Will my warranty be renewed after repairing device in the store?

Hey everyone,
I purchased my Macbook Pro Retina in April 2013, recently dead pixel appeared there and I took laptop to apple store and left it there (they said that it will be repaired). So, basically, question is, will my warranty be renewed after repair (so I'll have it till january 2015 and not april 2014)?

April 2014, not January 2015. If you purchase Applecare, the warranty will be extended to April 2016.

Forget the device again, then turn off bluetooth on your iPad, then turn both the iPad and the keyboard completely off. Wait 30 seconds to one minute. Now turn on your iPad and turn on bluetooth. Turn on your keyboard and pair them up again.

My iPod touch fell and a part of the screen shattered. It turns on and off, but the screen is no longer able to operate. How do I get it fixed? Will i have to send it in, go to the store, or just get a new one?

HT201412 ipod touch will not turn on even after ive held down the home and sleep buttons

I have an ipod touch that just recently started to be unresponsive! It had a good amount of battery left and then all of a sudden it turned off and now will not turn back on even after 30mins of charging. no charging screen has appeared either. ive held down both the home n sleep buttons for 10secs or more and still nothing has happened. then i held down just the home button. still nothing and then i tried holding down the sleep/wake button for a couple seconds and still nothing has happened are there any other ways of turning my ipod back on or did it **** the bed and i should get a new one? thanks

I tried to open my iphoto icon and it gave me a warning message. My hubby and I recently upgraded our system to Lion and downloaded iCloud.
I am so scared that all my photos will be lost after I press upgrade. I was unable to quit iphoto the normal way and had to force quit. I hope I never screwed things up.
Just a note: My hubby backed up our files a while ago on Time Machine, but with his track record, I am not so confident that things were done properly and therefore I need a professional to help me out.

I guess I should give a little bit of hitory.
My hubby put on file vault on his profile and he failed to put in the correct password. Since then I/we have been unable to open a bunch of our files.
I gave him instructions not to download or do anything that would jeopardize any of our files anymore. I cannot, with a good conscience, upgrade anything that I am not sure of.
I do not want him to turn around and say I told you so like I said to him.
We have a bunch of photos on iphoto and now I cannot see them because of the message it gives me: cancel or upgrade.

My iphone 4 went dead even when there was plenty of batery life. I ran through the reboot for holding down the home button with the power button and it still did not come back up. Any thoughts?

Plug it into a wall outlet for at least 30 minutes, then try resetting it again. If no respose, you most likely have a hardware issue. Make an appointment at an Apple store.

Yes, although it depends on the store exactly whether and what repairs they actually do in-store. Some repairs require the store to send it into the AppleCare repair facility.

If the new phone has already been setup, make sure the phone and iTunes are both set to the same account.
You might also have to authorize this computer for the new device under the store menu.

It is true that the only way to sync your Mac with iCloud is to upgrad. You need to be running OS X Lion 10.7.2 or higher in order to sync your Mac with iCloud. At this point, you can upgrade directly to OS X Mountain Lion from the version of OS X you are now running (10.6.8). You can purchase and download the Mountain Lion upgrade from the Mac App Store for $19.99. After upgrading you will see iCloud in System Preferences. Once all your devices are signed into the same iCloud account and you have turned on your iCloud data syncing, you will be able to keep them all in sync using iCloud. Warranty void after repair ?

Dear other iPhone users,
Two weeks after taking possession of my iPhone 6 it fell out of my breast pocket flat on the ground, the screen shattered. I blamed myself, and went - here in Kenya where I live and bought the iPhone - to the Apple service repair centre at Elite Digital.
As they had offered a free insurance on the phone I 'only' had to fork out around 110 USD to repair the screen.
A week later I notice that the repair wasn't carried out correctly, the screen was loose and came out on the top, allowing water and dust ingress.
Back to the service centre where it came back 24 hours later apparently repaired.
The iOS 8.1.3. came out and during the update there was an error message (error 53 - very revealing !). I again had to get in touch with the staff at Elite Digital who let me know that this was a hardware issue and I had to send the phone over.
A day later I got the message indicating that as the phone had been broken the warranty was void and that therefore they wouldn't replace the phone free of charge, but that the above-mentioned insurance would cover but that I had to fork out AGAIN 110 USD.
Now, as the repair was done at an authorised repair centre I expect the warranty not void. It's not because the screen was broken, badly repaired, repaired again, that the warranty of the phone isn't valid anymore - at least, that is my understanding of things.
Thanks for your feedback and view of this message. The supplier is dragging its feet and unwilling to replace the phone which, according to him, indeed has a hardware problem but now seems to say that this is my fault.

We've an article that provides the following troubleshooting steps that may help stabilize your iPhone.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.

Just because the iPhone 4 has been discontinued, does not mean you won't get warranty service. You will, & if your phone needs replacing, under warranty, it will be replaced with an identical model.
