Will the iPhone 3G and/or 2.0 software give push email for all email?
..instead of just MobileMe? I'd really like consistent push email for my gmail and yahoo! email accounts similar to the blackberry. Will I be getting this? I don't have a mobileme account nor desire to pay $90 for it.
Then if you don't want to pay for it, you are not going to get it.
Push requires the provider of the email service to give Push abilities. MobileMe allows you to tie it (which has Push) into your other accounts (that don't).
BTW, Yahoo does do push already (has since day 1 with 1st gen iPhones).
Google may one day knowing them.

No. No one can confirm. Wind Mobile is NOT a supported carrier. There is no reason to believe that the upcoming 5C or 5S will be any more compatible with Wind Mobile than the current 5 is.

Preordered the iPhone 4S and got the confirmation email within 1min.
I went to the VZW store at the mall today and i had a VZW rep help me preorder the iPhone 4S and it was actually a very easy process. well, all she did was do the preorder form like on here (verizonwireless site) and it well swell!
she also told me:
"Your iPhone has been setup and it is being processed right now, you should expect it to be delivered to your home on the 13th or 14th."
now with what she said about the 13th or the 14th, that got me really excited because of the second date for everyone getting the iPhone 4S is the 21st, hopefully i get it on the date it comes out.
within the first minute after the preorder form was done, i got my confirmation saying:
"Thank you for your order. It is being processed and you will receive notification once it has shipped."
and when i go to the order status on the vzw site, i see:
"We received your order and it is in process.
Expected Ship Date: 10/21/2011"
anybody else preorder their iPhone 4S today? What is your order status?There is a lot of confusion about all this on the forums of course and it's hard to sort out. VZW is keeping very tightlipped about when they will begin shipping orders and have only recently fixed the glitch on their store/order status page. It is highly possible that people will begin receiving the phones on the 14th since that is when it goes live on VZW's network. However, you did order yours somewhat late. If you ordered the 16GB model (which is in higher demand) then all sources say that you may not receive it until the 21st. If you ordered the 32 or 64GB model you might receive it earlier. My stance is that we should all just wait until Wed or Thurs when the shipment confirmation emails begin to go out. My personal opinion, and it's only an opinion, is that those who ordered within the first few hours of the pre-sale will begin receiving their shipments on the 14th as most of us have been told this by a VZW CSR. Again, though, they are keeping quiet about actual ship dates. "Epected ship date" means it could ship earlier or at the worst, later...

It sounds as if AT&T has already told you they can't do what you want. It doensn't sould like anything that's fixable on your end.

I have the iPhone 4S and I cannot get my apps to download. I will click free then install and then it will ask for my password. Once I enter my password correctly it will verify my password an then it won't do anything. what should I do?
I just went through this same process.... I changed my credit card, double checked billing info, changed my password, I restored my phone, but the misake I made was I kept restoring it from my back up.... Finally I went to Apple Store.. and sad to say that you have to do a restore, and DO NOT restore from back up.
I used Gmail so I didnt loose contacts or email.. but I did loose all my text messages and history of that.
So, I had the EXACT same problem and it was a software issue.. you have to restore your phone to factory settings and start all over.. BLOWS I know! -

My phone will not let me change the email address to be the same as my other devices, it tells me that email is already being used. How do I delete the iPhones iCloud account and reinstall it to match my other devices.
Yes it will, just sign out, then sign back in with the correct address.

I have poor/no service on my iphone 6 in places that I do have service on my old iphone 5. Takes 10 minutes to send text and webpages will not load but load within seconds on the iphone 5 and forget making a phone call. How do i resolve this issue??

I recently purchased the iPhone 5 and my itunes account on my iMac 7,1 will not recognize it as a device. My imac has stopped downloading new updates, it says it is up to date with iTunes 9.2.1. My imac will not run the newest 10.7 itunes either. All I want to do is put my music from itunes on my computer to my new phone. HELP please!!
i called apple and they are sending me snow leopard so i should, *fingers crossed, be able to run the newer version of itunes. we'll find out for sure in a few days when it arrives

i have the iphone 3gs and ive dropped it a few times. when i press the home and lock button, it will not turn on, but when i plug it in, it says in big font IOS 6 and when i slide it open it says connect to itunes or emergency call. it wont turn on when i plug it in to my pc. tips?

All you need is a physical plug adapter, not a voltage converter. All Apple chargers work on any voltage from 110 - 240 worldwide.
