Will Newstand magazines be visible in iTunes without an iOS device?

Will it be possible to view Newsstand magazines on a Mac or PC within iTunes in addition to using an iOS device? This would be nice when not on the road...

i agree with Dave- we have had no inidication of that at this time. but all 5,000 of the zinio titles work across all of the platforms though (im the cmo at Zinio) and we will continue to be growing our offering along with the newstand. we are really excited to see the popularity of digital reading cotinuing to grow.

You should be able to use the share feature if you have home sharing turned on, on your Mac but you must be signed into iTunes on your iOS device I believe also.

Unable to sync iTunes purchases to IOS devices from Macbook

So Apple sells ebooks and audio books through iTunes to people on their Macbooks. RIght? And when you go to sync these purchases to the Apple IOS devices you are told that you can not sync them to the Apple IOS device without erasing all of the rest of your music library on the same IOS device. Right?
I have to stop right here because thoughts of "class action", of feeling having been defruaded, of having been taken for a ride. If I had nown before I bought my iPhone 4s that I would have to purchase all kinds of third party help to make it work only seemingly correct I would have never bought one. If I knew that when Jobs died this was going to happen I would have sold my Macbook right then and there. Tsk Tsk Tsk Mr Cook. So is Apple going to drive 10 hours from the nearest Apple Store to me and hand me a new Macbook without all of the bugs? Will that make me happy? No.

How to solve issue with strange iphoto events shown in itunes for sync IOS devices ? This issue is very old and not been fixed by apple... terrible

all softwares latest version january 2013.
I see in itunes many strange crazy iphoto events that in iphoto do not exist.
These vents are named as data and contains just few photos.
each event can be sync with IOS devices, but that event is not in iphoto !
It looks like miniatures... no way to solve this issue making all possible maintenance in iphoto library.
THis issue is very old, very terrible, people start to have doubts about iphoto as a reliable software.
Need a fix asap.

Apple aren't here. As you're the only person with this problem that I've seen on here, I would suspect that its more a local problem on your machine than something Apple need to fix.
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for the iPod Photo Cache.
Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

Downgrade iCloud without an IOS device or PC?

I no longer have an IOS device nor PC (in which I have install rights on). I want to cancel/downgrade my iCloud account before my credit card gets billed.
I have been in contact with a CS rep for iTunes and they keep referring me to the iCloud help site, which only offers me the option to downgrade through the PC software or through my IOS device. I only own an Android device, and my work PC does not allow me to install any software. I have looked through my online iCloud account and see no option to downgrade my account.
Surely Apple has a way for me to do this online or by phone? The iTunes CS rep seems to have no idea on how I can do this.
Is my only option through my credit card company?

No. I upgraded for extra storage when I had my iPhone.
I will be charged $20 in about a week or so to my credit card for the additional storage and I want to stop Apple from doing this.

I purchased ComTIA -Green IT Certification Exam Preparation Course in a Book for Passing the CompTIA Strata Green : How to Pass on Your Frist Try Certification Study Guide by William Manning because it was priced at 9.99 the lowest priced book I could find so I could study for my strata certification. I try opening it with adobe digital editions but all I get is white pages. I have paid my money to take the strata certification to help me find a job. Can you help me out please?

Were did you buy this book? If from Apple's iBook store, then you are stuck. Apple iBooks are DRM locked to Apple's iBook reader, and that program is only available for iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch).
If you bought it from another online store, which one? Many have their own readers available, including programs for other tablets, and for Windows and Apple computers (Barnes and Noble has their Nook app., Amazon has its Kindle app, Kobo has the Kobo reader app, and so forth).
Any of those apps will load and read an ebook bought from the respective store. Many can also be loaded into other stores apps by authorizing them using Adobe Digital Editions software or Calibra softeware.

and i lost all 3rd party apps and app data on my dad's ipad.
we have two ipads at home. the one belonging to my dad was never synced to an itunes library ever! it was set up as new right from the ipad. now, to install ios 7 on it i followed the instructions above and 'made a new library' in my user accound on the mac. my dad doesn't have any user account on our home mac as he never uses the computer at home.
so then i 'backedup' everything from my dad's ipad to the library and then updated it. upon restoring it brought back everything inside the bundled ios apps but the 3rd party apps and its data was gone!!!
i disticntly remember 'syncing' it before restoring it but itunes 11.1 didn't 'transfer' the purchases on its own. i should had known. now my dad has lost considerible data like saved articles in various news apps, game data, etc...
i dont know what to do. i dont know of this is reversible but if i could atleast know the best way to manage ios devices from multiple users with ONE ITUNES LIBRARY, that would be great!

Can't activate iTunes Match on iOS devices.

I subscribed to iTunes Match on my PC, but I can't get iTunes Match turned on in my iOS devices. In Settings > Music, there is only a "subscribe to iTunes Match" option instead of the option to simply turn iTunes Match on. What is wrong? All devices are authorized under the same Apple ID and software/OS is up to date.

Looks like I got it working.
I logged out of iTunes, rebooted the device, and signed in again. Then the toggle that turned on iTunes Match appeared.

Does anyone know if an Airport Extreme will support WevDav connections to a USB drive for iOS devices?

With the possible demise of iDisk I was wondering if anyone knew if a USB drive hanging off of an Airport Express can be accessed via a WebDav connection? I know that iCloud will get better, but it does not feel like it meets my needs for a file store and I wanted to possibly replicate something like iDisk with the TB drive I have on my AEBS.I know one answer would be to get a Mac Mini and simply run Lion Server, but Iam looking for a way to host files that can be accessible (and automagically sync'd between my MBP and then accessible by my iOS devices. No, I don't want to use DropBox.or pay for Box.net.

Sorry, but the AirPort Express will not support a USB drive, only a compatible USB printer.

Yes once the music is on a device (iPad, Iphone, iPod) you don't need to have your Mac running to listen to music. This is true if you do Match or just sync with iTunes. Once the music is on the IOS device or on the iCloud (so it can be downloaded) you do not have to keep your MAC up and connected to the Internet.

Very slow music download with iTunes match on iOS devices

For some time now I experience very slow performance downloading music with iTunes match on my iOS devices.
Downloading music takes ages now. Not so long ago download music with iTunes match was as fast as buying music from the iTunes Store.
I tried to restore my iPhone but nothing changed.
The download itself is quite fast but after that the blue progress bar is full and the statut is "en cours" (french) something like busy/ongoing in english . The other tracks have a status wating;
Any idea how to solve the issue?

Same here. It seems to be better when the device has been set up from scratch. A delete and restore does not the trick. So I learned to live with it

After upgrade to iTunes 11 no IOS devices appear

Upgraded to iTunes 11, which went great, Not one of my IOS devices (Ipad and iPhone5) are visable in iTunes. Connecting them to my mac results in.....nothing. Anyone with the same experiance?

IPad will not charge, hardly visible in iTunes, cannot restore

iPad was charging slowly recently. It then died and wouldn't charge, I got the plug into iTunes screen. Did that, spent ages waiting for my Mac to see it, when it did it wanted an update. That failed, saying it couldn't see it again. Then a full restore failed for the same reason. Obviously there's a fault with the USB connector, I've tried a few, and cleaned the connection port.
Could it be a big hardware fault or simply the port is damaged?

There's not much difference. In both cases, Apple doesn't repair it. If there is no sign of abuse (don't try to fix it yourself), they replace it with a refurbished unit. The fixed-price for non-warranty replacements can be found here. Hopefully your warranty is still in effect.
There is one thing that you can try but I don't want to give you much hope. Go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.

Cube won't process iTunes without an audio device present?

I've got a G4 Cube with no built-in Audio inputs or outputs (don't have the original USB speakers), so Tiger shows up as having no audio I/O options. I'm trying to use iTunes, with Nicecast, to broadcast some music, but because of the lack of audio devices iTunes (6.0.3) simply won't play - the play icon changes but the time doesn't progress and nothing is processed.
Does anyone know if a way to fool the Cube into thinking there's an audio device, so that it plays and is processed by CoreAudio? A software-only audio device or something? Would rather avoid having to buy some USB speakers just to get this to work.

Don't know about software doing the job because it's a mechanical interface. Any sound output will require USB or Firewire devices. Griffin Technology iMic USB Audio Interface is one inexpensive way to 'trick' the Cube into thinking there are speakers. It costs about $35, Google for prices.
Just plug it in, the Cube will see an output, set sound pref's and the program will work. Later, if you want speakers, you can get a cheap set and plug it into the iMic.
