Our exchange infrastructure utilises a wildcard (*.companyname certificate) from Godaddy.
- Connects fine and authenticates
- Can manually sync and pull emails
- Can Send and Delete emails
However server is not establishing the activesync connection and ping so mail can be pushed to the device.
My guess is its a problem with the wildcard certificate that is used, WM5.0 devices didnt work with it, does anyone one know if the iPhone supports this?
- I can get to OWA fine which uses the same wildcard cert.
- WM6.0 devices push mail fine.

Does the iphone support the "crossfade" playback option?
I'm trying without success to find an option on my iphone that would let me turn on the "crossfade" playback option for my music. I love this feature on my ipod nano and the new Itunes, but I can't seem to find that feature on my iphone's ipod. Is it just not possible to do this on the iphone?

No. iOS 7.0.5 was an upgrade for the iPhone 5C and 5S, only in selected regions.

Group messaging simply puts all replies in one conversation in Messages. It doesn't prevent the behavior you experienced.
My suggestion which would be much easier in my opinion, is rather than do a text, send out an email and use bcc: , which will keep the audience hidden from each recipient.
Otherwise, if you're determinted to do only texts, the only way is to send your message to one person at a time. You can of course copy/paste your msg each time which might be helpful. -

I believe you will find you can again sync Photos if you delete the "iPod Photo Cache", but predict that any subsequent attempt will fail. In my case, the enxt sync removes all the photos again - I've seen other reports of error messages upon sync. Mine just fails silently. :-) -
The Iphone 4 patch IOS 7.6 is suppose to be a security update but it freezes the phone and doesn't reset. Help I need my phone. What makes the phone go back to normal? There is nothing but a simulated plug in wire and an ITunes icon on a black screen.

My Iphone 4 crashed yesterday after a restart and upload of OS 5.0, it will only partially sync. It's not transferring any of my music or ringtones. They still appear when I click open the sync screens on ITunes, but I don't seem to have an Ipod function and only one of my personalized ringtones transfers on the actual phone.

I have the iphone 4s and its updated (ios 6.1.1). I've always had my group messaging set to OFF. Everytime I send a text to multiple folks, I find out that they were able to see everyone elses responses to me. My boss told me this morning that she saw responses from my friends/family from a picture I sent yesterday. Is there ANYTHING that can be done about this? It's important to be able to send texts to multiple people. I have to update them alot on my husbands illness. Help!

I have an iPhone with iOS 7.1.1 and am trying to update to 7.1.2, but get an error message "iTunes could not back up the iPhone because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone"
Assuming you are using the current version of iTunes (11,2,2), open iTunes, click "Preferences" under the leftmost entry on iTunes' menu, then choose "Devices".
Find the iPhone's backup there, highlight it, and choose "Delete Backup". -

As stevejobsfan0123 stated the iPhone 4 is on the list of compatible devices.
You may want to look back and see though that the iPhone 3G was on the list of compatible devices for iOS 4, but many thought it was a bit too old to run it efficiently. I seem to recall similar complaints for the iPhone 3GS on iOS 6, so you might expect to see similar with iOS 7 on the iPhone 4. I would suggest that you wait until it's released and see how others feel it is performing before you jump to installing it... -
