Will Siri map/traffic features ever be available in the UK?

I've got an iPhone 4S and was wondering whether anyone knew if map and traffic services would ever be available to use in the UK using Siri?

Depends on what the contracts look like with Google and Verizon...
There is some exclusivity to the OS updates for Droid that Verizon will have first crack at...meaning that for example the 2.0 OS was first given to Verizon's Droid device and other Android phones still have 1.6 and 2.0 won't be available to the other devices until December...
Future OS updates will also be released on Verizon Android phones first before they goto other devices...
So...it could be possible that the new work done by Google for the Maps is a Verizon only perk from their new partnership...

Does anyone know if the iOS 7 update will ever be available on the iPod touch 4? And is iOS 7 even worth getting? I've read some articles about kind of getting iOS 7 by jailbreaking, etc but I don't want to do that. Some people are also saying that it will be available, is this true? I currently have iOS 6.1.5. As Apple said in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod.
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB

Why will siri maps not come over car radio?

I cannot get siri to talk over my car radio for the maps feature. The only way I can hear her is if I have the auxiliary (mp3 or iPod) selected. Is there a setting on the phone or maybe on my car that I don't know about. I have a 2012 Hyundai Tucson.

Will previous purchases for TV shows be available in the UK soon?

Right, as you probably know, with iTunes 10.5 you can re-obtain Music, Apps, Books and TV Shows for free if you have lost them.
However, the ability to re-obtain TV shows is not available in the UK (amongst other places). Is it just not available yet, or will it never be available?
Re-obtaining apps was alway a possibility as it assumed it was just an update, I think iBooks were fine to get again and music used to cost moey to get again. When I heard Apple's previous purchases announcement ages ago, I was really eager as I assumed it would mean I could get back the many TV episodes that I bought and downloaded on my iPod, then had to delete for space before syncing (the computer said it wasn't the right computer's library (which was true, I had had to wipe the PC as it had gained several critical viruses)). I bought the episodes about 2 years ago, so was over the moon when I heard I may be able to get them back without paying again, however Apple seem to have dashed my dreams
So, as I asked above, will previous TV purchases be available on the UK iTunes store soon/ever?

Personally I did not notice the fact that I could not redownload my purchases again - something which I think will have to be made more clear in the future with the new digital download laws coming in...

Maybe it was made clear when I made my purchases???, but my assumption was that I own the download, and if still available on the apple servers I should be able to redownload it again - maybe I am stupid for assuming this!! DRM at the best of times is hard to transfer/backup content so how is a non-techy supposed to do it?

Apple doesn't pre-announce such things and we aren't allowed to speculate in the public forums.

Will Customize or Winterboard apps ever be available for non-hacked iPhones

I've seen hacked phones that have Cyndia on them with apps like Customize and Summerboard / Winterboard which allows the background screen and icons to be changed to themes. I think that is so cool. I'm sure Apple knows about this. Will they allow it into the app store or incorporate it into a new software upgrade?

i ran into this "similar" tpe of problem with my car when i added a cold air intake to it and a few other minor mods to gain gas mileage... i had an issue with an ABS sensor i believe it was and had to bring it into the dealer - still under warranty. after they poked around for a bit... they called me and specifically asked me if the problem started after i added the mods?!? ... they were fishing for an excuse to not repair it under warranty but here is the deal...
the dealer has to PROVE that the modification on the car directly caused the failure; otherwise, if it would normally be a repair covered by warranty they have to fix it under the warranty?!?! this doesn't apply to leased vehicles because you can't modify them or you bought it.
so my issue here with the iphone is Apple should be required to PROVE that these 3rd party apps are causing problems with the phones before they out right say they will not cover them because even if you get into a snag you can restore through itunes and get the phone back to normal when you bought it... only problem is you better have backed it up!!

Which Features are Only Available on the Driver

Browsing through the forums, I've found out that the nice Audio Console is only found on the driver CD and not available to download. Are there any other features that can't be downloaded? I personally don't like this implementation because I like installing all my drivers in one go if possible, especially after a reformat, instead of installing old drivers off the CD and then having to update. Thanks everyone

Then don't install the drivers on the cd. Download the latest, install them, don't reboot, run the cd and select Custom install and only install the parts you want, and uncheck the drivers. Or does that make too much sense?

You are just loading Metadata file ,so it wont touch the rule file.But please check the changed metadata file and rule conditions are matching.

Will a bookmark feature ever be added?

Will a bookmark feature ever be added to the ipod? I read on here previously that there was some glitch in the OS on the Ipod that would not make this possible. Every mp3 player I have ever seen at least remembers the last song played.
After a synch, the Ipod loses this. Very annoying. If it can't remember the last song, could it at least remember the album or place on a playlist? I have done computer programming, doesn't sound like this would be too difficult to implement.

I receive many audio files that are around 20 minutes each. I may be able to remember which one I was on, but it's a real pain to have to fast forward to the point I left off.
Don't sync? What's the point of having a music player if I can't add to it?

Apple has stated that Siri will be availble in iOS 6 only on the new iPad and the iPhone 4S. The iPad 2 reportedly lacks a special noise-cancelling circuit present only in those devices, so while none of us here can say with certainty, it would appear unlikely that Siri will ever be available on the older devices.
