Will only print one page of four page document

I have an HP LaserJet M1212nf and it will only print the first page of a four page document. I tried to check the preview settings and inserted "pages 1 to 4" and print "all", but neither works. What to do?

I see that you are experiencing issues printing a multiple page document. I will certainly do my best to help you.
From the application your printing from, go to File, Print, Number of copies select 2. Uncheck Collate. You can now change the number of copies. Collate should now stay unchecked.
Try printing the multiple page document again.
You might have to disable all the startup items, to see if there is another program causing this issue.
How to use MSCONFIG. Click on the Startup tab and disable all.
Test the printer.
Then go back in and enable all from the Startup tab.
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor if you are still having issues. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
What applications have you tried?
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet)
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)
What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.
Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.

I recently acquired a second hand Laserjet 2100 Series. Installation was fine but it will only print one page at a time, I have to keep pressing the 'Go' button, which is very frustrating. The manual tells me that it is in 'Manual' mode but not how to change it. Can anyone help, please? O/S Windows 7. Thank you.

Appleworks will only print one page at a time, please help!

hi there ~
no matter how many times I ask the printer to print ALL pages, it will only print one at a time, so I have to manually print page 18, 17, etc....
Could this be because the pages are arranged left to right? that would seem strange.
also, I cannot find a function to re-arrange the pages. for example, i want to re-organize to make page 18 at the front as page 1. I just don't get it though I've searched the program.

My memory says the same as Yvan's.
If the printer dialogue has a checkbox labeled "Collate", make sure the box is checked, even if you are printing a single copy. If memory serves, this suggestion was made in connection with HP printers.
A second possible solution is to specify the page range when printing this document (or others that exhibit this problem). (eg. for a 25 page document specify printing From page 1 To page 25.) You might try specifying p. 1 to p. 99 for any document under 100 pages, although I don't know what effect this would have for a 5 page doc.

Designjet T520 will only print one page.

Hi, Brand new Windows 8 HP PC printing to a Designjet T520, will only print one page.I have met this problem on laserjets in the past and resolved it by enabling/disabling mopier mode.However none of the drivers I have tried (many) for the Designjet T520 have the option to turn on or off Mopier Mode. After many hours spent troubleshooting, I formatted and installed the Windows 8 machine again from scratch.Even with this brand new install on a bran new PC, I still cannot print multiple copies to the designjet. In the same office, 3 other Windows 8 machines are printing fine to the same plotter and can print mutliple copies. The driver versions are the same on all machines. Hope someone can help.Thanks.

Are you using Bluetooth or USB cable to connect to the printer? Did you install from the disc, or from the online program? When it sits there and doesn't print, does it eventually give error messages, lights flashing, etc.?

For further assistance, I require some additional information:
The Product/Model Number of your printer. Follow instructions in this link. Finding Your HP Product Model Number.
If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, Ethernet, or USB.
If the printer is able to make copies.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.

Some questions for you: What happens when you try print multiple copies? Copying Documents.Do you see any error messages on the front panel of the printer when it stops printing? Does the paper get stuck inside the printer? What happens if you print from NotePad?

Hello, I have exactly the same problem. I could have written the same text. And I have'nt found solutions. Except, perhaps, change this printer (and quit HP?).

I've encountered this at a client. It caused some issues in that the client was having an un-related problem. I chalked it up to an incompatibility since it was on the server and 64-bit so didn't really pay too much mind to it personally.

Text file will only print one set of input and puts in end for name.

Okay, I have this more or less straightened out. Only thing is, it creates the text file, and will only enter one set of data. It will not print the other students information to the text file. The other thing it does is puts in the student name as end. I think that has something to do with the fact that I need to compare the student name field (SName) to end, so the program can be ended. Anyone have some ideas? I have been working on this for almost 2 weeks, and am about ready to throw the computer off a cliff..

Hi Im now using Windows 7 Word 2010 and since then I can only ever print one copy of my document no matter how many I ask for. Has this happened to anyone else. I have tried using a newer printer in the hopes it was a printer communication problem
but still only printing one document. Was fine using XP but not this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. In business its very frustrating to have to keep going into the print section and ask repeatedly to print for a letter to get the
copies I need.

Have the same problem with windows xp and Word 2007 and Excel.
I fixed the problem with disabling advanced printing feature on printing preference->Advanced->advanced printing features.
This was with a kyocera 3820 laserprinter. hopes it helps u

Express will only print one job

Just bought a Samsung ML-2240 today. Hooked it up to my AirPort Express (the old one, not the type-n one) and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up and print my first page.
However, after a print job finishes the AirPort Express locks up, or something, and will not print any more jobs until it has been restarted. Nor will it play music over AirTunes. It continues, however, to be recognised in the AirPort Admin Utility and the light remains green.
Any ideas? A driver issue seems most likely to me.

I have the same problem - I have a Samsung CLX-2160N printer and every time I print via Airport Express, the first document works but then I need to reboot the Airport to print the next document. After the first one has printed, if I check in Airport Utility, it says no printers are connected. It's not that the printer has fallen asleep - it just printed something a minute ago!
As soon as I reboot the AE, it prints the next document then stops.
I replaced my old B/G AE with a new N one, in case there was a bug in the old one but I have the same problem. I even tried a different printer - still the same problem!
Apple REALLY need to look at this because it is a right pain. In the Time Capsule forum, it seems people have EXACTLY the same problem with its wireless printing too.

Network printer will only print one time

the printer ( HP Laserjet CM2320 MFP) (Driver PCL 6)is networked on a print server running server 2012, the computer operating system is Win 7 fully updated, other people can print to it without issue.
the user can print to it one time. after the first print, you can no longer right click and chose printer preferences or printer properties. Then she needs to log out of the computer and back in to print again. if i have tried to open the printer properties,
they will open just before the computer logs out. this is the only printer she has.
things i have tried are removing and re installing the printer, uninstalling the all the print drivers on the computer, using the most updated drivers on the server and the computer. i also went into Printer Properties, ports tab, unchecked Enable bidirectional
support on both server and PC. checked after each change. also under the advanced tab i unchecked the Enable advanced printing features. both server and PC. checked after each change. when i tried to un-install the print drivers on the PC, i needed to rename
the reg keys because they were in use, remove the drivers and rename the reg keys back to the right name. i am sure i forgot some things i have tried, but if you need any other information let me know.
Any help would be appreciated!
