as the title states.... i think it will, but if anyone knows or has a logical idea, let me know. thanks.

The 2nd Gen Nano does only work with Apples universal dock.
For this product, you will find an adapter.
If you (like me) have purchased a Nano (1st Gen) dock - aka the small dock without audio/video/ir - then the 2nd Gen Nano does NOT fit in. The connector is slightly shifted and due to the round edges, you cannot insert it.

Not really.
Technically, with some USB drives (I've had a 50% success rate) you can import photos or videos off the drive - thi those photos or video follow a very strict naming convention.
But you cannot import anything but photos or video and there is zero support to write off the iPad to the flash drive....so while it technically may work, it's so limited to effectively not work.

If you have a little Firewire adaptor, everything should work fine. It does on my system.

Your car charger and the video component cables for your 3G should continue to work. The reason some of the car chargers that worked with the first generation iPhone didn't work with the iPhone 3G is Apple removed the firewire pins from the dock connector with the iPhone 3G. A number of car chargers charged via firewire, not USB. The first generation iPhone supports charging via firewire, which is not supported with the iPhone 3G, and will no longer be supported with any future iPhone or iPod models.

I just bought an ipad mini with retina display. I dropped it and cracked the screen up just a few days after buying it. I did not get the protection plan. Could I buy a replacement screen for the 1st gen mini and it work? I can't seem to find replacement screens labeled for retina display and I don't wanna pay apple $220 to fix it

Replacing 1st Gen dock connector with 3rd Gen dock connector?

The dock connector on my 1st Gen iPod Touch has stopped working, and i have an old 3rd Gen iPod Touch lying around that appears to be broken beyond repair. Provided that a simple cleaning will not clear up the problem, will swapping the 3rd Gen's dock connector for the 1st Gen's be possible?
Since the male end of the cord is universal throughout models, i am assuming that the only problem might be to get the thing to fit.
But if any other potential problems may exist it would be helpful to know about them, before i take this thing apart.
I don't intend on spending any money on this iPod, as i am getting an iPhone as soon as possible. This is simply meant to be a temporary fix since i have no other portable music player at the moment.

The screws appear to be in the same place however, and the 3rd gen metal housing appears more compact than the 1st gen housing.
So there may be a spacing issue if you are trying to put the 1st gen into the 3rd gen, but not the other way around.
A potenial problem would be with the connections to the logic board. It would be helpful if anyone knows the specifics. Maybe i'll look up the company etched into the housing.

Edit: Actually, i have no clue what is holding the 1st gen's connector on. In the place of screws it appears they have some sort of pins. That may prove to be an issue

I'm not sure about the 2007 mini, but a quick check is to open your system preferences and look for Bluetooth preferences. If there aren't any, then no magic mouse for you...

The 10W charger will work on all of Apple's iDevices. It will charge your Mini faster.
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Firefox will work with any mouse and keyboard that your computer supports. However, if your computer will not support the mouse or keyboard. Let's say it's a Windows 7 Computer and the mouse was only tested up to Windows XP and is a USB mouse then there may be a case where your mouse will not work. Firefox will never not work with a mouse and keyboard. Remember thoe, if it's a USB Mouse and Keyboard and it says that it's compatible up to Windows XP it will not work on Windows 7 or if it does work it may not work well.

Do you mean the Bretford PowerSync cart or tray for iPads and iPods? If so, Bretford's web site lists only Mac OS X. You'll have to contact Bretford and ask if there's a workaround for Windows, or any plans to add Windows compatibility.

Yep - just go to the System Preferences and choose display and hit 'detect display' which will give you 1080x and other TV resolution options (assuming you have a modern LCD or similar).
You should then be able to select 50 or 60 hz.
