Will the transfer of files be straightforward from the old version to CS6?

I’ve been using DW MX 2004 since, well 2004 and now thinking about CS6. But is the transfer of files from the old version to the new going to be problem free? I notice that CS6 has liquid layout, and am thinking how my existing templates are going to respond.
Also, DW MX allowed me to use the software on the PC and laptop on the one licence, would this still be permissible does anyone know? I would only be the only user and the software would never be run at the same time on both machines.

HTML is HTML, so DW will have no problem reading or using your old files, including your old template files (although template syntax has changed radically - I forget whether DW will automatically upgrade your templates or not). Are you going to install the CS6 on the same computer that is running MX2004? If so, then your sites should transfer as well. But just to be safe, you should use Site Manager in MX2004 to export the site definitions of ALL your sites (including the FTP info) to a safe place on your computer so that you can then import those definitions into CS6. Your sites' files themselves will not be affected by this update.
Be aware that CS6 is VERY VERY different than MX2004. You must bring a fair familiarity with HTML and CSS to the table when you are using CS6. Many of the things that you could do in MX2004 will require the use of CSS to do in CS6. In addition, CS6 is very focused on valid HTML, and you must bring some familiarity of that too.

Move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on File, and choose Transfer Purchases. If you need to authorize the computer, the command is in the Store menu.

Bridge cs5 will not recognize cr2 files [mod edit: from the Canon 1DX]

I just re-installed Photoshop CS5 to a new computer, but now I see that Bridge cannot preview CR2 raw files from my camera. Do I need a special plugin for this?
Bridge worked fine on my old computer, but I can't remember what I did to see the previews.

Photoshop uses the in built Adobe Camera Raw plug-in to read Raw files.
Raw file formats used by camera manufacturers are unique for each and every camera on the market. So Camera Raw is continually updated by Adobe. The version of Camera Raw you have installed supports a different range of cameras depending on which version. Earlier versions do not support newer cameras.

The 1DX was first supported by Camera Raw 6.7 (compatible with CS5+)

When you re-installed CS5, you reset Camera Raw back to 6.0 so it can read 1Ds Mark III Raw files out of the box - but not 1DX without updating Camera Raw.
In Photoshop CS5, click Help > Updates to re-install Camera Raw 6.7.

I have got a backup in the form of a vault, but aperture 3.0 doesn't seem to be accepting that to create a full new library in 3.0.

Incomplete information:
When i go to File>Vault> Restore Library, it does not recognise the vault as it was from a previous version of aperture and suggests that i 'import' the vault instead.

You are not going to be able to run your old system from the backup on this old computer as the hardware is incompatible.
You need to get a new computer or a refurbished one.

How to transfer files to and from the BB PlayBook

Overview
The following sections outline different methods of transfering files to and from the BlackBerry® PlayBook™.
Wi-Fi® Sharing
Complete the following steps to share files over a Wi-Fi connection:
From the BlackBerry PlayBook home screen, select the settings icon.
Select Storage and Sharing.
Toggle Wi-Fi Sharing to ON.
Tap Properties to verify network identification information. (PlayBook name, password etc)
From a Windows or Mac based computer on the same network as the BlackBerry PlayBook, navigate to the IP address of the PlayBook which can be found under Settings > About > Network.
On a Windows computer, open the Run dialog box and type \\127.1.1.1 (where 127.1.1.1 should be replaced with the actual IP address of the BlackBerry PlayBook)

File and Folder creation is only available on the playbook within the sub directories of the file structure. No folders can be created on the root folder of the drive. This is by design.
The main folders of the playbook are not meant to be modified renamed deleted or changed. This is by design.
While any file type can physically moved to the playbook the files capable of being opened by the playbook are still limited to KB26606, as well as KB26518.

After you connect your tablet via wifi in the network, you can also share files doing this:
I personally have windows 7 in my laptops, and when I need to transfer files using my laptop, I open network and sharing center, then I click on see full map and finally I click on the icon playbook-a185, the next screen will show you 2 folders: certs and media.
Another way is opening windows explorer and on the left under network, see the computers listed on the network, find playbook-a185, click on it and will open the folders.
Note: make sure you have file sharing and wifi sharing ON on the playbook. I turn OFF password protect so will be easier to access your files, and when you are done, you can turn password protection ON.

The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)

You already posted this five times; and you already have a conversation with Adobe staff going on in the ExportPDF forum.

Game settings are part of the backup. Only if you back up manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPad to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your device without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPad for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPad for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

No can do. Closest you can do is to use iCloud and iTunes Match. Otherwise, for mp3 files you will have to import them to iTunes on the computer and then sync them to the phone.

You should only use one Apple ID for both phones. All apps that you bought for your 3 are linked forever to the Apple ID used to buy them. If you set up your iPhone 5 as a new phone, rather than restoring from a backup of the 3, you will lose the messages, but you can sync to get the pix, contacts and music. It is safer to do it as a new phone, because sometimes restoring a backup from an earlier version of the phone can cause problems in the new phone (as told to me by an Apple store "genius" two days ago.)

The attachment is an .xls excel 97-2003 spreadsheet. I viewed the file in the email and did not edit it with any software. I can forward the file to anyone that is may want to check it out to see if they can help me. If both have Firewire ports then you can accomplish your goal by using Target Disk Mode. If this is not possible then you can do using an external drive or if you have a local network connect both to your network and use filesharing between the two computers.
