You'll have to take that up with the WWF developer. It's not on Apple to make their stuff work with other companies, it's on the other developers to make their stuff work with Apple. So WWF will need to fix it.

If it is set to "lock rotation," the switch on the side of your iPad is probably set to prevent it.

Droid Turbo will not auto-rotate
My Turbo will not auto rotate in any app. I have toggled the auto rotate option, and reset my phone to factory. An ap I downloaded indicated the gyroscope was working fine, but it still will not work.

I want to make sure we get your Turbo back to its normal functionality. I know many of my applications require my screen to rotate as well. I appreciate all the troubleshooting you have completed to try to resolve this issue. Are you only encountering this issue on applications? Does the phone have any screen damage?

Since the installation of 8.0.2 my iPhone 6 will not auto rotate in any app. I have locked/unlocked the feature in settings several times using the command bar but to no avail. I read using the Kindle app and it also is locked in portrait whether the lock is on or off.

Actually, the OP tried that (six months ago) and it didn't work. They resolved the issue (six months ago) by updating their system software (six months ago). -
Photoshop CS3 will not auto-rotate images...
After loading CS3 on my new MacBook Pro (3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo), Photoshop does not auto rotate images?
The finder rotates them...Bridge rotates them...Expression Media2 rotates them.....Photoshop does not
Obviously the camera, Nikon D2x, is set to tag vertical images for rotation. What gives? I can't find any sort of setting in PS for auto rotate.

It is a waste of my time to have to do this after every photo shoot. Photoshop and many other programs do this automatically. There has to be a reason for it not working on my new laptop. I even uninstalled and reinstalled CS3.
I was hoping for a solution not a work around....I guess I need to contact the Adobe support team. Do they frequent these forums or is it just us? -

I checked the control center, and auto-rotate IS unlocked.

Thanks!My iPHone 4 does auto-rotate when unlocked in control center. Have you tried to turn the phone off and then on again, and/or reset all settings? It may be something that simple.

PDFmaker addin will not auto-load to Word
Using Office 2013 and Acrobat Pro 11.0.08. Until this week, the PDFmaker add-In was always enabled in Word. Then there was an error doing a merge to PDF.
Now every time I start Word, PDFmaker shows as inactive ("load behavior: unloaded") until I go to File | Options | Add-Ins and check the box to load it. Then it works fine until I close Word and have to do it again.
How do I get it to auto-load?? I can't find a place to set that.You can solve this problem by editing the "LoadBehavior" registry entry. The value needs to be 3 (load at startup).
With Office 2013, that registry key is at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins\PDFMaker.OfficeAddin
One note - the Add-In was loading when I ran as the administrator but not when I just opened a Word doc. I checked this same registry key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and it was set to 3. I am guessing that is why it worked when run as administrator. For some reason the LoadBehavior key had been revised to 0 on my HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry key.
Nevertheless, the fix above will work because I just tried it out on my machine and another here in the office which had the same issue. -

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I have 2 games Words with Friends and Cityville that receives a Pop-up message form iTunes... "Connect to iTunes to use Push Notifications" and will not allow me to exit out of the app or play. How can I get this message to STOP?
Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. I have also gone into settings - notifiations - and tried turning all notifications for these apps all off but that didnt work either. Any guidance is MUCH appreciated - Im not sure where to go from here.

SInce downloading iOS i have not been able to play words with friends in landscape mode, emailed zinga and they cannot find a reason why. Before download i always played in landscape mode. People i know are also finding the same problem, even family, it rotates on other apps etc but not this,it will turn upside down but still in portrait mode, i and others have paid for this game for ad free. Help. Please
This would be an app issue, not an issue with Apple. If you can flip it upside down, your accelerometer is working fine and can sense what position you are holding you iPad, however, the app isn't allowing it to rotate. Just give them time, and I'm sure they'll come out with an update for the app that will have it working again.

On my IPad Words With Friends has frozen. I have double clicked on the home button and identified the WWF icon. When I press and hold or swipe vertically the icon darkens but does not shake or bring up the minus sign. Any suggestions?

I purchased Words with Friends on my iPad. I then purchased an iPhone, however, this app is not showing up under "purchased". How can I download to iPhone without paying for it again?
Which version did you buy on your iPad ? If you bought the HD version then that is only compatible with the iPad, so you will need to buy the iPhone/Pod version (or download the free version) if you want to use it on your iPhone.

Try logging out of all the services that require your and his Apple ID. Navigate to Settings > iCloud, scroll down and tap Delete Account it will ask to either keep data on your iPad or remove it. It is up to you on how you want to proceed but I would recommend keeping it. Also Sign out of Settings > iTunes & App Store and then sign back in.

I play Words with Friends HD Free on my I pad. The game locked up and I deleted from my I Pad. When I tried to download it from purchased or free downloads it won't download. I had done this before but not since updating to IOS 7.02. I need help please.
I don't know if this will work but it's worth a try. Sign out of your iTunes account on your iPad, restart the iPad and sign back into your account.
Go to Settings>Store - tap on your Apple ID and tap on sign out. Restart your iPad and then sign back in via Settings>Store - tap on sign in and enter your email and password.
