Ok, I know technology changes faster than the blink of an eye... I can live with that.
I just brought a Photo iPod and happily I thought I would be on the cutting edge for, oh, I don't know maybe a month or so. Wrong.
Apple introduces the Nano. Still, no problem, it's a great product.
What really "twist my panties in a knot" is the iPod software update. It completely ignores any owners of iPod technology prior to the Nano release.
I wrote to Apple shortly after purchasing my iPod asking if there was a way to secure pod files. After all some of us have vital address and records stored there. Valid request, right?
So, the new software release includes a feature to secure the pod but... we'll you see what I'm getting at. The release completely ignores us semi-older iPod users. What gives Apple? Are you totally ageist?
I'm not asking for anything free or impossible (or am I?)
I just want know that as a devotee to Apple products I'm not being completely "dissed."
After all, these Apple products aren't cheap, but, you already know that.

Doreen these things happen when I got my 4G iPod the photo came out 2 weeks later for pretty much similar money did I expect Apple to upgrade me to a photo? nope because technology moves on doesnt it, it could always be worse imagine those who spent money on G4 iMacs only for the G5 to appear soon afterwards OUCH!!!
I honestly think Apple owners get more upset by product changes because we constantly keep our eye on the companys products, when I had my first Memory Stick walkman about 6 years ago I had no idea what new Sony products came out same with my PC I bought it 6 years ago and could care less about what Packard Bell brought out, yet everyday I check Apple sites for the slightest news or upgrades.
Cult of Mac indeed.

Read some benchmarks in the Internet > http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-750M.90245.0.html They will tell you how games would work with this GPU, but note that this may change depending on your screen resolution, GPU drivers...
In general, you shouldn't have any problem with that GPU to run games in medium-high settings. Be careful with the MacBook temperature, as it may get hot quickly

I used to be upset that the firmware for the Touch was promised, delayed, promised, and then DEAD SILENCE. The anger is basically gone and I have resigned myself to the fact that it is most probably never coming. So, instead of looking for the firmware, leprechauns, and unicorns, I have quietly come to the conclusion that the Zen Sleek is now Creative's replacement for the Zen Touch. In reading about the Sleek on different web sites, that is the conclusion I believe to be reality. If I am wrong, I will certainly apologize. I just think that Touch owners are now left with players that have advanced as far and as fast as they are going to go. But, I would be very pleased to be wrong.

Will the new mac mini run FCP X well?

I currently use a mid 2009 17 inch Unibody MacBook Pro (3.06 Ghz intel core 2 duo, 8GB Ram, and upgraded 1TB SSD hardrive) and have experienced some lag when rendering projects while editing in FCP X. The SSD harddrive upgrade has proved increase of overall performance tremendously. However, I want more power.

You'll get less problems if you move your Events and Projects off of the system drive and on to a secondary drive, to start with. Get a FW800 drive (I've been happy with on-the-go drives from Other World Computing for years), move all Events and Proejcts to it.
Mac Mini? Only if you get it with 16GB RAM and the Fussion Drive (which no one has really tested for video editing yet, so I'd be cautious. Better would be the SSD drive internally and a T'bolt drive for your Events and Projects.
But, I've not seen an reliable, verifiable reports about how it holds up to real world editing. I personally won't touch anything until I see real world benchmarks for video editing specifically.

After I updated to ios5 my calendar did not bring in dates and when I began re-entering dates after one or two it froze up and after I got it going again it will not populate an end time on the same date and will not save the appointment as a consequence.

After I updated my Ipad2 to IOS5 my calendar lost all appointments. After re-entering a couple of appointments it froze. After getting it going again, the calendar will not populate an end date for the current day and consequently I can't save the appointment. Is this a common problem as I have just purchased this ipad and the calendar function is very important to me.

Hmm... It looks like they are gone forever now then. I can't think of any other way of getting them back apart from restoring from an iTunes or iCloud backup. Somebody else might be able to help but I think they're gone forever. I don't know why they were wiped from your iPod but it could be something to do with security. In the future I would recommend syncing to iTunes or iCloud to prevent it from happening again. You can always make a reservation at the Genius Bar and see what those guys can do because it seems that they are still there, they are just 'hidden' from view. http://concierge.apple.com/reservation/gb/en/techsupport/

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If the changes have been applied and output as a final file, then yes. But if you're just editing the file in Lightroom and you haven't saved the finished file, no.

As to your specific question, it is what you've heard here already - no one can really know.
Historically, it takes some time for the initial demand to ramp down and availability to improve.
It could easily be another month or more, or you could find one next week. Just really
impossible to know.

When there is a mismatch between the iTunes Store's records and your credit card company's records, you will receive an error message

so the method suppose to return:

I came up with the code below - but I don't like it as I can't get the end of month + it's not safe.

Look at using the methods getActualMaximum() and getActualMinimum() in the Calendar class. Basically what I would do is set the calendar to the 15th of the month (well, really anything between 1 and 28) and then add() one to the current month. The Calendar will roll over the dates as needed.

This is a user to user forum. You are not addressing Apple. It appears that you may be having issues related to Activation lock: ( http://support.apple.com/kb/PH13695). If you cannot contact the original owner to have them remove activation lock, you should return the device for a refund.
