Will iPhone 3g work w/ USB 1.0?

I have an 800mhz iMac 17" flat panel w/ USB 1.0. Am I able to sync w/out USB 2.0?
Thanks.
-Don!

Syncing should work with USB 1.1, but data transfer will be slower and not without potential problems from time to time since USB 1.1 is not supported.

I have a 3g now and it said it required usb 2.0 but it works fine with 1.1 just a little slow. Will iphone 4 work with my usb 1.1, everything else updated ie itunes?

    No,
You need USB 2.0 ports. Per Apples website:
    Windows system requirements
    * PC with USB 2.0 port
    * Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
    * iTunes 9.2 or later (free download from www.itunes.com/download)
    * iTunes Store account
    * Internet access

Will iphone 4s work in cancun, mexico?

GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications), is a standard for digital cellular networks used by mobile phones all around the world, including Mexico. Contact your cell provider to see if they have coverage in that area or if you can unlock your phone to use a different provider in Mexico.

  • Will iphone apps work on ipad

will iphone apps work on ipad

Apart from a few that require, for example, full phone capability yes (and as long as you have the appropriate iOS version installed on your iPad).
If the apps are universal apps (indicated by a '+' symbol against them in the App Store) then there is one version of the app which has processing within it which recognises the device that it is on and will configure the display accordingly - so they should make full use of the iPad's larger screen.
If the app is only designed for the iPhone/iPod Touch then it will still work on the iPad but it will just take up an iPhone sized portion of the screen, unless you press the '2x' button which will appear on the screen which will effectively double the size of each pixel in both directions (so therefore may appear pixelated).

  • Will iPhone 4S work in northern Canadian community that has only CDMA coverage?

Will the iPhone 4S work in a northern Canadian community that only has CDMA coerage?

The CDMA iPhone only works on Verizon or Sprint in the US.  Even the 4S which is a world phone only works on the Verizon and Sprint CDMA networks (and their CDMA roaming partners worldwide).  Unless and until Apple releases the iPhone for other CDMA carriers, it will not work on other CDMA networks officially.
Can it be made to work on those networks, possibly.
Can that be discussed here?  No.

  • Will Iphone GPS work in Spain?

My husband and I are going to Spain in a couple of months and plan on driving, will my gps in my iphone 3g work?

GPS is Global Positioning Satellite it will work globally.
Iphone gets its maps from the internet. Your iphone will know where it is, but without internet access, there will not be a map on which to plot that location.
As long as you have internet access, you will have access to maps.

  • Will iPhone 5c work in Egypt

Will the iPhone 5c work in Egypt with Vodafone Egypt or Etisalat ?
If i purchased it from USA or UK, will it work in Egypt ?
    Thanks,
    Mohammed

The power adapter accepts a wide range of AC input voltages and frequencies.  You won't need a different power adapter but, depending upon the AC prong orientation in Korea, you may need to purchase an AC prong adapter.  You can check the iPhone 5C specifications on both the US and Korea Apple online stores at your leisure.

  • Will iphone 5 work in Singapore?

I am wondering if and how the iphone 5 works over seas specifically singapore? I have business that I must travel their for and am trying to figure out my best way of communication with family back home in the states.

I suggest you add details of which carrier you are with
If AT&T you can roam as is , but check with AT&T if they need to provision roaming on your contract
Also they may have a package for data and calls whilst outside US
You can also use wifi obviously
If a CDMA carrier no idea ...sorry

  • Will Wireless WRT54G3G Work with USB Broadband card?

Hi, I bought the WRT54G3G Router... When it arrived I realized it was made to take a plug in Broadband card with the small connectors. I have a USB broadband card. Does anyone know if it will still work via another method, ie: via a lan line, or if there is an adapter for the wireless plugin that would convert it so it could be used with a USB port? Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you... Jo

  • Will iPhone 5 work in the Philippines?

If I purchase iPhone 5 in U.S., will it work in the Philippines?

How do you "officially unlock" a phone.
    Does that change the warranty.
Does unlocking change EVERYTHING like jailbreaking it does.
Do I have to reload everything on my phone.

  • Will iphone 4 work japan

    I have a US AT&T  iPhone 4.
Will it work in Japan, or does it lack the required 2100 band?
    thanks

It should but the voice and data roaming will be hideously expensive. Contact AT&T for rates.

  • Will iPhone cable work with iPod classic?

Will the combination iPhone/BT headset cable that came with my iPhone also charge my iPod classic?

The cable that came with the iPhone should charge any iPod with a 30 pin connection. I charge my nano with the iPhone dock/cable.

  • Will iphone cases work with the touch

when looking for a case, can you use an iphone case?
or do you have to buy specific touch cases?

1G Touch cases also won't work with the 2G Touch that was just released. The case is a slightly different shape and there's a volume control on the side that would be covered by a 1G case.
The way power is supplied to the Touch through the dock connector changed as well.
    Cheers,
    Andreas

  • Moving to South Korea; Will iPhone 3GS work?

From what I've gathered in a few posts it sounds like it's hit or miss on whether or not you can transfer the iPhone between countries.
I've had the 3GS for a little over a year now (so still under the 2yr contract) and will be moving to South Korea within a couple months. Is it possible to use my phone there as I would in the states? If I have to stay with AT&T is my only option to pay for the international plans? Is it possible to end my contract with AT&T and use the 3GS with a Korean carrier? I'm looking for legal options to continue using my phone in Korea as I'll be there for a year.
    Thanks for your insight -Andrew

All US sold iPhone's are locked to AT&T.
AT&T will NOT unlock the iPhone, no matter what the reason.
Here is a list of carriers that offer the iPhone in various countries around the world. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937
If you want to use the iPhone in South Korea, sell your US iPhone before you leave and buy one in South Korea when you get there. The International roaming plan is extremely expensive.
Keep in mind that the warranty for the iPhone is ONLY valid for the country in which it was originally sold by Apple (or their authorized reseller).
