I wanna buy The Sims 2 Mac Version i looked up the specs for it here they are, will it play on my newish Macbook ?

I want to buy The Sims 3 and i'm just wondering if it will fit. The Sims requires 2GB of RAM, will this make my Mac slow? or the game?

2 GB is rather the minimum. Your machine would deserve more RAM, as much as possible, with or without Sims 3.

The information is not necessarily dangerous. You're just changing standard settings using the Apple provided interface of the iPad. Nothing dangerous in that.
The same method can be used with other network providers around the world, many of whom might not put artificial usage restrictions in place purely for commercial reasons. In other more competitive mobile markets, swapping of SIMs between devices is commonplace and actively encouraged.
The only reason this is not sanctioned by AT&T is because they would prefer you pay twice for the same thing. It's physically impossible to use one SIM card in two devices, so you can only be using the data you've already paid for 'once'.

I want to download The sims 3 for my iMac 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5, it has 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 and Sims uses 2GB RAM, I just want to know will this download take a huge chunk from my memory and will the game slow my iMac down.

think you may confuse storage and work memory
storage as in the harddrive is like a fridge where work memory which you have 8GB is like the kitchen table where the "processing" is done
when one ends the program or game the kitchen table is cleared up for new data so
when your sims game is not running it's not taking up any of your 8GB of memory
and likely the 2GB is storage as in how much it take up on your harddrive

Will the sim card in the N97 fit in the N8?

Hey guys just a silly little Q dose the sim card from the N97 fit in the N8?? i ask this as my N97 is playing up after 7mth and has been sent off to get fixed and I wasnt ofters a replacement phone (thanks for the no service allphone) so I need a phone to use while my phone is getting fixed so I thought I would buy the N8. So can I use my sim in it??? i dont know much about it lol... I am with vodaphone if that helps lol... thanks so mucn for your help guys......

• TV-systems
In EU PAL is most common (25 frames per sec)
In US NTSC is only standard (29.97 fps)
EU DVD-player usually can play NTSC disks (old TV = result is black/white)
US Players NEVER plays PAL
If Your DVD is to be played on a Mac (computer) NTSC or PAL doesn't matter.

I have the 13 inch Macbook Air and I have NEVER played the Sims on my Macbook before or my other laptop. I need to understand how this Origin thing works because I know that it says you need that to play The Sims. The point is that my Macbook does not have a disk drive to put the disk in. Once The Sims 4 comes out, what do I need to do in order to get The Sims 4 for my Macbook? Please help and also by informing me how this Origin process works. Thanks for your support!

EA has no updates on bringing the Sims 4 to the Mac. If and when it does you will be able to download the game to your computer. No disk drive needed.

I have the mid-2012 MacBook Pro: 2.5 GHz processor, Intel HD 4000 Graphics, 4GB of memory, and masses of storage space left. Will I be able to play my PC copies of The Sims 2 using Boot Camp? I've been looking on the internet because I was unsure whether the graphics chip was good enough as it's not designed for gaming, and some people say it won't work, others say it will (presumably because it's a 10 year old game). If it will work, would I be able to install all the expansions? Our old desktop computer that it was installed on finally died at the exact moment that I suddenly became desperate to play The Sims, so I'm hoping you'll give me good news! Thanks.

It's version 10.9.4. I've not actually set Boot Camp up yet, my dad says he'll do it, but I'm going to put XP on. The base game needs 800 MHz processor, 256 Mb RAM, 3.5 Gb hard drive, and a 32 Mb T&L video card with DirectX 9.0 driver support. The expansion packs vary but need around 1.3 GHz processor, 256 MB - 1 GBRAM, 1.5 GB hard drive, and the same video card.
It's mainly the video card that I'm unsure of, as I assume the processor etc. can deal with a ten year old game but the video card isn't really designed for gaming. I'm hoping that it's not designed for gaming in the sense that it's not designed for modern games, but can cope with older ones. I've downloaded SimCity 4, The Movies, and Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 form the App Store and they're all fine.
P.S. - Ronda Wilson: I have the PC copies of the games already, so I'm kind of reluctant to buy a new game unless my games won't work. I've looked into The Sims 3 on Origin as back up plan though, because as you said it will run natively.
