Heya i jus bought an iPod nano and im wondering if the $20 psp case would work without scratching my iPod.

yea well there is a case that ships with PSP and its black....yea the case is really big but Apple should learn from Sony and make something that is identical to this but with the dimensions of the ipod nano....all im asking is will it work?

Hi there! I haven't posted for a while...
I really want an iPod Touch, and have been doing my research online...one of the main complains that keeps coming up is that the iPod Touch doesn't have a volume button. I have a 1st gen iPod Nano, and for that I have an FM receiver (Apple brand, not some cheapo junk). If I can use that with a Touch, then there would be no problem, but the new iPod receiver box doesn't mention that it works with the Touch. If anyone has tried it and could tell me, that would be awesome.
Just one last thing...I also read that people were having problems with the colour black on their screens, that it appeared all shimmery. Has a patch come through for that, or has it been fixed?

- No, Apple's iPod Radio Remote does not work with iPod touch. Look for compatible devices on the online Apple Store.
- I don't think a patch can solve it, but the screen problem was only in the beginning, I don't think it's still an issue.

Will IPOD 4th generation Charger work with IPOD Nano

My son has a 4th generation IPOD (20GB) which came with the standard IPOD charger. My wife has just bought an IPOD Nano (4GB). I just want to check whether I can use my son's charger to charge my wife's IPOD Nano. I don't want to risk damaging my wife's IPOD Nano in case the IPOD and IPOD Nano are rated differently and require different chargers.

Will yamaha MCR 040 work with Ipod nano sixth generation?

im looking to buy an ipod touch but im going to buy a slightly older version 2nd or 3rd generation but i dont wether most apps (especially games) are gonna work or have a lag and how to avoid that because it seems that the new IOS dont work so well with the older ipod.

You'll have to look at the requirements for each App in the app to determine whether or not it will still work with a 2G iPod Touch, which can only be updated to iOS 4.2.1.
Several apps have already been updated to require iOS 5 or later, which can be installed on a 3G iPod Touch.
So in my opinion, it would be much more effective to purchase a 3G iPod Touch instead.

1G Touch cases also won't work with the 2G Touch that was just released. The case is a slightly different shape and there's a volume control on the side that would be covered by a 1G case.
The way power is supplied to the Touch through the dock connector changed as well.

The cable that came with the iPhone should charge any iPod with a 30 pin connection. I charge my nano with the iPhone dock/cable.

Should work. It may not if the old charger is USB and the new iPod requires that the data lines be set to a specific configuration and the old charger doesn't do that (many older iPod chargers only hook up the two power lines and not the two data lines). It will not damage the iPod to try it and see. At worse it will do nothing at all.
Same if the old charger is a Firewire model. It might work, it might not work, it won't damage it to try it.

You can do an out-of-warranty replacement at an Apple Store for a fee, get a 3rd party site to repair it, sell it for parts, or get a new one.
