buy has none of these for a long time now? I mean they are a retailer of Apple Products Right?
    I think I will just sell my gift card and be done with them. It will much less of a headache to just buy from Apple.

    I have purchased a iPad mini online from the Apple store. Since day one I had 2 issues with it. First is that the battery life doesn't last more than 5-6h active usage, and the second one is with the wi-fi. It works properly but after I leave it for a while in sleep mode and try to reuse it, it doesn't want to open a web page or app store or mail (anything connected with the internet search) but it shows that is properly connected with my home network. So I have to turn off the wi-fi connection and turn it on again so it start to work properly. After couple off days this becomed very annoying so I contacted the support via phone and they gave me instructions for return it and that I'll receive a new one without aditional fee. I get the second device in the predicted time but again I have the same issues with the wi-fi and battery life. I will be pleased if someone from the Apple expert team explaine to me what should I do, because I dont find it for normal what is happening. On the Apple official site under the specifications for iPad mini it says that the battery lasts for at least 10h and the wi-fi problem isn't mentioned anywhere. Thanks in advance.

    If you want someone from Apple to explain what you should do make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one near you and take your iPad there and talk to Apple.     It depends on what country you are in.
    They are available in a few countries.  Check the www.apple.com online store website to see.
    ... and its name is "iPad Mini with Retina Display", not iPad Mini 2.

    Well I truly love your products. The iPad mini experience e is quite disatisfactory.
    When I pinch and zoom to read books- black screen appears until I reset it to original size.
    And when I pinch and zoom pages on safari, trasnistion is not smooth at all. It appears like the page is refreshing frame by frame
    To close apps or pages on safari tab. I have to tap twice or thrice, yet it doesn't until I press it for two to three sec
    In AppStore sometimes the search bar is missing.
    iPad mini was bot on 19dec  for my birthday on 20th, n in a days time I have these complains.

    Yes it will work anywhere, assuming the mobile provider network is compatible. No you don't have to inform AT&T but if you sign up for monthly service with AT&T, it is best to terminate the subscription before taking the device out of the country.
