Will the iPod Touch be able to connect to a 64 bit Windows Vista?

Hey Guys,
I am looking at buying a new laptop and am contemplating whether I should get the 64 bit version of Vista. I really want to since it will let me take advantage of more memory.
However, I have been reading that the iPod touch is not compatible with the 64bit version of Windows Vista? Is this still true?

You should really go for a Mac; a far superior OS, but can also install Windows if you need it:

Only fairly recently has Apple released iTunes for Vista 64bit so if you're reading articles more than a few months old they may be reporting that. You will probably need to update to SP1 though:

    Likely the Nook charger does not provide enough power to charge the iPod with the screen on. You can try leaving the charger connected overnight (iPod sleeping) and see if it is charged in the morning.

    Chances are the 2g itouch will not be included in the update. Also no one yet knows if it will be fixed in the next firmware but apple has said they know of this bug.

    I doubt it.
    All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory. The 4G only has 256 MB
    iOS 6.1.4 was only for the iphone 5 to correct a problem on that device only.

    6.1.3: latest version of iOS 6 for all devices (except iPhone 5)
    6.1.4  latest version of iOS 6 for the iPhone 5
    After that Apple released the beta of iOS 7 and then the final (7.0)
    I wouldn't expect anything.

    Apple has not announced any new iPod models, and until they do none of us here, who are all fellow users, will have any idea. In the past, any new models of the iPod touch were announced in the fall, but whether Apple will continue this pattern or indeed if they have plans for any future new iPod touch models at all is unknown. We'll just have to wait and see.
