Will the HDMI adapter for the Ipad serve as an output AND an input?
I do a lot of video productions and could use an extra moniter on site. The camera I use has an HDMI out, and I noticed there is an HDMI adapter for the Ipad. Would the Ipad recieve/display the signal being sent from my camera? If not, is there another way?
The Apple Digital AV Adapter only output to TV. It cannot be tethered to a camera.

How do you watch netflix from your macbook to your hdtv
Have you selected the appropriate input from the TVs perspective using the TV remote? If that isn't enough, check the settings in System Preferences > Displays, and if you don't have sound, System Preferences > Sound.

Is there a Digital AV HDMI Adapter for the iPad 2(30pin) that works with iOS8?
Is there a Digital AV HDMI Adapter for the iPad 2(30pin) that works with iOS8? I had one that connected my Ipad2 to my tv so I can stream netflix on a TV that does not have the internet. As soon as I updated my iPad to iOS8 it no longer works Help!
You can speak & make notes. Get Dragon Dictation app.

The hdmi adapter no longer works, and I tried it on different tv, different hdmi cables, apple's adapter still don't work. My iOS is 5.1 by the way. HDMI cables work fine for other devices, connect it to my computer, works fine, connect it to dvd player works fine. So what is going APPLE? I splashed out SGD59 for this handy adapter, and it no longer works after a month!!!

Hi yes, I've turned my new iPad off and turn it back on again, along with my Tv, still did not work
No. Meg was referring to a reset:
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc. -
Heading to Sri Lanka - do I need a voltage converter or just the plug adapter for my Ipad?
To recharge my IPAD do I need a voltage converter or just an outlet plug adapter? The print on the plug that came with the IPAD is so small I can't read it!
Just the plug adapter, as the power brick itself can go from 100-240 VAC, 50-60Hz. I'd take a spare charger and cable, just in case.

May the HDMI adapter be the cause of freezing on the TV?
I have my iPad 4 connected to the TV by using a lightning to HDMI adapter and noticed that sometimes the content being displayed on the TV freezes for a few seconds while the iPad is displaying it normally, so they all of a sudden get desynchronized until the TV finally catches up to the iPad.
I was actually thinking that has to do with the HDMI adapter due to all the transcoding involved which is done by this little device that is more like a mini computer. In fact, I read in some other discussion out there that Apple was going to improve the performance of this device through firmware updates, which would supposedly be in the next iOS versions.
I know this may not sound like a big deal, but I'm actually using the iPad for business purposes so it's very important that the content being displayed on the TV does not freeze.
BTW, the content being relayed from the iPad to the TV is an app called Boxtastic, and the specific content that freezing is a countdown timer.
With that being said, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
Thank you so much in advance, and sorry if this sounds like a dummy question (I'm kinda nubbie in this video world).
Best!I guess if I were to switch over to a 4:3 TV, another issue will be that there's no HDMI port on the TV...
I guess Apple is really trying to be funny....
Lucky I didn't purchase the $148 Apple TV... I paid $68 for the adapter.
Guess I will have to write-in to Apple and ask them either to fix this issue or let me get a refund for this adapter.... -
The wall adapter for the palm pre charger
can the wall adapter for charging the palm pre also be used with an ipod touch charge cord? both are usb ends that can plug into the wall adapter
Standard warning label caveat: You CAN use these chargers interchangeably as long as both devices use micro USB technology, and not mini USB. (Basically don't force the charger in the charging port.) However, it is recommended that you only use chargers and equipment designed for and that came with your device.

Can someone tell me why they discontinued the HDMI dock for the Excite 7.7?
I planned to order the dock today for the AT270 (Excite 7.7). After seeing in on the Toshiba Direct website for a couple of weeks, I went on today to order it and there was no longer a link for it (Funny though the google search still finds it).
Called Toshiba and after 20 minutes on the phone and pressuring a very non committal rep, he finally stated that they have discontinued the dock.
It's been out for a few weeks and already discontinued? Given that the Excite 7.7 does not have MHL support, how exactly am I supposed to connect my $500 paperweight to my tv?
I bought this tablet with the intent of using it to put presentations up on a tv (like my $250 Samsung Tab 7 does...) and now they discontinue the hardware that supports it?
Time to return it. Too bad really, excellent tablet otherwise. If you are going to return it, why doesn't really matter. If you bought it with HDMI via the dock as an importatn use case, you should return it if you can.
There could be bunches of reasons why they dropped it. It didn't work. The tablet didn't work with it. It had compliance problems. They didn't think there would be enough demand to justify costs of bringing it to the market. And on and on.
Likely nobody who posts here is going to know. -
Can I use the same adapter for my ipad mini w/ retina display as I use for my iphone 4S?
I have an iPad mini with retina display and an iPhone 4S. Have both the small and large adapters (5W and 12W I believe) that came with the two products. I am traveling abroad and want to know if I can just use the smaller adapter (little cube-shaped one, 5W) for both the ipad and the iphone. OR, can I forgo taking the Apple adapters that were supplied, and instead use one of the travel adapters that has two 2.1-Amp USB ports?
You can use the 5W to charge the iPhone, but if it charges the iPad Mini Retina, it will be slow, so you would have to turn it off and let it sit forever to get charged. If you were going to take just one, take the 12 W on as you can use it to charge both devices without issue.
I would recommend getting the Apple travel adapters if you are going abroad. The 12W adapter should have a duck head you can pop off and put the international adaptation on there. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB974ZM/B/apple-world-travel-adapter-kit -

Hi, I can't seem to easily find this info. What is the actual HDMI standard used on a very late 2012 MacMini 6,2 with i7 and 4000 graphics?
I understand it can support up to 1920x1200 ... What standard is that? ... And will an HDMI to Display Port cable supply that resolution? Thanks -JeffMaybe:

What does the AC Adapter for the WD My Cloud Look Like?
I have the WD My Cloud 3TB Part Number: WDBCTL0030HWT-00 I unplugged all my network equipment and went back to plug them in once everything was rearranged. But I have 2 AC to DC adapters that use the same plug, so I don't know which one is the right one. I personally think it is stupid not to put a WD logo on the AC adapter due to situations like this. But I usually mark these myself. I suppose I was in too much of a hurry to get it online to mark it this time. Nevertheless, I have two adapters, both produce 12 volts. I does 1.5A and the other does 1A. The one that outputs 12V & 1.5A is by Ktec: Model KSAS0241200150HU The one that outputs 12V & 1A is by Leader Electronics, Inc.: Model MT12-Y120100-A1 Anyone know which is the correct one? One (the 1.5A) would hang down from the wall socket while the other one (1A) shoots off to the side of it.
Hello,
The power adapter specs are:
12 Volts
1.5 Amps
18 Watts
Take a look a these links:

How do I use the charging adapter for the UK
I just received an HTC Droid rental for use in the UK next week. I'm confused about the charging adapters that came with it. Do I just plug the United States USB charger into the UK wall adapter and that's how one uses it?
Ok. Thank you

Will MX record work for the incoming mail flow and external mail flow.
Hello All,
I have created 2 machines with windows 2008 R2 workgroup and installed Forefront TMG 2010
I am using the VIP for the external adapter for the NLB and going to connect it through the MX record will it work for the incoming mail flow to the Exchange 2010 and external mail flow.
Is that right what i am doing please suggest. Thanks in Advance!
Sidharth Guntoji,Messaging Consultant, ITBigBang (P) Ltd Www.ITBigBang.Com | Hire Us for Messaging ConsultingHi,
Based on my experience, the MX record contains the fully qualified domain name of the messaging server that’s responsible for accepting messages for the domain.
Do you want to configure the TMG server as a secure SMTP relay server? Did you mean that the external DNS server point to TMG’s external IP for the MX rcord and the internal Exchange server is using TMG’s internal IP address as the default gateway? Did you
install any exchange role on the TMG server?
I am sorry to say that I am not quite sure of your deployment, I would appreciate it if you can share your network topology and configuration.
Best regards,
Susie
