Will ipad2 work with 4g verizon network

Will ipad2 work on 4g verizon network

The iPad is not a 4G device, so no, strictly speaking, it will not. It will connect to Verizon, assuming of course that you purchase the Verizon version of iPad, but it will connect using their CDMA "3G" network.
Regards.

if i bought an iphone from New York, will it work with a moroccan network?

If it is locked, yes you will have to unlock it to use with a Moroccan
wireless network. Only the wireless provider to which an iPhone
    is locked can unlock it.
If you can get that far, what does it say when you look at Settings+>
    General=>About=>Carrier?

  • Will appletv work with my Verizon 3G hotspot?

I would like to buy AppleTv to watch Netflix from my Mac laptop, but want to know if it will work with my Verizon 3G Hotspot.......?  Anyone know the answer to this?

The TC can join a wireless network.. it is not the recommended method as it will turn off the ethernet ports, and the only access is via wireless but it does work. Mostly!!

  • Can the Ipad2 work with any cellular network?..Celtel Tanzania?

The Ipad2+wiFi+3g from the Apple store are configured for AT&T or Verizon...If I buy this on line for the store, can I then reconfigure for any celluar network or does that men its locked and tied to these networks only?...I need to use it in the US, UK, Europe, Tanzania and Kenya.

The iPad 2 is not locked to any carrier.  In the US, you can buy an iPad with an AT&T sim card, or a Verizon model without a sim card.  The AT&T model can be used with any GSM carrier's 3G micro sim.  The Verizon can only be used on a CDMA network.

  • Will the iphone 5 work with the 4G network in Belgium?

I am very happy with the iPhone 5, love it, but today the Belgian Operator made the 4G network available in some major cities,
but it seems Apple has to "enable" the 4G capabilities for the iPhones in Belgium...
I bought mine directly through the Apple store.  I wonder will it work with the 4G network here ? Anyone using it in 4G mode here in Belgium?
Also if someone at Apple reads this (I hope they do) Siri in Dutch would be super!!! I love Siri but now I have to talk very strange to make
Dutch names understandable for Siri :-)
    kind regards to all

"4G" is a marketing term, not a technical term.
The iPhone 5 can operate on any compatible HSPA+ network anywhere in the world. HSPA+ is defined by the ITU as "4G" and is marketed as such by many carriers. The only iPhones I'm aware of that display "4G" in the status bar are those originally intended for AT&T in the U.S.
LTE is also defined as "4G" and is marketed as such by pretty much every carrier that has an LTE network. When connected to an LTE network, "LTE" should appear in the status bar.
The frequencies used for LTE networks vary from region to region across the globe. In order to use an available LTE network, the phone you're using must have been sold to work in your region.
Apple doesn't have to "enable" anything for it to work. All you need is a phone that's compatible with your network, and a plan that allows for LTE data.
If you purchased the phone from another region, the U.S. for example, it will NOT work on the LTE netwok in your part of the world.

  •  Will an unlocked iPhone 5 work on the Verizon network?

Will an unlocked iPhone 5 work on the Verizon network? I know this question is probably premature, I don't think apple has mentioned anything about it yet, but I saw that past unlocked iPhones (4 and 4S) would not work on Verizon. I'm a Verizon customer and I want to keep my unlimited data plan, the only way to do this is buy a iPhone at retail, but from what I saw regarding the 4 and 4S I may not be able to do this. I did read that the iPhone 4S is being made in three distinctive models, 1 with a CDMA network and 2 others with varied GSM - LTE networks. I'm hoping this means that an unlocked iPhone 5S can now run on the Verizon network. Any ideas if I'm correct? Thanks.

Honestly I'm not convinced to jump to sprint so quickly. I am monitoring my data as it is, I'm a heavy data user as I watch a lot of movies from Netflix Hulu plus crackle etc. the flip side of this is that I do most of this on my iPad, which I have currently unlimited data on, so I can still get by without unlimited data on my cell, it's more of me not wanting to lose what I have. But thanks for all the info. I'm secretly hoping that apple has redone the unlocked iPhones but I wont lose any sleep over wishful thinking. I'm just quite anal I guess lol. Thanks again

  • If i purchase the ipad2 with wifi will it work with aircard?

Trying to figure out the best way to get service anywhere on my iPad2 or laptop.

What do you mean by "aircard". If you mean a device that plugs into a USB port, not, an iPad will not work with it. "MiFi" or personal hotspot devices work very well, and, depending on your carrier, you can get ones that also run on 4G, thus giving you a faster connection than a 3G iPad would support. They can also be used by mulitple devices at once.
If you have a phone such as an iPhone or Android device and your carrier supports it, you can also use your phone as a personal hotspot device. Contact your carrier for pricing.

  • HT201274 Can a Sprint Iphone 5 work with T-mobile network? How can one unlock with the MSL code? Sprint is not abiding by the Unlocking Consumer Choice and Wireless Competition Act.  FCC will only enforce if we file more complains.

T-Mobile is a GSM network whereas Sprint is a CDMA network. They are incompatible. Sprint is not obliged to unlock a phone that is still under contract. Their phones may not be capable of being unlocked.

  • I can't believe the greatest phone in the world doesn't work with all wireless networks? Is this a sick joke????

I must have the iphone..... Will anything work with t-mobile???

If you must have the iPhone in the USA, your choices are AT&T or Verizon.  T-Mobile has a great selection of phones, but not the iPhone.
Last March, an agreement was announced under which AT&T will acquire T-Mobile USA. That won't happen for at least 12 months.  Here is a FAQ about that:  http://newsroom.t-mobile.com/articles/more-information-att-acquires-tmobile

  • HT4623 I have purchased a Epson Workforce 435, can't AirPrint, will this work with the first gen iPad?

I have purchased a Epson Workforce 435, can't AirPrint, will this work with the first gen iPad?

Also i forgot to add after a night of searching how to turn the Epson Workforce 435 printer into Airprint friendly and not iPrint (which are 2 completely different things) i donwloaded a program called (AirPrint Activator) from HandyPrint. The link is below to download the software. Once i installed the application i set my printer to be shared over my Home Network (Wi-Fi Network). Once you have done that, open the AirPrint Activator application you have just downloaded, swtich it ON from OFF mode, and then you should easily see your printer name in my case EPSON Workforce 435 and then just close the application. Then go to your IOS Device like your iphone/ipad/ipod touch select a picture that you want to test print or even an attached PDF from your email, and select Print in the share button. You will then be prompted to select your printer. Your printer you automatically be recongised then just select print. And now you have a complete AirPrint ready printer with a Printer that doesnt even support the function. Im sure you can do this to all Wireless Printers, even if they came out before Apple AirPrint service launch.
And also if you still need guidance and a video to follow from just click the Youtube link below
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9r75m_VUr0E
    Download AirPrint Activator Link

I hope that this helps your question and enjoy your day

Thanks a lot for your response, how do i delete this file?
The file is on your PC. Open Windows Explorer and select Find, then choose to find vendor.xml on the C: disk. click on it, then hit the Delete key on your PC keyboard.
The search box on top-right of this page is your true friend, and the public Knowledge Base too:

  • Time Machine will NOT work with Airport Disks!

It looks like Time Machine will not work with Airport Disks after all. All references to Airport have been removed from the Time Machine page:
    http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/timemachine.html
It also specifically says: "You can designate just about any HFS+ formatted FireWire or USB drive connected to a Mac as a Time Machine backup drive. Time Machine can also back up to another Mac running Leopard with Personal File Sharing, Leopard Server, or Xsan storage devices."
Surely, they would have included the Airport Extreme Base Station in this list if it was supported.
I really hope there will be another firmware update for the AEBS which will bring compatibility with Time Machine, because Time Machine was the only reason for me to buy an AEBS. (I only use it as a small backup server, I don't even have wireless networking enabled. There were other solutions, e.g. from Synology, which are faster and more reliable than AEBS disk sharing, but Synology stated their network drives would not be compatible with Time Machine.)

Here's how you can potentially use your AirDisk with TimeMachine (beware that YMMV), but it should work as it works with every other "unsupported" device.
    1) Mount your AirDisk so it appears on your Mac
    2) Open Terminal.app
    3) change directories to the AirDisk's root folder located in "/Volumes"
    ie: cd "/Volumes/AirDisk Name"
    4) execute this command to "bless" the drive to be used with time machine:
    touch .com.apple.timemachine.supported
    5) Start TimeMachine and if all went well, it should recognize your AirDisk drive and use it for TM.
This should also work on NFS shares, SMB shares, AFP shares, basically anything. It has worked up until the last developer seed, so unless they yanked this at the last minute, it should still work.
Now, the reason why Apple removed this feature may be due to the unreliability of the AirDisk, so be cautious.
