I had to do a clean install(G-5 PPC OS 10.5) to get the machine running..
I have a external HD that is NOW locked.(lock on HD icon??) My problems started when I try to give all of my HOME Macs access to all machines on the home network.
The G-5 went nuts and I guess corrupted the OS. I got the G-5 back up. I still CANNOT get into the locked external HD.
It is set to CUSTOM access in the get info window. NOTHING can change these settings????
I really need to get the files from this HD! It is my back up file! I back all of my files...and now I cannot get them!

No, it is iDVD that has a 99 slide limitation.
There are many ways to produce slide shows using iPhoto, iMovie or iDVD and some limit the number of photos you can use (iDVD has a 99 chapter (slide) limitation).
If what you want is what I want, namely to be able to use high resolution photos (even 300 dpi tiff files), to pan and zoom individual photos, use a variety of transitions, to add and edit music or commentary, place text exactly where you want it, and to end up with a DVD that looks good on both your Mac and a TV - in other words end up with and end result that does not look like an old fashioned slide show from a projector - you may be interested in how I do it. You don't have to do it my way, but the following may be food for thought!
Firstly you need proper software to assemble the photos, decide on the duration of each, the transitions you want to use, and how to pan and zoom individual photos where required, and add proper titles. For this I use Photo to Movie. You can read about what it can do on their website:

Neither of these are freeware, but are worth the investment if you are going to do a lot of slide shows. Read about them in detail, then decide which one you feel is best suited to your needs.
Once you have timed and arranged and manipulated the photos to your liking in Photo to Movie, it exports the file to iMovie as a DV stream. You can add music in Photo to Movie, but I prefer doing this in iMovie where it is easier to edit. You can now further edit the slide show in iMovie just as you would a movie, including adding other video clips, then send it to iDVD 7, or Toast, for burning.
You will be pleasantly surprised at how professional the results can be!

What happens when you to try to buy it ? If you have a balance on your account then that should be automatically used, you can't/don't need to specify how it's charged. -

When you connect the iPhone to sync with the new computer, a number of things will happen. If the new computer/iTunes does not contain any music, then yes, you will receive a prompt saying this iPhone is synced to another library, and if you continue, you will lose your music. However, you risk losing a number of other things, such as apps, contacts and calendar data. When you ask about photos, any photos that you have on the iPhone that were synced from the previous computer would also be lost. You need to save the photo folder from the old laptop and transfer that to the new desktop. You also need to sync the contacts and calendar to the same supported application that you were using in the past, such as Outlook, unless you are using an outside web-based sync, such as Google. Also, when you first connect the iPhone, it will make a backup, or at least make sure that it does before you attempt to sync, or you will not have a backup of some of the other things, such as mail settings, SMS, and the contents of the Camera Roll. I would import the photos from the camera roll to the new computer before trying to do anything else in iTunes.

To restore the MacBook Pro to factory settings:
1. Make a backup of your files because everything will be erased.
2. Insert the Snow Leopard disc and press the C key while your Mac is starting to start from the DVD.
3. Go to Utilities menu > Disk Utility, select Macintosh HD on the sidebar, go to Erase tab and erase the disk.
4. Close Disk Utility and install Mac OS X -

Are you choosing a different plan before tapping Done?
To downgrade, you should be doing the following:
Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
Tap Change Storage Plan.
Tap Downgrade Options and enter your Apple ID password.
Choose a different plan to use when your current storage plan expires.

Go to the open dialog in Pages and select iCloud.
Click on the folder that you created on iCloud to open the folder.
On the lower half of the window (the open folder) click on the name of the folder.
Once you click and select the folder's name it should be editable. -

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

No. A CDMA iPhone can only be used on the CDMA carrier it was originally sold for. IF the GSM side is unlocked, as in the case of the Verizon iPhone 5, it can be used on any compatible GSM carrier. It can not be used on a different CDMA carrier.

I am almost about to give up hope with this. I have posted FOUR questions with no answers, so someone please answer this one.
My iPhone 3GS has never been jailbroken. A couple of months ago now, the bottom half of my iPhone screen became unresponsive so I thought I would try to restore it to see if it would make it alright again. Worst mistake of my life. It is now stuck in recovery mode and will not come out, for anything. I have had various different error messages, i've tried everything. All the software programs, holding home and power and whatever else. Nothing. When trying to restore it, it will come to the last part of the bar and fail. Every single time. I really could do with some help on this one. I have a 1GB ipod i bought a year ago, the software that came with it was itunes and it worked good. I could see a list of all the songs on my ipod in itunes when i connected it. then:
My niece got an ipod shuffle for christmas and she wanted me to charge it and put songs on it for her. The itunes told me i needed a newer version so i downloaded that and installed it. Now, when i plug in MY ipod, i cannot see my songs. also, it erases my ipod when i plug it in and puts her songs on it. then, when i put my songs back in it and later plug in hers, it erases her songs and fills it with mine. It is driving me crazy. can someone please help me figure out why i cannot see my songs on my ipod but i CAN see the songs on hers? And how do i stop this infernal software from erasing the ipods? But it is possible to insert a graphic into a PS document (in this case a menu) that is larger than the image/layer size. I just put such a graphic (a simple rectangle 15 x 10,000 pixels). You only see the layer size (1920x1080), but if I drag that graphic to a 500x10,500 document, you can see that the whole graphic was in a layer in the EN menu.
I don't know how to find the size of a graphic element that is larger than the PS document nor how to see whether a graphic extends beyond the document.
Do you recall adding something that might have been large? Let's see if someone can tell us. (Or you can ask in the PS forum) If nothing else, I would reconstruct the menu and pay careful attention to what I am adding.
I have not experienced this error and cannot guarantee that this is your problem.
