Will the iPad get a CF card adapter sometime?

The SD card adapter is cool if you have a normal digital camera, but SLR cameras usually have a CF card so is it best to get the USB adapter or will there be a CF adapter later on?

When you buy the camera kit, it comes with both the USB and SD card connectors. for a DSLR camera, you can just plug the camera into the USB connector.
You could also buy a SD to CF adapter for your camera, like this one:

And use an SD card. I personally wold just plug the camera into the iPad

The Apple Maps is a foundation app that links/integrates to the other Apple apps and services running on your IPAD as required (ie Find my IPAD). It cannot be removed and so it is always working for you.
I also find the Apple maps satisfactory for my needs.

It's probably due to the RAM and processor limitations.

It beats me how all those brand new factory-sealed objects became refurbished in an instant. Would've thought it would involve some sort of physical refurbishment process applied. I would since it is more global than Verizon. AT&T works in more than 200 countries worldwide. Also talk to AT&T about an International Data Plan for it so your wireless statement will not be as high without it.

While the iOS updates aren't designed to erase your information, it is always a good idea to back up your information just in case the process doesn't go too smoothly. Will the iPad Mini connect Via WiFi to a LinkSys Wireless G Braodband Router?
The model is WRT54G V5, SN CDFBOE865514 and Firmware is the latest 1.02.8 dated 5 Oct 2009
My wife's iPad 2 connects to it well but we have been unable to connect the new iPad Mini to it.
I have read in some of your notes that the Mini will only connect to Firmware 1.02.8n.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

HT201441 How will the device get connected to the internet if it's locked and is wifi only?

My daughter left her purse in a fitting room briefly and once she realized this, it was gone. In her purse was her iPad mini wifi only. I am curious how would the iPad get connected to the internet if it is locked? I have find my iPhone activated and since it is a iOS 7 device I put in lost mode and set it to display my phone # and a message for a reward. I am guessing it would have to be wiped clean somehow and re activated to be signed into to get hooked to the internet. Am I on the right track that once this is done and it gets connected to the internet the device will display this message? Any comments will help thank you.

Thank you for your imput Winston. But how is the IPad going to connect when you physically have to put in the wifi password for the wifi? I guess the iPad would be able to access a unsecured wifi? I also read what I believe is conflicting with your statement about iOS 7 that you can send the remote erase and still be able to track? She's going to need to update and at some point restore the iPad which requires a computer.
For vision problems she can enable zoom. Tap Settings / General / Accessibility.

i have an iPad 4 for over a year. Does the iPad get slower with the passage of time or because of small amount of available?

As with any piece of electronics, the more stuff you get on there, the more clutter and the more 'junk' (not meaning offensively, just junk as extra files, fragmented files, etc) that it has to run through.
If you think it's getting too slow, you can fully back it up, then reset your iPad back to factory settings (erase all content and settings) and then restore from that backup.
It's not impossible, just something to do carefully because if you haven't backed everything up correctly, you will lose it. (content and apps from iTunes can always be redownloaded but content made on your iPad can be deleted if not backed up)
I've had my iPad 2 for almost three years now and really haven't noticed a major decline in function. So unless you see something drastic, I really wouldn't worry about it.

The Apple store shows them shipping in 1 week for quite a while now. How is it that Best Buy has none of these for a long time now? I mean they are a retailer of Apple Products Right?
I think I will just sell my gift card and be done with them. It will much less of a headache to just buy from Apple.
