Will the iPhone 5 have the finger print scanner?
I recently bought an iPhone 5 not knowing that the 5s is coming out and I wanted to know if the iPhone 5 will have the finger print scanner on the next update.
A software update will not change the hardware in your phone.

When I installe Firefox version 4 my finger print scanner quit working. Any fixes for this?
I downloaded and installed Fire Fox 4.0 a few weeks ago. As soon as I downloaded the new software, my finger print scanner quit working. The scanner light that normally appears when ever there is a request for entering a user name or password no longer turned on and the scanner was no longer functional. I removed the new Fire Fox version and re-installed version 3.6.17. My finger print scanner is now working again.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I've tried rescanning, different fingers, scanning different ways. But 95% of the time it just won't work. It is soooo frustring!! I would have saved a bunch of $ and bought a 5 or 5c if I wanted a phone that didn't fingerprint scan. has any one got advice that can help? It would be appreciated. I do work with my hands ( manual labour) but it's not like I tear up my fingers every day. Any help would be appreciated.
Peter.If any one is still reading this thread you would know that I've been having problems with my finger print scanner. Well it turns out that the issue is not with the 5s but with my fingers. My fingers are too big for the scanner, so if your having trouble with your scanner try using just the very tip of your finger. I did a lot of research on my issue and found nothing suggesting this. My brother had the idea that this might be the problem and turns out he was right. Since rescanning the tip of my finger I have 100% success rate and am very happy with my new phone. Thanks again for all the help I got from people on this issue.

It has been not more than 10 days since i bought iphone 5s 32gb and the finger print scanner is not detecting the prints.what to do??is it an issue with the device or iOS??
Standard practices:
Restart the device (power off completely, then back on) - retest.
Reset (hold sleep wake and home buttons until apple logo appears) - you can try this, but it is most useful when your device is frozen.
Restore to factory settings - retest.
Make an appointment at an Apple retail store genius bar if the above did not resolve the issue.

Also, how can I reconnect my iphone to my Apple ID?Do you mean that you removed the phone from the 'manage devices' section of your iTunes account ? If you do then that won't stop you being able to purchase items on your phone - you only need to be logged into an account to be able to purchase with it.

I have a Finger Print Reader on my Laptop and when I go to a logon screen it says this not a logon screen and will not allow me to use my Finger Print Reader to logon. When I use IE it works fine. It works perfectly on Internet Explorer and worked on Firefox before the last update so it's your problem. -

You can redownload most iTunes purchases directly to the iPod by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise you will have to sync from your iTunes library. -

I have my iPhone 4s plugged into a dock and the dock connected to an amplifier with 2 speakers and a bass, the problem is that the amplifier doesn't have a volume changer and when i plug in the iPhone into the dock the iPhone´s volume bar disappears and im not allowed to change the volume and its very loud. how can i change the volume? is there an app? any ideas??(my dock doesnt have infrared remote controller )

Apple does not repair devices beyond replacing the screen on some models or a battery replacement. They replace the ENTIRE device.
For the Out of Warranty replacement cost, you could have gotten a fully functional replacement device. Instead you chose to spend less to get only the screen replaced and continue to live with additional issues.
Apple will not touch the device now. They will know that it was opened elsewhere and that the replacement screen is not original. -
I have recently updated my phone and am attempting to sync it. I got the error message "iTunes could not back up the iPhone because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone". I deleted the backup, restarted my computer, and even restored the iPhone, but continue to get the same error message. What do I need to do now?
iTunes places the iPhone backup in the following location. Navigate there & delete everything in the backup folder, but not the folder itself. You will have to turn on "Show All Hidden Files & Folders" to see it:

I have the problem with my iPhone and my friends have this problem too.
My iPhone have the problem about calling and answer the call. When I use my iPhone to call I can't hear anything from my iPhone but the person that I call can answer it but when answer both of us can't hear anything and when I put my iPhone to my face the screen is still on and when I quit the phone application and open it again it will automatic call my recent call. And when my friends call me my iPhone didn't show anything even the missed call I'm only know that I missed the call from messages from carrier. Please check these problem I restored my iPhone for 4 time now in this week. I lived in Hatyai, Songkhla,Thailand and many people in my city have this problem.

The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$
