Will the iPhone 5S and C be compatible with Wind mobile

i saw the us and canadian tech specs for the 5s and c and they are the same. since tmobile is selling the new iphones i am assuming they will work on wind mobile network in canada. can someone confirm

No. No one can confirm. Wind Mobile is NOT a supported carrier. There is no reason to believe that the upcoming 5C or 5S will be any more compatible with Wind Mobile than the current 5 is.

will the airport devices and time capsule work with telstras mobile hotspot (Sierra Wireless AirCard® 753S Mobile Hotspot)??

Yes. There are 2 ways you could use these devices:
Wirelessly 'join' the network. This would be slower and doesn't offer extending functionality.
Use an Ethernet cable (through Powerline if you can't run a cable). This is faster and offers extending functionality. I would recommend using Bridge Mode if possible.

  • Will the iPhone 5c be abel for use with a Norvegian operator if I buy the phone in the US?

Will the iPhone 5c be abel for use with a Norvegian operator if I buy the phone in the US? Im going on a vacation to USA in a few days, and i dont know when the phone will come to norway, so if it's possible, i would like to buy it in the US! Is it then possible for me to use it in Norway when i get back with a Norvegian operator?

    Jules Francis,
The model numbers are different and each is carrier locked to their respective carriers.
Even if they were not, the £269 price in the UK includes VAT. The price without VAT is £228.94
The price in the U.S. Store does not include sales tax. Last time I checked sales tax in New York City is 8.375%.
If you compare the pre-tax prices the difference is approximately £24. The rest of the difference is taxes.
    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.

  • My wife got the iPhone 4s and when backed up with her old one the app store app

Got the new iPhone 4s and when backed up with my old one (one of the first) the app store & other apps disappear, can someone advise?

If they are pre-installed apps they cannot be deleted so they may have inadvertently moved it onto another screen or into a folder, Utilities appears to be a common folder so check to see if that has been created.  Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you if the apps are still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where they are. If you find them on one or your screens or in a folder, press the icon until it wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it.  I would also suggest you check restrictions, particularly as you mention the app store icon - Settings>General>Restrictions>Installing Apps & Deleting Apps>ON. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

  • When will the iPhone 6 be available to purchase through Virgin Mobile USA?

I want to upgrade as soon as possible, but unfortunately the iPhone 6 can only be purchased through Virgin Mobile in Canada and Australia so far. Does anyone have any idea when it'll be available here in the US?

You can pre-order it on Friday with a contract with AT&T, Sprint or Verizon and it will not cost you 700$, but remember that you are tied into that contract for 2 years and your phone will be locked to that carrier and you can't get it unlocked until your 2 year contract is up.

  • Will the iPad3 be adapted to be compatible with the european 4G

Will the iPad3 be adapted for a use with the 4G in europe?

I suspect not. 4G frequencies are carrier specific in the US. I am unaware of any iPad models specifically for any European carriers. From what I've read, 3G data will work in Europe, but I won't know for sure until my trip to Tuscany in the summer of 2013.

  • Just got the Iphone 6 and it paired BT with the car phone system okay.  But it will not pair with the audio part where I could play my recorded music with my 5-C.  The system will not connect with the phone and the message is that the settings

My toyota Seinna 2011 refuses to connect with my Iphone 6 as a "portable player".  Message says for me to adjust the player.  On the phone it is searching for other devices but not connecting.  Now same phone is paired with the car multimedia system and will take and make calls.  Help!

I very much doubt it  if you consider how much data Apple release to App developers
to allow them to create apps that  work under iOS
Audi being lazy like most of the other motor manufacturers
They will be registered developers and as such get all the info and data they need

  • Is the iPhone 3G's dock connector compatible with the 3GS?

A few days ago, my iPhone 3GS stopped charging. After some research I've determined this is due to a faulty dock connector. I'm out of warranty so I can't get a replacement from Apple, and I don't want to purchase a new phone since a new iPhone is rumored to be announced as early as next month. I've been using my brother's old iPhone 3G in the meantime, but now I'm wondering if I can just take the dock connector out of the 3G and put it into the 3GS. Does anyone know if this will work? If they aren't compatible, I noticed that Amazon sells some cheap third party dock connectors. Reviews suggest that people have had varying experiences with them. Does anyone have a recommendation for an inexpensive third party connector?

yes it is same with iphone4 and 4s

  • Can I just buy the Iphone itself and activate it later with AT&T

Hi can I just buy the Iphone 4 for the meantime. I'm still under contract with T-mobile for 4 more months. Once the contract is done then I'll sign up with AT&T.

I'm with DaVBMan and Allan. I mean sure you can buy an iPhone without immediately signing up with AT&T but expect to pay around $700-$800 for the phone if you go this route. If you plan to go with AT&T right after your T-Mobile contract is up, you'll pay only $200-$300 (depends if you buy 16gb or 32gb) for the phone, so just wait for four months and buy that time, you should be able to get an iPhone with ease.
    Hope this helps!

  • Will the Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse work with my iMac G5?

My Dad just sent me his old iMac G5 17". and I was wondering if the Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse will work with it!? I don't really have a place to put the computer.. so I was hoping to get the wireless mouse and keyboard so I don't have to be connected to the computer.

I have the most recent (2 AA batteries, not 3) wireless keyboard and magic mouse running on a PowerMac G5. Your iMac G5 has the same class of processor, which isn't Intel. My Mac has built-in bluetooth support, which is what these products use. I'm unsure if your iMac has bluetooth built-in or not, but if it doesn't, you can purchase the Belkin bluetooth USB dongle. That has been widely reported to work just fine within OSX.
Anyway, yes, your iMac G5 can run the wireless keyboard and mouse. You just might have to work a little for it.
    Good luck!

  • Will the iPhone 3G and/or 2.0 software give push email for all email?

..instead of just MobileMe? I'd really like consistent push email for my gmail and yahoo! email accounts similar to the blackberry. Will I be getting this? I don't have a mobileme account nor desire to pay $90 for it.

Then if you don't want to pay for it, you are not going to get it.
Push requires the provider of the email service to give Push abilities. MobileMe allows you to tie it (which has Push) into your other accounts (that don't).
BTW, Yahoo does do push already (has since day 1 with 1st gen iPhones).
Google may one day knowing them.

  • Some of the apps in your itunes library were not installed on the iphone because they are not compatible with this iphone

I've just spent 2 hours before work last night, and another 3 since getting back, trying to figure out why iPhone 3G syncs kept dropping my Skype and Shazam apps.
    Performed 3 full time-consuming restores.
Then every other bit of online advice I could find.
Clicking "reset warnings" finally revealed this ( image included )
I had always trusted iTunes to know *** phone I had . . but I guess not.
Then a chat with a Skype agent reveals they don't support older versions . .  or my 3G phone without iSO.4 !

To answer that question you would have to ask those companies.
To get around the issue, you could always install the older versions of those apps that do support iOS4, if you still have them or can find them.

  • I have the iPhone 5C and have question about he Nike IPOD app. It keeps telling me to move around to set up the sensor to start timing my workout. I went on a 20 minute walk and it still did not set the sensor. Help is needed.

I have the IPHONE 5C and am having trouble with the app Nike + IPOD.  I go to timed workouts and select 20 minutes and the select playlist and it give me the workout section to start my timed workout.  It will say walk around to activate your sensor.  Well, I walked 20 minutes last nigth & it it still was telling me to activate my sensor.  I was able to still enjoy listening to the music I have on this phone, but frustrated with this silly voice telling me to walk around to activate my sensor.
Have anyone out there had this frustrating problem.??

I used to use an iPod Touch and the sensor on my non-Nike running shoes. I bought a little key pouch that fastened to my laces and stuck it in there. It worked find.
However, with an iPhone, you don't need a sensor. Download the Nike+ Running app from the App Store (or Runmeter or Endomondo or Runtastic). The phone has built in GPS and an accelerometer. It doesn't need the foot sensor like the iPod Touch. You can use any shoes you want. Or no shoes!
