Will my ipod sync when i get my new one?
My son dropped my iPod touch and i am sending it back and getting a new one and i am wondering when i get the new one will the new iPod touch sync with the apps that i had bought with the old one?
You just plug it in. Syncing them to it is done the same way you synced them to the first iPod.

I have had bad luck with electronics lately my computer got lost to water and cant be fixed now my Ipod has been stolen I reported it to Apple but now I need to know when I get a new one how can I get back my music and games etc. if I can get it just with my account
What kind of iPod are you getting to replace it? If it is an iPod Touch, and you are in the US, after you set up the Touch you can use the iCloud beta and download your previous music, books and app purchases directly to your Touch.

Ipod cracks/bubbles? getting a new one
so my ipod has these cracks and bubbles in that clear layer over the ipod, all around the click wheel/ bottom half...
i got it 2 years ago for my bday, but is there anything i can do to get a new ipod? i cant afford a new one right now...
is theyre like an ipod protection or warrenty that would still be good?Unless you purchased AppleCare for your iPod, you're out of warranty. You can check the warranty status of your iPod at this link: https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do
To fix those bubbles and cracks, you would need to have the front cover of your iPod replaced. There are many third-party iPod repair companies out there that would replace the cover- I'd estimate the cost to be around $30.00. -
I really need help with this one. Had alot of music on my old ipod cant figure out how to put it on my new one?
If you are asking how to authorise your iTunes account on that computer, then you do so via the Store drop-down menu at the top of iTunes (pressing Alt-S should get the Store menu to appear) - this screenshot is from a Mac, but it should be fairly similar on windows 8 :

If i had a stolen ipod touch can i get a new one with my warranty
if i had a warranty from walmart and my ipod was stolen can i get a new one
Unfortunately most warranties do NOT cover theft.
However, take this as a lesson. Next time make sure to set-up Find My iPhone through iCloud.com. I had my iPod stolen once and I was able to track it back and find it easily with that program!
Cheers! -
My iphone 4 will not notify me when I get a new text message.
It just started doing this just recently. I checked all my settings, do not disturbe is not on, the notification center is setup like it should be. It went off once but even later that day when I was texting them it never went off again. PLEASE HELP.
I've checked all the settings and still been having this problem and many others for example it's been over heating (has no water damage). I guess Ill just have to take the phone into the store. Thanks for the help though.

I loss my iPod and can i get a new one
hello i was wondering if i can get my ipod replacted.it was one of the first one to be in stock it was a grey 5th gen 16 gb with out a camera in the back
please help thank you for your time.Unless it's covered by insurance, you'll need to buy another at the normal price. Neither the limited warranty nor AppleCare+ covers that.

If u lost ur ipod touch can u get a new one
help me
For free from Apple? If you cant locate it with the iCloud "Find my iPhone" feature. Nope. Change all passwords and report it to the police. Give them your Serial Number.
If you want another one - you have to buy it. Sorry. -
Lost iPod--when I buy a new one, will it sync to my computer okay?
So I recently lost my iPod. When I get a new one and plug it into the computer, will the new iPod automatically sync and transfer my entire iTunes library? I'm worried it might try to erase my library because the new iPod will obviously be blank. Thanks!
Yes, it will. Back up the existing library anyway.

my iphone3 its ben havin g a lot of problems it will not lock i open a game and
it will go to ipod im going to get a new one but i would like to know what is rong with itYeah, and it didn't work.
I had problems when I updated to iOS 5 (lost all my apps - a few of my friends had the same problem) and when there was an update to iOS 4 (camera wouldn't work). The iOS 5 issue was sorted by backup (but I lost the app data) but for the iOS 4 issue I had to return my iPod to get a new one. -
Now i can give my wife my old iphone and i will get the new one
both of us will be very happy...thanks apple...win win...peace
rastafari
and no i do not feel apple screwed me over by making improvements on their product...EVERYONE knew this was coming and made the decision because they needed it the way it worked as a 2g phone...and for all we know the 3g may have a flaw and the old phones will be hot commodities...Ummm--you're taking the new phone (from what I can gather from your post) and giving your wife the old phone. HOW IS SHE GETTING A PHONE THAT COSTS "a couple hundred less"?????
YOU ARE GETTING A CHEAPER PHONE...she's just getting your "cast-off".
It's nice that you're giving your wife your "old" phone...but it's not special and you shouldn't feel especially proud. If you didn't have a wife...what would you do with this phone when you get the new one? -
I had an HP laptop with Itunes on it and kept my library on an external hard drive. I had a 160gb classic Ipod.
My computer died and i am buying a new one (mac is out of budget)
When I get my new computer, obviously I will download Itunes. My Ipod still has all the music on it and the external hard drive is ok.
I don't want to "erase" or lose any information when I sync with a new itunes that is "empty"
What are the steps? After I download Itunes and set the folder location to my external harddrive what is next? Will Itunes recognize my IPOD? Will it load the music/list from my ipd or external into itunes?
Thanks in advanceThe following user tip is worth checking through:

i have about 800 more songs on my nano than itunes, due to a crash. How can I get the songs onto itunes from the ipod, or at least get the new music ive gotten since the crash onto my ipod without deleting all the other songs when it syncs?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If you have failed to bakup, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases -
So i bought music on a different computer but oAn the same itunes account and on the same ipod and when i get on my original computer and i sync my ipod my purchases that were on the other computer didnt show up. How can i put them on my computer/ipod
Download them to the computer to which the iPod is synced, re-sync.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not available in all countries; apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Movies currently available in the USA only. Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later. Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list, or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid. Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases. -
I am trying to sync my itunes with my ipod, but when I get to step 3 of syncing, it stops. Also, I deleted all the songs on my ipod, and when I go to my music in my ipod the songs are all still there and in a grey color and I'm not able to select them. How do I completely clear my ipod music, and how can I solve the syncing problem?
Sync works the same way it always has, connect the device, select the content desired to sync and sync.
All the media should be in iTunes already, iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
If this is a new computer, move the content from the old computer to the new computer.
