i have a nokia c3-01 and current version is 5.6,newest one is 6.0,last time i upgrade my other phone and its become unable to view chinese word,but last time i upgrade using connect to com method,now i wanna update my phone using the software update button,after upgrade can my phone continue view chinese word?
What you are referring to is non-official methods of updating the phone, which we are not at liberty to discuss here. Im unable to view chinese and japanese characters on some sites

Thanks in advance!You need to have a Chinese language pack installed on your phone.
This is not something the end-user can install, it has to be done by a Nokia Care Point.
Note that the absence of Chinese language support on a phone not intended for sale on the Chinese market is not considered a fault in the phone and is therefore not covered by your warranty. There may be a charge for this. Also note that language packs don't usually survive a reset or a firmware update. In the event that your phone undergoes either, you may have to have the language pack re-installed.

I have suddenly become unable to access photo library (iPhoto vers 9.5) on my external hard drive. Also time machine isnt backing up to same external hard drive (LaCie). The drive does show up on the desk top, but when i open iPhoto the library isnt listed, so I cant option click.
First, one should not try to run an iPhoto library from the same volume/drive that is being used by Time Machine for backups. TM will continue to fill up the drive thus squeezing out iPhoto from being able to be opened and used. Also that doesn't allow you to let TM backup your library as it does with other files on your boot drive.
If you partition the EHD into two separate partitions you can run the library from it but that won't let TM backup the library which is important.
Are you able to see the library on the EHD via the Finder? If so copy it back to your boot drive and open it there. You may have to do some fixing on it.
Solution is to either run the library from the boot drive or get a second EHD to run the library from and let TM back it up along with your boot drive.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

When iWorks for iCloud Beta become available I subscribed to it. After that I become unable to access iCloud at all as in all my devices I get messages to install it and other apps (find my phone, etc) that are already active. Anyone could help?
The first time an iPhone is connected to iTunes that is used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device or to set up the iPhone as a new iPhone.
The former does as provided - it transfers the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the iPhone replacing all data on the iPhone that is included with the backup being transferred. The latter does nothing allowing you to make your various selections for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
This is designed to be done right away with a new iPhone.
If you don't have a backup for the iPhone with iTunes on your computer and don't have an iCloud backup that hasn't been updated since choosing to transfer the backup for your iPod Touch to the iPhone, the data that was on the iPhone is gone. -
my phone was unable to finish the latest update and gone into recovery mode. will only restore if i do a factory reset, but i dont wanna lose my photo/videos!!! how can i back up up before i restore it. im not able to acces my phone normaly, stuck in recovery or something.
it seemed to have backed up everything just before the software update 6.1.4. so after the full restore i restored from backup and its all still there (mostly)

As with all things of this nature, no software vendor can forever remain compatible with every historical PC platform...XPSP2 has indeed been dropped from compatibility with the current version of the RIM Desktop Software. Your choices are:
Update to XPSP3 (which, if I recall correctly, is completely free)
Fall back to a version of the Desktop Software that is compatible with XPSP2...you can find older versions here:

Unable to view external webcam content. I'm using IE11 with Windows 7 64 bit. I've tried deactivating Activex control, tried different browsers etc, tweeked the tools for trusted sites etc, but am totally stuck. I know the cams are working as i can view them on mobile phone via puffin browser. I can play Youtube videos etc just fine. So why not the webcam?

Unable to view Timeline / Unable to open a file
Has anyone had a problem with the Timeline view being unavailable (Cap V4)? I go to view>timeline and it shows the notes view. I makes it rather difficult to edit the timeline when you can't see it.
I've also had problems from the Captivate 4 opening screen not being able to use the "Recent" column. I cannot select a previously edited CP file nor will it give me a search dialog box from the "Open" command. I've occasionally been able to use Windows Explorer, naviagate to the file I want to open and double click on it to get it to open in Captivate.Hello there,
Yes, I have been unable to view the Timeline in Adobe Captivate 4. In my case this was due to the Captivate .dat file having become corrupted. To start with I would recommend that you try removing the .dat file from the following location.
Drive Letter \Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Captivate
Please note that the path on Windows Vista might be slightly different.
When you next fire up Captivate, the application will automatically create a new .dat file.
As for not being able to open a file, that sounds a little more serious. If generating a new .dat file does not solve this problem, then you might have to resort to re-installing Captivate. It is posssible that one of the application components has become corrupted.

Many thanks to all of you who replied , Well I have never had this problem before with down or up loading mail via Pop 3 to my Google , GMX and O2 email accounts until towards the end of last month , First I notice I could not receive or send emails then I noticed I could not even conect to the internet .Yes I could connect to the router Which is a FORTH TOT Fiber link but that works fine . My desk is about 5 feet from the router were I also have my Lap Top which works fine also my Smart TV connects to the router and can down and up load mail this is how I found out that the Black Berry was not work . I can connect to the Router with the Black Berry and connect to Google or Yahoo but the pop3 link just wont work . So I went to a few other places near my office and tried there WiFiand it was the same it was the same no pop3 forwarding so the problem is the network or the phone . So I reinstall new firmware this was 7.1.0 Bundle 2061and like you say reloading service books but its still the same .Which brings me to think is it the net work .I live in the south of Thailand and been down here since 95 but I think this may have to wait until I return to the UK next year . But its very strange . As for not being able to connect to O2 from thailand well its now working again as before I could only get access useing a VPN . Don't take your laptop back. Find out the number for Apple Care in your part of the world and call them. Tell your story to them. If the person on the phone can't help you, ask for their supervisor. Now sometimes a thing will be bad and in that case the word gets out and everyone knows that particular electronic has surpassed the normal failure percentage. The Airs, however, have not done that. Their reputation, so far, has been incredibly solid and good. So you can assume that you, unfortunately, got one out of that small percentage of electronics that have an issue.
Laptops, let us remember, are doing a lot in a very small area. A lot can go wrong, and it's pretty amazing how many don't, especially given how many are made and sold. Sometimes we get the bad apple in the barrel, it doesn' t mean that the company making it has gone down hill. We hope the manager of the store, or the company, or someone will do right by us. If they don't, then we need to make sure they do. Keep asking for upper management till you get what you want. -
Some albums become "unable to be found" seemingly at random...
...very strange, entire albums at a time will become "unable to be found" ...any idea why this would happen?? It seems the more albums become subject to this issue over time.. I've rebuilt my library from scratch.. created new libraries.. ive got the most recent iTunes installed..
funny thing is i never had this problem on my G4.. but my MBP has had this problem for the past year ever since ive been using it..

I made a playlist last week.. it was working all week.. this morning it worked, now a few hours later iTunes cannot find 75% of the songs in the playlist ...the locations havent changed (i know that can mess up a windows itunes, but im on osx)
