Will OSB support JmsAdapter

As the latest OSB 10.3.1 supports FileAdapter/AqAdapter/DBAdapter, will future release suppport JmsAdapter?
I tried to deploy JmsAdapter.rar from SOA Suite 10.3.4 to OSB 10.3.1.
I was able to create Business Service base on WSDL of JmsAdapter to MQ generated in JDev.
But failed if it's to AQ.
Still working why AQ failed.
The major reason we want JmsAdapter to be support is because artifacts such as WSDL files can be reused.
Thank you in advance.
-Simon

Thanks James, we have setup a "bridge" to AQ with the package you provided.
We also tried to use AQ Adapter in OSB but failed.
The reason we found is because AQ Adapter only support Raw or Object message type queue/topic.
But we are using AQ_JMS_Text_Message type.

  • Will OSB supports using schema definition at runtime ?

    Here is the SOAP response defined in the WSDL.
    <s:element name="XXRatesResponse">
         <s:complexType>
              <s:sequence>
                   <s:element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1" name="XXRatesResult">
                        <s:complexType>
                             <s:sequence>
                             <s:element ref="s:schema"/>
                             <s:any/>
                             </s:sequence>
                        </s:complexType>
                   </s:element>
              </s:sequence>
         </s:complexType>
    </s:element>
    This schema definition is working fine in SOAPUI. But when I try to create a Business Service using the WSDL in OSB 10gR3, it returns
    "*The invocation resulted in an error: Not Found.* "
    Our question is
    1. Will OSB supports runtime schema definitions?
    2. Any tweak can be done to support this?
    3. Will this is supported in 11g ?

    The invocation resulted in an error: Not Found. This error comes when Business Service is able to contact the destination server but not able to find the resources defined by the URL.
    Check the endpoint of the busienss service.
    Further, like Anuj mentioned, if you are able to create a Business Service out of the WSDL it means that the WSDL is validated and supported. The fact that you are getting an invocation error means that the Business Service is getting executed but not able to call the destination service.

  • Does OSB support XQuery import module feature ?

    In OSB version 11.1 and Oracle Weblogic Server Version: 10.3.6.0
    I need to create library of XQuery functions (reusable components), to achieve this, I need to use XQuery import module feature.
    When I tried to use it, I got this error message ‘Module feature not supported (sorry)’ …
    Does OSB support XQuery import module feature ?

    You may like to refer Eric's blogpost -

    Basically, if you are not using a parameter in XQuery then it will not be registered.

  • BPEL registry integration cache capability?ESB or OSB support WS-Addressing

    Hi ,
    I have few questions related to Oracle SOA Suite.
    Please suugest me
    1) How to handle BPEL dehydration in high volume operations?
    2) Memory overload of ESB in high volume operations?
    3) BPEL registry integration - cache capability?
    4) How Oracle ESB or OSB support WS-Addressing?
    Suggestions or docs reference will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Sachin

    Hi,
    There's a lot of performance info in the SOA Suite Best Practices Guide. More specifically see chapter 2.17 and 10 of http://download.oracle.com/technology/tech/soa/soa_best_practices_1013x_drop3.pdf.
    For correlation between OSB and BPEL using WS-Addressing see http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13159_01/osb/docs10gr3/bpelpmtransport/transport.html.

  • OSB Support for Polymorphic Webservices

    Hi,
    I am in process of evaluating OSB for being used as corporate ESB. As part of evaluation I need to confirm if OSB supports polymorphic webservices.
    As of now I am doubful for this support. If it is supported, I will really appreciate if someone can provide some example or direct me where I can get more details.

    OSB does not support drive/media multiplexing and I'm not aware of any plans for this.
    In a proper environment the systems you're backing up are able to push the drive to the limit so there is no requirement to do this. It's more of a legacy option to support old hardware which is too slow.
    Most people are moving towards VTL environments now where you can just add as many tape drives as you need.
    Thanks
    Rich

    I am in the same boat. I tried repeatedly to contact iTunes support, but was told each time that I had contacted the wrong deaprtment and they could not help me. There must be a way to still be able to use the iTunes store without paying for a system update. If not, I hope they will reimburse me the money I have in my acount.

  • I just upgraded to Lion 10.7.2 and it says that it will not support Power PC programs so my 2008 version of Mac Office and Intuit Quickbooks are blanked out.  I need these programs.  How do I proceed?

    I just upgraded to Lion 10.7.2 and it says that it will not support Power PC programs and has blanked out my 2008 version of MS Office for Mac and Intuit's Quickbooks.  How do I proceed to get these programs back?

    Upgrade to newer versions compatible with Lion or downgrade to Snow Leopard:
    Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
    1.  Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button.  When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
    2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  SMART info will not be reported  on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
    4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
    This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.
    If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups, do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.  If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion files.

    While it is against the TOU of these boards to speculate on future products/updates what Thomas said is right: FCPX is quite a new product and it doesn't make any sense to drop it now.
    The only thing that MIGHT get dropped at a certain point is support for older hardware/OS as FCP X progresses.

    We'll know when it happens, Lucht - software companies don't make support promises in advance.

  • Had to buy NEW HP due to Lexmark will not support Leopard

    I purchased a new HP PSC7280 due to the fact that LEXMARK tech support sent me an email stating that they will not support LEOPARD on my printer and X9350 (top of the line consumer product for lexmark) even though they state on their website they should have a supported driver out in March of 2008. First, I can't wait six months to be able to print. Second, they did this with the printer I had before and when the printer driver was released it was just the printer driver no scanning or faxing support. Had to buy a new printer then. Third I think I remember something that the new OSX Leopard was announced and developers had free copies made available back at WWDC so Lexmark evidentially does not want to support Macintosh... By the way the Hewlett Packard PSC 7280 works seamlessly with no problems for printing, scanning, or faxing and it does it wirelessly... (Better than Lexmark ever did for me)

    I have had the same problem...can't even print on my x9350 using bonjour. How hard is it to keep up to date with a driver? I am not impressed with Lexmark - when I first bought the printer, I couldn't even order supplies for it. I think they are a bit disorganized. Next time, I am buying HP - the last HP I had lasted 8 years. And for the cost of the consumables, its not that big a deal to switch. Too bad - nice printer.

  • Will itune support window 8.1 pro

    Dear Sir/Madam
      I recently upgrade my laptop software from window 7 to window 8. I warn to update to the window 8.1, will itune support it ?
    Thank you

    However, currently iTunes does not even open on Windows 8.1 Pro.  Many people are having problems and Apple has yet to acknowledge this issue.  Apple always takes forever to admit that their software is broken.

  • I have an early apple tv. Will it support netflix streaming? Also what is the size of the newest apple tv's hard drive? And, will my current apple tv be able to use the icloud services?

    I have an early apple tv. Will it support netflix streaming? Netflix does not show on the internet tab on the AppleTV display.
    Will my current appletv connect to icloud services, synch, etc.?
    Also, what is the size of the current appleTV's hard drive?

    1. No to NetFlix and ATV1
    2. If you mean your ATV1, no.
    3. If you mean your ATV1, there are more than one hard drive size.  If you mean the new ATV2, it doesn't have a hard drive.

    It is not clear what you are asking. You can install Windows 7 on Macbook Pro using Boot Camp Assistant. Follow the linked to instructions. All Windows programs will work just as they would on  a Windows PC with similar specs as your Macbook Pro.

  • Will OSX support Adaptec PCI Express scsi cards in an early 2008 Mac Pro?

    I need to move my scsi interface scanner from a G4 machine and the old PCI Adaptec AHA 2930 CU card won't fit.  I was using Snow Leopard on the G4 unit - it still supported the Adaptec card and all was good.  My 23" Cinema display then bit the dust and I replaced it with with a 24" Cinema display with the mini display port connector.  I purchased an adapter from Kanex to make it compatible, but the adapter was defective - so I returned it.  Their reviews aren't very good - seem to have a lot of D.O.A. adapters - not sure I want to deal with the frustration, but it would be the least expensive option.
    I do have, however, an early 2008 Mac Pro that I can use, provided that it supports the newer PCI Express scsi cards that Adaptec makes.  I'm not sure which one to get yet, either.  I'd rather not buy one and find out it won't work.  I can make a partition on the boot drive for Snow Leopard in case scsi isn't supported in later versions of OSX.  In case you're wondering, I did use a scsi to firewire adapter to run the scanner on my laptop for a while - but it stopped working and I can't locate any replacements (or the company - 2nd Wave Technologies - for that matter).  I haven't tried locating a scsi to usb adapter, but from what I can see, they are getting pretty scarce.  I'd replace the scanner, but it is fairly pricey and the newest model retails at the price of a small car - so that really isn't an option at this point.
    Thanks in advance for any info.

    Changed name of display adapter manufacturer.

    Thanks for the response - I guess the question I should have asked is "Will OSX support scsi cards in an early 2008 Mac Pro and if so, which ones?"  I didn't realize Apple and Adaptec weren't working together - my G4 tower arrived with an Adaptec card in it when I bought it in 2000 (from a third party vendor, not directly from Apple).  It came with either OS 8.* or OS 9.  When I updated to OSX, everything continued working, so I didn't think much about it until I pondered using the Mac Pro for the scanner - at some point the G4 is going to stop working - need to have a solution before that happens.  The manuals I've been reading refer to the slots in the G4 machines as PCI.  The manual for the Mac Pro refers to the slots as PCI e.  These slots have fewer connectors, so I thought that the "Express" part of the name referred to this particular card configuration when compared to the longer card connectors in the G4 type of machines.
    Can you tell me what scsi card brands will work in the Mac Pro?  I'd still like to pursue this option.  As I mentioned in my original post, buying a new scanner isn't in the cards right now - it costs more than the computer, so, although pricey, the card option is still less expensive.
    Thanks!

  • When Flash Builder 4.6 for PHP is released will it support AIR 3.2 ???

    We've all been waiting a long time since last November's Private Beta of Flash Builder 4.6 which was released shortly thereafter, for the Flash Builder 4.6 for PHP version.
    However, Flash Builder 4.6 for PHP (The one with Zend Studio included in it) is scheduled for 2012 - Q1 release, meaning?
    I guess, at the latest March 31st.
    This is significant, because AIR 3.2 is Great, but it will Live or Die based on what happens, I believe, in the next year, the new demo with the 2 geniuses at Adobe, Lee Brimelow and Thibault Imbert, which essentially ARE the driving intellectual force behind AIR, make me feel more comfortable than the management at Adobe,
    http://tv.adobe.com/watch/adc-presents/hardware-accelerated-graphics-for-mobile-games-with -adobe-air-32/
    So, when FB 4.6 for PHP is released, will it support AIR 3.2?
    There's another thing, there are a ton of job offerings for iOS 5 or Android Java, but no AIR (very few and the damage control fromthe eff'ed up press release is still meandering).
    Adobe needs to compliment its consumer base and developer base, with a Developer Network for Corporate integration so there are contracts out there for us who live between our dream ideas and meals, by doing contracting work, and it'd be nice to do it in Flash Builder 4.6 instead of taking on an iOS 5 or Android Java or PhoneGap project.  At least for Gamers.
    REPORTS: Social Gaming will be a $5B industry by 2015. The total mobile market will be a $15B industry by 2015.
    I'm shooting for the Social Gaming, and I like what I see in the above video.
    But again, people have to pay bills, why doesn't Adobe reach our to Corporations for certified developers like Mickysoft and Apple?

    I worked it out in the end - I had to uninstall FB4.5 and reboot. Why couldn't the installation say so instead of just crashing? I found this out, by the way, by trying to run the installer created under c:\program files(x86)\adobe\adobe flash builder 4.6. That one told me at least that I had to uninstall a previous version, though even then it was coy about which one
