Will the iStat menu meters show all 8 CPU's

My dual core 2007 Mac Pro was taken by a burglar. The 2.93 8 core Mac is ordered and am wondering if the iStat menu meters will show each 8 core processor in the menu? Any help will be appreciated.

"When you are using Mac OS X 10.5.6 or later on an Intel processor
with "Core i7" technology, the operating system will automatically
enable a processor feature named Simultaneous Multithreading (also
called "Hyper-Threading Technology" by Intel).
With this feature, each CPU core will support a second hardware
thread, simulating twice the number of virtual processors. Mac OS X
Leoapard does not and cannot distinguish between real and virtual
cores, so your machine is basically running as a 16-core system.
The virtual cores only reach 15-30% of the performance of "full"
processors, however.
Hardware Monitor correctly reflects this. The true and the logical
numbers of cores will be shown in the System Information window (cmd+4)
of Hardware Monitor."
Why not Activity Monitor? You've seen these oft forgot CPU gauges in AM, haven't you? I admit I was surprised. This is with 17 apps open, including PS4 and AfterEffects:

Close the videos app and launch it again.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
if they still don't show up after you launch the app again, try resetting the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Here are two "Menu" add-ons which alter the Menu bar into one button.
With this one you can move the new "Menu" button into the Customize Palette, and then when you hit the '''Alt''' key the "Menu will open down from the Titlebar on the left. Won't affect the action of the Firefox button when you de-select the Menu Bar.<br />

Trying to sync audiobooks, that are listed in music by hitting "get info" and trying under options to pick audiobooks. The dropdown menu only shows books, and they will not sync to my IPad

Trying to sync audio books to my ipad. I downloaded audiobooks to my itunes on my computer, but the only thing that shows up is books. It will not sync to my iPad. They are listed under music and when I hit "get info" and options, the only option it gives me is books.

Hide content type from the new menu but show in edit form

SharePoint Online, I have following 4 site content types Word Document Excel document PowerPoint document General document
These content types are being used in a document library and "Word Document" is the default content type, When user clicks on "new" menu, all 4 content types are shown.
I don't want to show "General document" in the new menu but I want to show in edit form, I have marked it hidden in the library settings but now it is not visible in the edit form.
Any idea how can I hide content type from the new button but show in edit form?

Whether you use SharePoint online 2013.
If we hide the content type in the library settings, the content type will not be displayed in both new menu and edit form.
To accomplish your qequirement, we need to use css code:

perhaps your environment is different with mine, you need to make a little change to the code.

Double click Bookmarks button to open the Library window directly ("Show All Bookmarks" function)

I have a number of folders in bookmarks, and I edit it frequently by clicking "Show All Bookmarks" and opening a Library.
Previously, after clicking Bookmarks button, "Show All Bookmarks" appeared on top of the list, and now it's at the bottom.
Please, add double click function on Bookmarks button so that it opens Library window directly.

When I try to bookmark a page the dropdown menu only shows 4 of my many bookmark folders.

I have a heck of a lot of bookmark folders. These show up in the dropdown menu when I click on Bookmarks in the toolbar. However just today when I try to bookmark a web page, I only am given offered four folders in which to file the bookmark. Clicking on "choose" doesn't show any folders at all that I've created. Same thing when I open MF in safe mode with addons not enabled.
If I click on "Bookmarks menu" in the bookmark window then click on the arrow to chose a file, I see an odd assortment of random bookmarks and files.
To complicate matters, perhaps: This morning Firefox went crazy. Details don't matter now. I followed instructions in MF support and saved critical files. Then uninstalled and reinstalled a new copy of MF. Created a new profile and moved critical files into it.
Am I missing a file? Is something corrupted? (How would I find it?) Why would MF not see my folders when asked to file a bookmark?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

HT1338 Lost all of my 4950 pics! My daughter said they were in the wrong file and threw them in the trash. It shows all thumbnails for photos but nothing? We can't seem to retrieve them? Anyone know how? THX

I'm not sure what to post in? So here goes. I'm a photographer and had 4950 pics edited and store on my mac. My daughter was setting up photo shop and she took iphoto and put it in the trash by accident. We tried retrieving it and nothing! It shows that all of the pics all still in iphoto and the thumbnails are there but no pics? Anyone know how to put these back? It took me over a year to edit these! I'm really freaking out! HELP PLEASE!!!!! THX

First locate the file with the name: iPhoto Library
Search on your Mac for it if need be using the Find command in the File menu.
When you find this file, hold down the control key and click on it, select Show Package Contents.
Look for a folder called Originals or Masters. That folder has the original photos.
The folder called Previews has the edited photos.
If your iPhoto database is damaged, you might in the worst case have to manually re-import these photos into a new library, but that's only a last resort. Don't move or change anything in the iPhoto Library for now.
If you found this iPhoto Library file, then you still have your actual photos. Now don't touch those photos or move anything. Close up the iPhoto Library window. Put the iPhoto Library back in your Pictures folder. Run iPhoto and hold down the option key. Select that iPhoto Library when requested to select the iPhoto Library. If that doesn't work, select "other" and navigate to that iPhoto Library and select it.
Let follks here know which of the above steps worked and which (if any) did not.

APS metrics page not showing all CPU's

I have installed BO 4.0 SP02 patch 11. I have seperated the CR
Scheduling service as a seperate job server form AJS.
My CR jobs are running fine however, I have 8 CPU on that machine but
in matrics page of Job server, it is showing
only 4 CPU. Why it is not showing all the 8 CPU?
does it mean that its limited to work for 4 CPU only.

Would it be possible that you have in fact 4 CPUs which are all dual cores?
So it's like you have 8 CPUs but in reality it's only 4 CPUs?

My menu toolbar shows icons with a text to the right of the icon describing it. How do I change the settings so that just the icons show. I'm pretty sure it can be done as I've set my desktop for icons only.

Package Body in the tree doesn't show all procedures

I am using Sql Developer 1.0.0.14.67 on Win XP Professional,
DB servers Oracle 9i on both Linux Red HAt and Win XP Professional
I have troubles with one of packages - in the tree under Package Body SQL Developer doesn't show all procedures of this package body.
On the right panel all package body source is shown, but in the tree under Package Body it shows names of only procedures up to certain line in the source code - up to line where first Private (not included in Package Spec) procedure code starts.
BUT, there are more Public procedures in package body below this Private procedure - and all of procedures below first private are not included in the tree under Package Body

I find this quite annoying. I cannot use the navigation panel on the left to find the location of all functions and procedures in the package body. The 'missing' procedures are listed under the package spec, and double clicking on them takes me to the spec and not the body.
I'm running v1.2.1.32.13. Is this a know issue and is there a fix planned?

After automatically updating when I turned on the computer, Firefox erased all my History from the end of September until the update yesterday; how can I get back all the searches in my Show All History?
