Will the online pdf converter convert a cad file to a pdf

will the online pdf converter convert a cad file to a pdf?

Hu JuUmLuGT,
CreatePDF does not support conversion of CAD file to PDF. Kindly look into the below mentioned article for the supported file formats.

Hope this helps.

Can Acrobat X Pro Convert virtually any CAD file into a PDF document using templates?
Earlier Acrobat 9 Pro Extended used to be ?

In the latest version of Acrobat the grammer was added to allow embedding a swf file. Unfortunately the Designer (the tools for getting the swf in there) lags behind and will be there in a future release. So if you really want this you must do it by hand and it will only work in Acrobat/Reader 10.
Here is a blog entry that describes how to do it:

It's always a good idea to supply platform and AI version info.
How are you "converting" the file? Are you choosing "Save As" and selecting PDF from the file format options? This will bring up additional save options. I would suggest "Illustrator Default" setting unless you have specific needs.

  • How do I convert a web based file to a PDF file?

How do I convert a web based file to a PDF file? I know that you "Print to File" but for some reason that is not working for me.  I have Adobe Reader X, shouldn't that be able to create a PDF like this, or is there another program that I need to do this?  Thanks.

    Hi, gfrerichs.
Reader X cannot create a PDF file - it can only view and print existing PDF files.
In order to create a PDF file (for example, print a webpage as a PDF, as you mentioned), you can purchase our CreatePDF service. This service includes a CreatePDF Printer which can print web pages to PDF.
Or you could purchase Acrobat, which can also convert webpages to PDF.

  • Vba convert multiple MS Word files to signle PDF

I am creating an automation script that I will integrate into an application.  I am trying to convert multiple MS Word files that are listed in a database (with their names and file locations) into a single PDF.  I have Adobe X Pro version.  I tried using distiller directly (acrodist.exe) but it seems to require the use of PostScript files.  What would be the best way to achieve my goal to automate the fille conversion/combination of the MS Word files.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ben

Acrobat will have to be installed on the user's computer and it will open (though you can hide the windows).
The best way to do this is to write a custom plugin for Acrobat (in C/C++) that manages the conversions for you (using the AVConversion APIs) and have that communicate (via the IPC mechanism of your choice) to your custom application.

  • Converting a Color Cad file into a Black and White .pdf

My company recently bought me Adobe Acrobat XI-Professional as an upgrade from Adobe Acrobat 9-Standard. As such, one of the tasks assigned to me was to take color CAD drawings (.DWG extension) created in AutoCAD 12 and then convert them into black-and-white .pdf files. I recognize that there is a "Print in grayscale (black and white) option, but I'm finding that all of the text used in the CAD drawing (generally yellow and cyan) is coming out in grey rather than black against white. I need all of the colors to generally be black.
Is there a solution that I'm overlooking?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi TTownWriter,
On conversion Yellow, cyan and red etc convert as grey instead of Black.
    This is an expected behavior.

  • Converting 2D CAD files into 3D PDF?

    Hi there,
I have a couple of 2D CAD drawings that I converted into PDF from Autodesk AutoCAD. I also have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended. Is there a way to convert these 2D PDFs into 3D PDFs, so that I can pan or rotate the files in XYZ space?
    Thanks!

Without seeing exactly what you have I'd have to say I doubt very much that you can get 3D data out of this.  I imagine that your 2D CAD PDF is more or less lines and text at this point.  Very much like what you'd see if you printed it to paper.  It sounds like you've had trouble converting the original 2D CAD drawings into 3D from the originals as well.  Maybe there is some way to open the original files in a newer version of AutoCAD and save it as a file type that Acrobat's 3D conversion engine can handle, though I certainly have no experience with this approach.

  • Will the iMac Intel up Convert to 64Bit when running a 64bit app?

I am running Avid Media Composer 5.5.1 (Latest Version with 64 bit) on iMac 24" Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06GHz with 512 VRAM.
    I have OSX 10.6.7.
I read somewhere that OSX Snow Leopard would convert itself to 64 bit when you run a 64 bit app.
    Where do I check that?
Or how do I up convert to 64 bit?
    Please reply back soon
    Thanks,

Never heard of that. A 32bit Application would run in 32bit mode, and a 64bit App would run as 64bit.
You can check the with the Activity Monitor (Applications -> Utilities) by looking for the entry "Kind" after the Application Name.
The system itself can be checked by
Apple menu -> About This Mac -> More Info... -> Software -> "64-bit Kernel and Extensions: No/Yes"
The iMac here works as an 32bit machine, but running Applications in 64bit.

  • Have LR5.7 standalone installed.  Now with LR6 want to install through my CC2014 subscription.  Do I have to uninstall LR5.7 first or will the online CC App install regardless?

I have tried to install Lightroom through my CC2014 Photoshop subscription before.  Because I have a standalone version - 5.7 - I was unable to successfully install.  If I now want to install so I can get the newest upgrade to LR6, do I need to uninstall my LR 5.7 first?

LR6 or LR CC 2015 will run side-by-side with your LR 5.x. There is not need to uninstall LR 5.x first.
You can install the new version as (CC) Trial and later decide if you want to license by CC subscription or as stand-alone.

  • Will the TOC structure get affected if output file structure is changed?

I have used FlashHelp to generate output for a project hence the output folder has a structure, now while deploying on the server if I make changes in the output file/folder structure will this affect the "table of contents" or any other feature.
Also, while deploying o/p files on the server what needs to be done so that the new customized skin(which i made using flash) appears for the help pages of my application as i will be calling the o/p htm files from my application directly using a script.
I hope the explanation I posted is understandable.

Hi kiki_04 and welcome to the RH community.
The output files from your project can not be moved or renamed without breaking links throughout your project. Any changes to the folders or files MUST be performed inside your RoboHelp project. It is best to think of your output as a single file, even though it isn't. In other words, your output can be moved between locations in its entirety
As for your new skin, this needs to be imported into your RoboHelp project and specified inside your FlashHelp single source layout.

  • Can the online PDF converter convert secure PDFs to Word format?

I have a PDF with copy protection set. Will the online PDF converter still convert it to Word format?

    Amplifying George's reply:
Will Adobe ExportPDF convert any type of PDF file?
Adobe ExportPDF will convert the vast majority of PDF files available today, including PDF files containing scanned documents.
There are a few types of PDF files that cannot be converted, however.
These include, but are not limited to,
    PDF Portfolios,
PDF files that require a password to open the document, or
PDF files that have permissions applied to prevent copying, or altering of the content.
ExportPDF is also not capable of converting hand-written documents to Microsoft Office, due to the non-standard nature of each individual's handwriting.

  • How do I convert a .doc or .docx file to a PDF on the iPad?

I've been using Goodreader, and I can't find an option in it. Other people have suggested a workaround using Google docs, but those suggestions were from years ago, and there no longer seems to be a "Save as PDF" option in Google Drive. Is there anything I can do for free, or do I have to buy an app or use my laptop to convert the file?

I don't have this app, but according to what t says in the online manual, you convert the files on your computer.
    http://www.goodiware.com/gr-man-howto.html#mstopdf
I use Pages and Save2 PDF both of which can convert .doc files into PDF files. I would think that GoodReader would have this same functionality, but it appears as though it does not.
