Will the iPhone 5 have a keyboard

I would personal switch to iPhone from droid if it had an keyboard

If it's really that necessary: http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Bluetooth-Sliding-Keyboard-Rubberized/dp/B0052CHO S2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1324589869&sr=8-1
It's a bluetooth keyboard, so just setup the keyboard in Settings. It should charge via USB. Works with iPhone 4 and 4S.
I made the switch from a Droid 1 to the iPhone. It felt weird not having a keyboard but now it's just natural.

  • Will the iPhone 5 have the finger print scanner?

I recently bought an iPhone 5 not knowing that the 5s is coming out and I wanted to know if the iPhone 5 will have the finger print scanner on the next update.

A software update will not change the hardware in your phone.

  • Will the iphone 3gs have imessage?

Was just wondering if anyone knew if the Iphone 3GS will have imessage with the new IOS 5 update? and also what else will the 3GS get with the update as i know it won't have everything

My daughters use our old 3GS iPhones as glorified iPod Touches. They have both found in good Wi-Fi environments they can use Find a Friend App to iMessage to their friends that have iPhones or iPod Touches that have upgraded to iOS5. Once they have started iMessage, then they can continue conversations using the Text App, all using the unlimited character text of iMessage. Can NOT iMessage to a non-iPhone as they don't have SIM cards with phone numbers in these iPhone 3GS's.

  • What will the iPhone 5S have? When will it come out?

Just wondering when to get a new iPhone, what will the main upgrades be, etc.

As shldr2thewheel stated whatever has been released to the general public is what everybody else using these forums will know.
To keep up to date on the latest news on Apple news, reviews or product release information see the link below:
    http://www.apple.com/au/hotnews/
If it hasnt been stated on that website then no new information has been released therefor you would need to wait till an update for a new device has been made public.
    Hope this helps

  • Will the iPhone 3G have SMS capability?  If true, then I missed this...

Where can I find the documentation on what my wife's iPhone will get with the update. I pre-ordered my iPhone 3GS today, so we will see what happens on Friday.

    Hi,
I assume you really mean MMS. SMS has been available since the original iPhone was released. Note that that MMS relies on functionality provided by AT&T (in the USA) and as the note on the above page mentions:
"MMS support from AT&T coming in late summer."
which could well mean September, so don't expect it to be working when you get the phone.

  • Will the iphone 5 have better Bluetooth capability?

All current iPhones are very limited.  Specifically my car will notify me of new SMS and read SMS out loud with most smart phones but not with any iPhone because of their limited Bluetooth file transfer capability.  I've seen lots of posts complaining that phones from 2004 had better Bluetooth functionality.  Are Apple going to do anything to address this?  I'm guessing not.

I think it's pretty good now:

It does...  I saw a photo of the relevant slide that was put up during the iOS 6 announcement, but am too lazy to look for it now.
It's possible it may not have made it into the final release. Apple never made any statements about it as far as I know beyond the slide referenced.
Near the end of the iOS portion of the keynote, Apple showed a slide listing a host of other features included in the iOS 6 update. Among those were Game Center challenges, the ability to connect Game Center friends from Facebook, VoiceOver improvements, personal dictionary in iCloud (for adding your own terms to the dictionary, which can sync between devices), and per-account signatures in Mail. Also on the list was improved privacy, which—as a new option in Settings—will let you control which apps can access which bits of personal data, like your Contacts, Calendar, or Photos. Other features on the list included autocorrection for every keyboard,Bluetooth MAP support (which is commonly used to help cars better offer hands-free communication with Bluetooth devices), kernel ASLR (which aims to make data even more impervious to snooping from malicious attackers), custom vibrations for alerts, redesigned stores (for the App and iTunes stores), IPv6 support for Wi-Fi and LTE, word highlights for speak selection, improved keyboard layouts, alarms with songs, and faster JavaScript in Safari. Apple also says iOS 6 includes a global HTTP proxy option, which would supplant the current approach, limited as it is to per-connection proxy settings."

  • Does the iphone 4s have voice assisted gps navigation system when ion is downloaded to the phone?

does the iphone 4s have a voice assisted gps system when io6 is downloaded onto the phone?

The iPhone has NEVER had an International Warranty. The warranty terms state, quite clearly, that Apple "may" restrict warranty & support to the country of original purchase. The only exception, are iPhones purchased in the EU, where the iPhone warranty is EU wide.
You purchase an iPhone in Singapore, & you will have to return it to Singapore for all warranty & support issues.
For iPhones out of warranty, Apple has an out of warranty replacement program.

  • Does the iPhone 5 have Flash

Does the iPhone 5 Have Flash?

The Puffin browser, available in the app store for a few bucks runs flash via a workaround.  You can get a free trial version which will run flash for 14 days so you can see if it does what you need.  A side benefit of Puffin, is that it displays full web sites, not the mobile web sites.  This is very useful for some purposes such as banking options not available on mobile.  I got it for a trip I was taking, and still use it from time to time when a site doesn't display properly on Safari.

  • HT4528 Does the iphone 4 have a sim card tray, and if so where is it.

Does the iphone 4 have a sim card tray, and if so where

I you have an iPhone you have it ALL!
OK I think I can help you on this one, I think there is a missconception on the terminology, if the iPhone is from AT&T it does have a SIM card tray, you will find it on the left side of the iPhone. All you need is the key insert it in the little hole and it pops out.
If the iPhone 4 is from Verizon it DOES NOT have a sim card tray.
What the sales person told your sister is accurate, the iPhone does not have a slot for an SD card which is an "storage" card mainly used to store all sorts of data such as pictures, videos and more.
Locally the iphone has lots of storage capacity so your sister wont have the necesity of ever expanding her cellphone memory for the very reason of that she has the best cellular device in the market which is an IPHONE!
I don't think she will ever fill up her iphone's memory.
Here is what I found in effort to expand the differences between the SD card and SIM card
-Secure Digital (SD) is a non-volatile memory card format developed by Panasonic, SanDisk, and Toshiba for use in portable devices to store data.
-A subscriber identity module or subscriber identification module (SIM) is an integrated circuit that securely stores the international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) and the related key used to identify and authenticate subscribers on mobile telephony devices (such as mobile phones andcomputers).
I hope this helps your sister.

  • Will the iphone ever be available to a CDMA wireless network like Verizon

will the iphone 3g ever be opened up to more than gsm network, possibly verizon which uses cdma and carries a much larger 3g coverage area than at&t ever dreamed of? i welcome any opinions or hear say, but would love a possible official apple rep answer. thanks

HSPA which the iPhone 3G(S) has which will be leading to LTE, part of my reason to switch to the 3G(S) was because I read the 3G wont be supporting the 7.2 coming out next from AT&T. The phone has the capability but wont be able to "handle" it without consuming an extreme amount of power. AT&T will be boosting the 850Mhz band (the lower bands give way to better signal strength inside buildings) to 7.2 and from 7.2 to 21.
AT&T has already signaled its next two moves. It expects to jump to 21 Mbps after 7.2 Mbps, and has a fourth-generation (4G) standard called Long Term Evolution or (LTE) in the wings that promises 50 to 100 Mbps of raw speed. There’s no date for 21 HSPA, but AT&T plans to have trials of LTE in place by late 2010 and commercially available service in 2011
As for Verizon, I cant see Apple allowing Verizon to trash the phone with their crapware. I for one dont want some sort of red theme anything on my phone.
