Will my outlook calender ever sync to my phone?????????????????????????????

Starting a new thread in hopes that someone has the cure. I have tried all the cures i could find in threads and still no luck. Contacts are great but no calendar. Latest move was to completely uninstall Office 2003 and install office 2007. Tomorrow, I am going to completely uninstall Office 2007 and reinstall and delete pst file and see what comes about. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same problem but I took Allan's tip: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305845 and it worked. My problem was that I had to make sure the nonApple apps were unchecked under COM Add-ins. I had a PDF reader that was checked off. Once I unchecked it, I then followed the rest of the steps including removing then reinstalling iTunes. I had to do this 2-3x because I thought I only needed to do a few of the steps..Big mistake..Make sure you complete ALL the steps. Hope this helps.

My Outlook Calender wont sync with iCloud/iPad/iPhone? despite doing everything as per the support page. I keep on clicking the Add in but it wont "take"?

This step is not clear:
"Open a secure website to see if you can access ports 80 and 443. Outlook requires access to port 443 to push and fetch updates to and from the iCloud Contacts servers."
The link takes me to an Apple page but which has nothing to do with ports. And there is nothing to explain what it is I am looking for, how to look for it, and how to change it if needed.
Also, this step:
"Open the iCloud Control Panel and make sure that you're signed in to the same iCloud account that you're using on your other supported devices."
iCloud automatically set up a "[email protected]...." account for me so I see that one plus my original email used to open my Apple account. And the apple products show my settings under both identities.
Make sure the iCloud Outlook Add-in is active within Outlook
This add-in is disabled because it doesn't allow Outlook to function properly.

Outlook Calender Not Syncing

For an unknown reason my outlook calender does not sync with my iphone 4 thru iTunes anymore! The outlook contacts has no problem and i can see changes vise versa when i do.Please bail me out.

Office for MAC 2011 outlook Calender not syncing

I have a mac book pro laptop user and that installed Office 2011 for Mac. I've setup outlook to use a exchange account and for whatever reason. i can't seem to get his calender to sync on the mac version.
Any ideas or help on this would be appreciated.

Please try to configure this Exchange account in Outlook 2010/2013 for Windows machine to check whether the issue persists. Also check if everything is OK in OWA.
If the issue doesn't happen in Windows machine and OWA, it indicates there is no issue with this problematic user's mailbox and Calendar in Exchange server. If the issue only happens in Outlook 2011 for Mac, I suggest we can ask a question in Outlook

Laptop died. lost outlook. need to sync contacts from phone.

I lost a lot of outlook data (messages, calendar, tasks, and contacts) when my laptop died. I tried to sync the phone, but I am afraid that it will wipe out my contacts on the phone, too. I can't be without them. I also wondered if I could somehow back up the lost data from the files I managed to save - or if that would be wise - on outlook. I use ToDo to sync with my Outlook tasks and have not been able to sync that, either. All my tasks are also on the phone only.
Any wise techies out there that can walk me through the steps to salvage and sync?

Thank you for helping. And I have not used Zune for anything besides music, so I wouldn't know about that. I know they are phasing them out, and was not suggesting that it is anything compared to the iPhone (I adore my iPhone and mostly use it for photography - which there's just no comparison). I was just saying that the sync and data transfer interface is not user friendly - as far as music and outlook data. I haven't tried syncing to Google, but that's another option for the future as I might just migrate away from Outlook if I have to go through this much more.
I probably should try and find someone to help me "fix" my Outlook before I sync the data - since all this might be a moot point if I were able to salvage the data from my hard drive and somehow bring my Outlook back to life on this new computer. Just afraid that it might be corrupted - since the other computer was destroyed by a virus.

I updated my iphone 3gs today with ios 5. I had 5 custom ringtones on my phone before updating. After updating, it will not allow me to transfer 2 of those ringtones onto my phone. I deleted both ringtones and recreated them. They are in my itunes ringtone library, and show under my phone ringtones. When I sync my phone, 2 will not sync onto my phone? Any information will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Outlook calender wont sync

Since most recent updates, I an unable to sync new events from iphone calendar to outlook 2010 or vice versa. Itunes says the settings for over the air syncing can be changed but can't figure out what to do. Please help. *I beleive iphone calendar is syncing to Icloud calendar but it is no longer syncing with main outlook calendar.

The Reason for that is when you are syncing over the air the device will not sync with the computer to prevent duplications.
If you are using Windows Vista/7 You can setup iCloud so it will sync with your device wirelessly.

Hi, The easiest way to fix this is to disable the calendar for you mail account. You will be prompted to delete all outlook related calendar entries from your iphone. Select OK to delete. Check your iphone calendar, it should now not contain any outlook entries. Then go back to your mail settings and re-enable your calendar. go and check your iphone calendar again. It should now be populated with the calendar entries from you outlook account.... This method of refreshing the information on your iphone can also be done with contacts.

Most of my work i do in my macbook pro, it will be super cool if everything i do on my mac inmediatle appeared on my iDevices so i could keep on work on the document and viceversa.
Is this possible? Is this ever gonna happen?

Nobody knows. But as far as reviewers of OSX 10.8 beta have found out there is some new icloud document stuff included. So .. maybe this year when the OS comes out.

Outlook contacts not syncing between PC & phone

I had a major iCloud install fail and lost all contacts and calendar items. To restore normality to the phone, I (am pretty sure I have) disabled iCloud, and restored my Calendar and Contacts. But now it wont sync contacts between my PC & phone.
I am assuming that I must have changed some other setting in trying to resolve all of the above, but cannot for the life of me figure it out.
My calendar is back to syncing normally, so am not sure what is going on with my contacts. It wont sync in either direction - when I do a sync it appears to go through the motions like it would normally and does not throw up any error message that something is wrong. I found out by accident when contacts I entered on my PC where not on my phone, despite several syncs since.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I still cannot find a solution to this. Is there anyone with any tips that could help?

Outlook 2010 Calendar Sync Issue

Background:
1. Traditional Chinese Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit running Outlook 2010 64 bit and iTunes 10.6.3.25 64bit.
2. Three apple devices (namely, one iPad 2, one iPhone 4S and one iPhone 4) using the same apple id sync contact and calenda with Outlook 2010 since Day 1.
3. No setup for sync with iCloud, Google Calenda, Live Calenda,etc before.
Issue:
1. Calendar and contact sync were working perfectly until two weeks ago when a conflict calendar message appeared but I neglected it (and now the conflict message does not pop up again).
2. Any edit/ new addition in iDevice calendar does not appear in Outlook Calenda after sync. Any edit/ new addition in Outlook Calendar does not appear in iDevice either. But contact sync is working flawlessly.
3. Although the new entry/ edits of calenda of iDevice, say iPad 2, does not appear in Outlook Calendar after sync, the (supposingly) missing items appears again in my iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 after sync with Outlook. So I believe the items are still there but cannot be properly displayed in Outlook Calendar only. But if I create an entry in Outlook Calendar, the new entry or edit do not sync to my iDevices.
4. Tried "reset sync history" and it didn't resolve the issue. Browsing in internet for three days and tried many methods but the issue still exists. Checked the calendar profile in Outlook and it is teh same as contact prfile. But contact sync successfully but calendar does not.
Please HELP!

Exatcly the same thing here with Outlook 2007 (-> not an Outlook 2010 issue???)
I tried several times. First I deleted all entries in my Outlook (I only want to copy entries from iPhone to Outlook). I made sure, none of the "Replace information on this iPhone"-flag was ticked and I also used the "Reset Sync History"-Button in iTunes.
Sync is OK for Contacts and Notes but all Calendar-Entries are deleted on the iPhone after sync (and Calendar in Outlook is still empty of course).
I am using an iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.0.1, iTunes 9.2.1.4, on a Win7 64Bit with Outlook 2007 (was all OK a month ago when I was still using iOS 3.1.3, and iTunes ?.?.? (not sure but I think it was the version just before 9.2))

OK here is a problem I have with my calender- all the events are added mutible times for each event- at least 4 of each. So how do I get all of these mutiable events down to just one event. Now this also includes hollidays and personel events on the calender from outlook. All this I think happened after sync to Cloud- not sure, could have happened after OS 5 update!!! Now this is on my iPhone 4. Now going to my calender on my home computer in outlook no events or holidays are showing in the outlook my calender. If I go to the icloud calender it has mutiable events and holidays like on my iPhone. Now how do I fix this without causing a problem with my other programs?

Itunes does not recognize an Outlook calender so I cannot sync. 'All Calenders' is checked prior to syncing. Does anyone have a suggestion?

go to settings-> general-> Reset-> Erase all contents and settings. When ur phone finishes that, set it up as a new phone(instead of restoring from old back ups) and then sync with itunes. This should work.
If that doesnt work too.. then delete the softwareupdate.ipsw file from itunes media folder and do a restore. This will download a new iOS file from apple which will be completely error free. (Do this only if the above step didnt solve the issue.)

Syncing ipod classic with outlook calender

When I first got my ipod classic it was syncing with my outlook calender, a week later its not! I get a message telling me unable to sync try logging out of windows which I have tried but still not working. It seems to be syncing the calender but when it finishes and you disconnect and check the calender... it still is not showing any calender items..... any suggestions please

TS1347 IPAD calender not syncing with outlook calender

After updating to itunes my ipad calender does not update with outlook calender. It has not ever been a problem! I've synced several times and items that are in outlook are not appearing on my IPAD.

What version of Outlook do you have? It's possible that iOS6 has limited backwards compatibility.
