Will the iPad 3rd generation have siri on it in the future
I am thinking about getting the ipad 3 but so far it only has siri dictation so does anyone know if it may come in a later update?
We are just fellow users on here, we won't know anything until if/when Apple announce something.

My iPad 3rd generation does not let me name a document. Where the books say it should have "my documents" there is only "documents" or a + symbol, neither of them allowing my ability to name or rename. All my documents are titled "blank".
Uh - never mind. I figured it out - the "documents" section (still no "my documents, file, or save as ) has a choice of date or name and when I changed that section I was allowed to rename. Don't know why all the references and guides use "my documents" and mine doesn't but as long as it works.......

Ever since downloading the latest version of iTunes, my iPad (3rd generation) keeps appearing in the browser as if it's still connected. I eject it (even though I don't physically have it connected in any way). But it keeps reappearing every time I open iTunes. Is anyone else having this problem?
Do you have Sync over wifi enabled for this device?
Click on the device name, Scroll down the summary page to options and the second box is Sync Via Wifi. If you do not want this uncheck it and click apply -

Where is the Personal Hotspot option on iPad 3rd generation
Dear all,
I have an iPad 3rd generation 64GB (Wifi+Cellular). It seems that the Personal Hotspot option is not existed!!
Note: My iPhone 4S is on the same cellular data plan (unlimited) with the same carrier provider and I am able to use & share the Personal Hotspot on it.

Correct. Carriers sometimes support personal hotspot on the phone but not on the iPad. I think AT&T does this. -

Using camera accessory, I have imported photos to my iPad 3rd generation. By mistake I have imported multiple copies of same photos. Now if I want to delete additional copies I can't. It gives me only one option "Delete everywhere" instead of delete one by one, so that I can keep one copy of that photo.
Is there a way to delete additional copies of a photo and keeping only one?The links below have instructions for deleting photos.

Why am I told to turn off airplay on my iPad (3rd generation) when it does not even HAVE airplay according to iOS7 specs?
I have the same problem with my device specially with the NFL App and after maybe 2hrs of research I found out that Verizon has implemented that messege/restriction to keep the app "TRUE" mobile only. What I'm saying is that you won't get the NFL App to play no matter what you do if connected to HDMI adapter or AirPlay. I hope this helps more than the other/previous post. My Ipad (3rd generation) will not back up to iCloud
My iPad (3rd generation) has not backed up since Sept. 14. I have the latest iOS 8.1.3. It starts but ends abruptly. Any suggestions?
Howdy gigi40,
If I understand you correctly you can tap the "Back Up Now" and it appears to start, but it then stops and nothing happens. I would start by quitting the Settings app on your phone:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

As I stated in the title, I purchased an ipad (3rd generation), and I am having trouble with itunes downloads. Mistakenly when I purchased a television series I selected download the entire series to my ipad. Is there a way to stop this download and change the download location to either my laptop or into the cloud?
Did you try tapping on the download to bring up a pause status? You can finish the download on the computer in iTunes. You may be able to delete the download by swiping across the progress bar of the download after you finish the download on the computer.
Launch iTunes on your computer and go to Store>Check for available downloads. Finish the download in iTunes and then try to delete the download from the iPad. -

As for the Apple Smart Cover, it does work with the new iPad. There are a few reported issues with it, but that doesn't come close to representing the totality of folks with it. -
