Yes, there could be something important we and you should know. But please, begin a new thread of your own not to confuse the readers.
Tell the support department where you bought your things, that your system is unusable if BIOS is not updated. They should take care of it. - Best to get it right from the beginning. And! they, where you bought the stuff, may even be grateful that you make them aware of the possible issue.

Apple might release small updates for 4th generation iPods touch if they find serious issues like the FaceTime problem that made Apple release iOS 6.1.5 for the 4th generation iPod touch. However, this device won't receive any major iOS update.
The 4th generation iPod touch has got 256 MB of memory, and iOS 7 devices have got 512 MB or more of memory

New BIOS Update for the Z61m Series

I have a problem with the downloading of the new BIOS Update for above mentioned notebook. Lenovo provides the version 2.25, but only via BIOS utility (exe-File), although a link to bootable CD exists. Can anyone confirm this or can help me?
Do anyone know a possibilty to contact lenovo/ibm in an easy way (not by contact form)?

New Bios update for S10e compatible with original S10?

I saw on S10lenovo that they said the fan problem is now fixed with the new bios, so it runs at a low speed all the time instead of going on and off(which is quite annoying). I was wondering if the bios update is compatible with the original S10? if not, then when will the original S10's bios update be available? Thanks!

If your not familiar with bios updates, be very careful. Make sure your 100% positive its the proper one and it works, flashing an incorrect bios will essentially cripple your system.

High temperature showing up on the NF750-G55 board.

I hope someone with the same board can help. It seems to be specific to my using Speedfan as I have tested with cpu-z/gpu-z/nvidia system tools and checked in bios as well.
First of all I am not familiar with using Speedfan and only installed it to check temperatures. Anyway temperature 3 first showed an unbelievable temperature of 134c. I quickly turned off the machine then I used the other apps. as shown above and couldn't fine anything abnormal. I left the machine alone for a few days and tested it again over the weekend; Speedfan now shows temp.3 at 98c.
The question I have to ask is: What is temp 3 related to on my board?

Thanks Henry but I think I will do what Hans suggested (thanks Hans) and remove Speedfan, and Henry if you go to the beginning of the post you would see that I did get a reading of 134c but I forgot to mention that I removed my gtx 260 card in case it was that causing the heating problem. So at present I am using the on-board graphic chip and getting the 98c on temp 3 when idling.
To chef jeff thanks again; Yes the components are new and I built the rig around a month ago and I haven't done much testing so far. I have been trying all the freebie monitoring software to see if any are good as I do not want to buy commercial software just yet as I am running Windows7 on this rig (I'll wait a few more months for the software companies to bring out up to date versions compatible it). I have already posted system specs (My PC) in profile signature.
Hans! I want to monitor temperatures (amongst other things) because I want to overclock the rig in the future, if I can rate everything on standard settings now before I start to tinker I'll know how the rig stands up to the clocking. I also want to benchmark the system using one and then two graphic cards but that is not an option until I upgrade the PSU as I don't think my Antec Phantom 500w would function very well with two gtx 260 black editions or would it?

I'm in search of a solution for my parents. The conundrum is this:
Parents have a pair of iPhone 4 8GB picked up for free on contract back in 2010 from Verizon Wireless.
They're interested in the new iPhone (6) and would like to get replacements for both. Issue is they don't want to pay. They want it "free" just as they did the first time.
Everyone has a decent idea about the carriers offering up to $200 for working iPhones from 2010 and later.
My parents do not want to be without their iPhones for any amount of time so they have ruled out Verizon's ship your old phone, let us confirm it's a working iPhone, and then wait for us to give you a virtual gift card for use later. Reading their small print states this could be weeks.
From what I was hearing AT&T was offering the $200 upgrade in brick & mortar stores, essentially allowing customers to walk out with a "free" iPhone 6.
My parents do not want to switch carriers.
Does the Apple community have an viable tips, suggestions, or comments regarding my parents situation? Any feedback is greatly appreciated as every option I've brainstormed with them results in a time loss.
They do not have back up phones to take the place of their current mobile devices and I don't believe they would want to issue themselves temporary throwaway phones, like a Tracphone. With that said... what do you think?

Those phones through Apple result in about $35 credit if in great working condition. AT&T is offering up to $200. I can tell you from experience you won't get $200 for an 8GB iPhone 4. New phone: Generally the only "free" iPhone on contract is the bottom-end one, which is the iPhone 5c at the current time. It is important to note that that phone is limited in terms of lifespan (won't likely get OS updates after next year).
That said, most US carriers are moving away from, or financially discouraging, completely subsidized phones towards monthly subsidized phones. The iPhone 6 is generally $199, iPhone 6+ is $299 on contract in the US, regardless of carrier.
You can walk out of a Verizon store (or AT&T) with a "free" iPhone 6, but you'll be paying for it monthly (~$27 for a 6, $31 for a 6+) over the two year timeframe instead. If they absolutely don't want to spend anything out of pocket but want a 6 or 6+, that's about the best they'll be able to do.

Another problem im having with my setup is this it keeps shutting down randomly on its own.
with overclocking and without overclocking. i have gone up to 3.1 ghz 3.2 ghz 3.3 ghz and it shuts down on its own or sometimes it justs freezes

W520 and new bios update

I saw lenovo released the new bios update for the W520 and it says they updated the cpu microcode. Does that mean it will accept Ivy Bridge CPU's?
Also what is your thought on W500 laptops in today's world? Are they worth hanging onto for anything or basically obsolete. I have 7 of them with the 1920x1200 resolution screen and 4 gb ram, would they be able to run the newer versions of autocad and catia?

no the W520 doesn't accept Ivy Bridge CPU.
The W500 run AutoCAD and Catia, but would be very slow if you have many parts. So if you are using the W500 for work, then you should consider upgrading.

1) you can get a replacement one, though you might have to pay the out of warranty price for the device (normal iPod touch 4th gen 8g = $99)
2) If you don't have the iPod itself, its is highly unlikely they'll replace it since you won't be handing the original over (since its in your locker)

It's probably due to the RAM and processor limitations.
iPad: RAM - 256MB, Processor - 1 GHz Apple A4
