Will Logic Remote work with an iPad Mini ?

Will it work on an iPad mini even tho it's smaller ?

Hi Mate, yes it's fine with the mini (and iPad 2 onwards), the interface has plenty of room so is great to use too.

  • Will the 10W Apple Charger work with my iPad Mini

    Hello Everyone
I got a ipad mini for christmas and because the lightening cable and 5W charger don't reach because i have only got one socket accesible in my living room i was thinking about buying the 10W Charger from Western Computers in Cheltnam, Gloucestershire And I Have a few questions about it because it does not tell me on the website which devices it is compatible with my following questions are
Will It work with my ipad mini?
Will it charge my iPad Mini Quicker?
Will it be compatible with the lightening cable my ipad comes with or will i have to get a adapter of some sort?
Please can someone answer my questions and reply because i do not want to wast my £25.00

The 10W charger will work on all of Apple's iDevices. It will charge your Mini faster.
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. In rare instances when using the Camera Connection Kit, you may notice that iPad does not charge after using the Camera Connection Kit. Disconnecting and reconnecting the iPad from the charger will resolve this issue.

  • Will the 20" work with a Mac Mini?

I've heard that the apple cinema monitors only work on PowerMac G4's and G5's. Is a Mac Mini a powermac g4. or will the monitor work with a mac mini?
    mike

Yes, all the latest Cinema displays work with the mini except for the 30".

iPad requires Wifi (or 3G /LTE) to connect to the Internet. You cannot connect a USB modem to the iPad.
You can create your own WiFi hotspot through your computer for your iPad to connect to, if your computer supports this functionality. All Wifi Macs and many Wifi PCs do. Check your computer manual for how to do it.

Will a HOTSPOT work with my iPad while in Europe?

    Define Hotspot.
If you mean a Wifi network, then yes, as Wifi is the same everywhere.

  • Will the 10 watt charger work with the iPad mini

I hate how long it takes to charge my iPad mini with the 5 watt charger, so I bought a 10 watt iPad charger online.  It charges my iPhone 5 but not the iPad mini.  The mini recognized it, but it says "not charging"  Did I just get a bum charger (only paid $3.50 on Amazon), or should I try the new 12 watt iPad charger?

Yes I would but only a  genuine Apple product ,you have no idea of the
quality of a $3.50 charger although you could have guessed
A genuine Apple 10 w will be fine but 12w better and is approved for all
    iOS products

  • Getting the smart board to work with the iPad mini

I currently only have access to a mini for personally and for the classroom. I used to have access to an iPad 2. Now they both could have the smart software and I use a smart board regularly. However when I plug the mini into the board using the lightning to VGA it tells me hardware not supported. Now how am I supposed to use the software that is supported if the mini can not plug into the smart board itself?  Several other educators tell me the mini is supposed to work with it so we are now confused. Is my device glitches? I've take it to the store but because  the stores do not have smart boards on the premises to test with the device they an not solve.  Is there anyone else aware of this issue that has found a solve?

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

  • Why does a USB stick not work with my ipad mini

I bought an IPad mini and got an adapter to hookup a USB stick, but no matter what stick Zi put in the connection I get the same error message. " cannot use device the device requires too much power".

YOu can only download from cameras, SD cards and certain flash drives (i've had a 50/50 success rate when I've played around, with no consistent size or brand that always worked). The only formate it'll see are photos and videos and even those must follow a very strict naming convention.
There is zero support to transfer documents, music or any other kind of files to the iPad. As well as zero support for exporting anything off the iPad.
If you want to share your pictures, try uploading them to something like flicker or other online services.

  • Hi I have a Lexmark all in one printer how do I get it to work with my ipad mini

Hi I have a Lexmark all in one printer how do I  get it to work  with my  mini ipad

It depends upon the model. It's wifi-enabled ? And is it listed on this page as supporting AirPrint : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356 ?
If not then do Lexmark have their own app in your country's store that supports that model ? If they don't then there are a number of third-party printer apps such as Print n Share and PrintCentral Pro which might work with it.

  • Can I connect my iPad mini to a data projector using a lightning to 30-pin adapter connected to a 30-pin to VGA connector? Or will this only work with a lightning to VGA connector.

Can I connect my iPad mini to a data projector using a lightning to 30-pin adapter connected to a 30-pin to VGA connector? Or will this only work with a lightning to VGA connector?

The lightning to 30 pin adapter does not support video as per the item description in the Apple online store:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD823ZM/A/lightning-to-30-pin-adapter
This adapter lets you connect devices with a Lightning connector to many of your 30-pin accessories.* Supports analog audio output, USB audio, as well as syncing and charging. Video output not supported.
You will need to the Lightning to VGA adapter directly
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD825ZM/A/lightning-to-vga-adapter?fnode=3a
Or the Lightning Digital AV Adapter
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD826ZM/A/lightning-digital-av-adapter
If the projector supports HDMI input.

  • HT1947 I can't seem to get my earphones to work on my iPad mini whe using iTunes remote. I can stream to any Airplay capable system perfectly. Just want to be able to listen to headphones iTunes "wirelessly"

I can't seem to get my headphones to work on my iPad mini when using iTunes remote.
I can stream to any Airplay capable system perfectlyvia Remote and control iTunes on my iMac as advertised.
Just want to be able to listen to iTunes on my iPad "wirelessly"

    Yay!
I discovered this lovely little forum entry that solved my problem!
(Remember this is for Windows, I'm not sure if the same will work for Mac)
    This is what you do:
1: Have iTunes up and plug in your iPod.
2: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons down until the iPod shuts down.
3: When the screen is blank, release the Sleep/Wake and just hold the Home button down for about 15 seconds.
4: After then, iTunes will recognize an I iPod in Recovery Mode.
5: That's when iTunes will ask you to Update/Restore your iPod.
I'm pretty sure those are the steps.
(If anything is wrong, can someone fix it, please?)
    But that really does work.
The writer said that his iPod was "stuck on the apple screen, and not going anywhere after that."
That was my issue, so hopefully this will work for you!

  • I am having issues with my iPad mini. My issue is sometimes my apps will open up without me touching them

Hello everyone. I really need some help with my iPad mini. Lately it has been acting like it has a mind of its own, I could be reading a book in iBooks and the pages will start flipping on its own.  At times it will not allow me to post messages, as well as some of my apps, mainly my puzzle app will open up without me touching it. I really don't not know what is wrong with it. Can someone please help me

Reset the iPad and see if that helps. Close all apps first.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work, you should probably restore the iOS software. Instructions are in this kb article.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414
If that fails, you are pretty much out of options and you should take your iPad to an Apple Store. They might be able to use their magic to restore the device for you, or if it is a hardware problem they will explain your options to you at that point.
