Will not load still pics or audio
I have recently experienced big problems with my Elements 9 program after I have loaded into a new HP PC. When I am editing my project it will not let me import pics or audio as I use to do in my old laptop. I have upgraded from XP to Windows 7. Would that account for it by itself? Also, the editing is very slow, and in fact my program actually shuts down several times during the editing process. Once my computer said that all processing power was being used (I have a quad computer with 3.6 ghz speed...I bought it sepcifically after getting advice from this forum). I am very disappointed. Do I need to upgrade? Should I take the two projects I have loaded in the program out and then reload? I can't make videos until I do something. Help!!! Bill
I'm concerned that you can't import audio or photos. That would indicate some serious issues at your end, and not something we can likely help you with here on the forum.
That is assuming that by audio you mean WAV files and that by photos you mean photo that have been resized to no larger than 1000x750 pixels in size.
Other than that, Premiere Elements 9 works great on Windows 7. I had no problem running it on my Windows 7 machine.
Although version 10 runs even better and version 11 runs better than any version of the program, especially with AVCHD footage.
You say the program runs slowly during the editng process. What type of media files are you editing? (I assume you're not working with photos or audio files, since you say can't load them into a project.)
What model of camcorder is your video coming from and what format and resolution is it? Did you use Premiere Elements' Get Media tools to get the video from your camcorder to your computer?
When you started your Premiere Elements project, what project settings did you select? If you selected the correct project settings for your video you will NOT see red lines above your clips when you add them to your timeline. Is that the case in your project?

Firefox will not load all pics. correctly on certain websites
Example: I go to Snapfish to create a project, I click on an image and it will not load. Simply is not there.
I go to the Nat. Geo. website to shop. Click on t-shirts, it goes to the correct page but there are no images.
Never had this problem with Firefox before.If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.images pref should be 1.

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

Itunes 10 will not load on windows 7 64 bit. Error code 2324. Old Itunes is gone or not working. Cannot play anything although files are still there. What the ??? is error 2324. Seems like alot of people ar ehaving the same problem
I have had this problem with Windows 7 and iTunes updates for some time. Each time it takes hours to solve but with the over the air upgrade to IOS6 on my iPhone and iPad, I was determined to solve and remember what I did, So here it is:

Upgrading to V4 has lost all of my Bookmarks, I still have the restore files in my profile data but they will not load, I have tried importing the html backup file too but it didn't work either. How can I get them back?
Ok this is bizzare!
Thank you for your response, I went throught each and every step without any luck, even got the recovery programme, and painstakingly tried to sift through all that mumbojumbo to find what i needed. finally found the bookmark bit, but it had been fully overwritten :(, so on reading about previous ff versions, found the sqlite thingys, and they were relatively unscathed(partly written over, but saveable apparently TG), saved them to adiff drive, amongst other possibly good folders. Then looked up how to install them, and it said to close FF, and install to profile folder.
So i tried to close FF, and the original problem from a few days ago, where it asked me if 'i was sure i wanted to close this window as it has X tabs open', popped up again. This is where 'open blank page' selection was set, over 'open previous tabs'. Wanting to save that info on how to sort out these friggin files, I reset the Option to 'open previous tabs', and closed FF. After unsucessfully searching for the profile folder on my laptop, i opened FF intending to search online for where i could find said folder.
AND BANG, surprise surprise, the FF I had just closed with only tabs open about finding out what the heck to do, had disappeared, and instead my original saved tabs were up, and my bookmarks are there..... I am gobsmacked! what the heck just happened there???
I have made 3 back up in different folders now, of those friggin bookmarks. I am weary now tho of shutting it all down.... what if its back to the other pages I had with no bookmarks, tomorrow :( -
Upgraded to 3.6.6 and no sites loaded, error in proxy server. Internet explorer will not load either. Reloaded firefox 3.6.3 and sites load fine, but internet explorer still will not load. I was only able to connect to yahoo messenger when websites were not loading.

My google calendar will not load it says that is being redirected and will never complete. I have done what was requested and it still will not work?
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

Some sites load fine. But some sites will not load when linked from another web site, or, occasionally, even from my bookmarks. I went through troubleshooting routine--cleared cache and cookies, history, checked in Safe Mode for extensions, etc., but still will not work in Safe Mode. No other problems with computer or browser.
What happens when you click the link that does not open up the new page? Is it a blank page? Does this also happen if you Shift Click the link?

All of a sudden it will not load my gmail. Restarted my computer, cleaned up history still not working on gmail. recently updated Firefox a few days ago, but I have not had trouble until today with loading gmail. Worked earlier.
The problems are getting worse. I think I will have to give up on Firefox and go with the Google browser. No problems with IE just firefox and I can't take it anymore.

When I try to start my Garageband 6.05,I get a repetitive message that the core audio midi will not start. If I choose to ignore it, report it or reopen it, it just keeps coming up and garage will not load or start up? Any suggestions? THanks
I'm just guessing at this point, but I suspect that you have installed a midi driver on your computer for some external device, and, since GarageBand's midi capabilities are limited in some ways, chances are your audio/midi driver is asking GarageBand to do something more than it's made to do, causing core audio's midi function to crash.
If that's the case, you might want to try adjusting your midi device's driver settings, or uninstalling your midi device's driver, and then see if GarageBand starts up normally without it. -

I have recently upgraded my mac and ipad to IOS7 and find that Safari will not load onto my iPad. It just shuts down the app. Any ideas? I have been onto Mac who took me through a very long iPad robot, but the problem is still the same! Help appreciated
Do you mean that you did a soft-reset ?
Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data and also Clear History
If that doesn't fix it then try closing Safari via the iPad's multitaskingbar and see if it works when you re-open it :double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag the Safari app's 'screen' up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
After trying the above you could also do a soft-reset (even if this is what you've already done it might be worth trying after clearing Safari's cache and closing the app via the taskbar) : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
When I load my home page, the items MOVIES THEATER and my STOCK QUOTES will not load. If I try to make ANY changes to my home page it changes from my.msn.com changes to my.msn.com/x and nothing will happen.
