Siri really does little on the iPod itself. All teh work in done on Apple's servers. Siri would run fin on an 8GB (about 6 GB available to the user). However, with a 5 MP camera, and especially 1080P video recording, 6 GB ort usable storage would not allow muck recording. The 1080P video will be about 180 MB/min.

  • Will There Be An ipod Touch 6g?

Will there be an ipod touch 6g? If there is, when will it come out? What colors will it be in? How much will it cost?
Email me at [email protected], Thanks!!! Oh and if someone can contact to apple company i have a lot of suggestions
for the ipod touch 6g or for the next ios thats gunna come out that will make it better & that everone will love!
    They are the abbilities to:
    - Change your carrier name
    - Add color to the keyboard and passcode lock or themes to that
    - change the slidelock arrow icon to whatever
    - instead if slide to lock, you can change that to whatever you want and change the color
    - Design the clock on your lock screen
    - Change the notification colors
    - animation backrounds
    - change your icon themes
    - when taken a photo, on the bottom add the time and date when it happend
    - when your playing a game and your want to now what time is it or how much yout battery percentage
is you can put yur finger on top of the scren i pull it down a little and your can see how you will see it in
    the home page.
    - if your tired of just sliding your home page to get to the other page you can change how you do that! it changes the animation (way)
    when you change pages
    - has a slot like an ipod to put an sd card in but instead of an sd card it can be wifi you put in so you can have wifi where ever you go.
-Battery life doesnt end so quickly
    - have the phone and message app for ipod if not already
    - opens and closes apps quickly
( all these suggestions can be located in settings )
these are all my suggestions that i like so i hope they get on the ipod touch 6g or the next ios. Thanks!!!

most of your suggestions are basically the technology on the android phones. The firmware on the android phones basically. I doubt they would do anything to make their iOS similar to android. Android is basically all phones other than Apple. They are all shared, however Apple makes their own.
Other than the people who work for apple, no one will know how to get in contact with them other than what stedman1 said.

  • Will there be a iPod Touch 4?

hi, so im wondering is there gonna be ipod touch 4? with the "camera" everyone is talking about? c

    i want to ASK wrote:

*of course* there will be an iPod Touch 4 - just like there will be a new MacPro, a new MacBook/MacBook Pro/iMac/Mac Mini (even though a new model has just been released).
Apple will continue bringing new models on the market +ad infinitum+.
the real question is when and with what features - @ which point Kappy's statement kicks in
We have no way of knowing about any possible future Apple products, and speculation is forbidden on the Apple forums.

    None from a practical standpoint.

Yes, but you'll need a ladder to be able to get to the iPod to turn off that feature. Or the new iPad 1000X which will also have levitation (you'll stand on the iPad so as to reach the iPod).

  • Will there be an iPod touch six released soon

will there be an iPod touch six released soon

Well we don't know, we aren't Apple.
But i would say no. They just released the fifth generation in September last year which was a big update in comparision to the 4th gen one.
And they released a new 16 GB model like a month ago.

  • Will there be an iPod Touch version of iPhoto

    Hello,
I was just wondering. Will there be an iPod Touch (4G) version of iPhoto for iOS? Because that would be awesome

It is an app from the Mac App Store that slows corporations and other large groups to set up large amounts of devices exactly the same very easily. Or if preferred, allows them to set up different configurations and mirror different devices to different configurations.

  • Will there ever be an update with Flash Player?

Will there ever be an update with Flash Player?

Very doubtful - Apple don't want it (http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/) and Adobe have never managed to make it for iOS and they've now given up on it.
There are browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter Puffin and Photon which 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store,  and there is the built-in YouTube app for that site.

  • Will there be an iPod touch 6th generation in the near future?

Hi there, I am a proud iPod user and around two years ago I upgraded my iPod from a 2nd generation to a 5th generation. However, this particular iPod was not purchased at an Apple Store, it was purchased at a pawn shop and claimed it was " never opened". I should have trusted my instincts but I was thinking "hey a cheaper price and its new!" Obviously I could not get AppleCare because it wasn't purchasee at an Apple Store, and it is now bugging out Two years later which wouldn't be under apple care anyway. So I have been doing research on the iPod 6th genreaction thinking that when it came out that I should upgrade, IF it came out. I've been hearing rumors that apple is discontinuing the iPod FOR GOOD. I find this hard to believe but I guess now everyone listens to music on their iphones. Anyway, I am conflicted to just buy a brand new iPod 5 or if I should wait for an ipod 6, but will there even be one? Am I just wasting my time for something that is not even being created? I just don't know if I should try to get a good deal on one or if I should wait another couple of months. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Sorry, only Apple knows if there's a 6th generation iPod.
We users like yourself are not in the loop.

  • Purchased itunes music will not copy to ipod touch with windows

I'm helping out a neighbor. They just got an ipod touch and when they set up the itunes they were able to transfer some music but when they purchased music from itunes and tried putting it on the ipod it won't go. Now no music will copy to the ipod. Does anyone know that they should do? I'm not much of a PC person but I think if I can get some direction I can help them out.

If the non-syning ones play in iTunes on the coputer:
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Any App that will bi-directionally sync iPod Touch with Windows Desktop Outlook 2010 Tasks?

    Hi All
    iPod Touch 3rd gen iOS v 5.1.1
    iTunes (for Windows) v 10.7.0.21
Windows 7 32 bit Desktop PC
Outlook 2010 32 bit with POP3 mail server
Appigo ToDo app on iPod Touch
    I reside in Canada
I have been using Appigo's ToDo Task Manager app on my Touch for almost 3 years now. With their Appgio Sync conduit, I have been able to seemlessly bi-directionally sync between the Touch and Outlook Tasks on my Desktop. Now Appigo is no longer going to support Appigo Sync. I can keep using this sync conduit BUT I will no longer be able to update my Touch's ToDo app (eventually that will be a problem).
I DO NOT use iCloud and do NOT wish to use iCloud. I also do not wish to keep my tasks (which do contain confidential information) on anyone else's cloud server. Hence, I need the ability to direct sync between my Touch and my desktop.
I've been searching the web and the App Store looking for either a way to keep using ToDo with another sync method, OR another app that will allow syncing between the it on the Touch and my Desktop.
I don't care about syncing emails since they get downloaded on my Touch regardless. I don't care about syncing Calendars and Contacts since that happens whenever I sync my Touch to iTunes.  Just Outlook Tasks that need to be synced. I also don't care for Reminders - seems like a waste of space IMHO.
I can't be the only person on the planet that doesn't want to use a cloud server, doesn't have an email exchange server and wants to keep tasks in both handheld device and desktop in sync. Please, please, please, any and all suggestions and help will be most appreciated!! IF I need to go to iOS v 6+, then I will need to purchase a new iPod Touch; a huge expense when the Touch I have is still working fine (but if one has to, one has to).
    Thanks a bunch
    barb

I'm in a similar position. Just recently migrated to iPhone from Blackberry (and liking it) but would only do so after confirming that I could sync Outlook tasks to the iPhone. Using ToDo and Appigo sync was the solution and it has worked fine. And I deal with Calendar and Contacts in a similar fashion as you.
I'm not sure I understand the options. I don't have a basic "cloud as a process objection" and cost isn't an issue. But I do want my tasks to end up synced on both my laptop (on the hard drive) and on my iPhone (and soon to come iPad). A variation on your question. Is there no way to do this?

  • Will apple take an ipod 4 with a broken screen and put money tward an ipod 5?

My dad and sister think that if i take my iPod 4 in and try to get money for a 5 it'll be worthless how mine is can someone clarify if that is true or not.  I really want to put money for an ipod 5 badly.

Hey Mazals, No, your family is right, you can recycle your iPod by turning it over to Apple, and as Skydiver119 has stated it's not much, 10% off the purchase price of a new Apple device, so a $300 iPod = $30 off the price, it's about what it would cost to get ride of an electronic device if you took it to a recycling center, you just can't throw these things away in the trash. Some electronics store will give you more toward the purchase of a new product, provided you buy the replacement from there store. (Generally, the device has to be in good working order, cracked screen may not qualify). I don't which ones, you'll have to do some research. Your other option is fix you iPod and continue to use it, BUT, there's always a but... you need to way in if it's worth fixing. Used iPod 4 are selling for about the cost to replace the screen-- provided you do the labor to replace the screen. Not worth doing if you plan to fix it and sell it. What ever you do, make sure you make a full backup to your computer before you recycle, repair, or sell. If you decide to sell don't forget to untether it from your computer, unlock it wipe it clean, so the next owner, can use it. Since your sights are set for a new iPod, I would recycle with Apple. (Skydiver119 has given you all need to complete this task). Hope this helps, Cheers.

  • Why won't any of my music will transfer to my iPod touch with iOS7?

None of my music will transfer since updating iOS7. I had to do a software restore to even get the thing to sync the song titles, but not be able to play them. That's basically the whole purpose of an iPod, right? Music? Anyway, I refuse to do a firmware restore again.  I should not have to do that everytime I want to put music on my iPod. iTunes just sits there telling me that it's "waiting for changes to be applied." Well, I've come across calculators that operate faster than this thing.  It has been this way since noon EST.  The most frustrating part about this is that I have paid Apple, Inc. literally thousands (2) of dollars for a MacBook Pro and an iPod Touch 5. Soooo, yeah. iOS 6 and iTunes 11, worked awesome, best sync ever. iOS7 and iTunes 11.1? What the what happened and how do I fix it? And don'y say device restore, I will sooner donate it to the trash bin.

I spent forever today looking for this same answer.  VERY frustrating.
    What I did was this:
In General Settings>go to RESET> Reset Network Settings.
Wait for the device to reboot as it disconnects and resets your router connection.
Then Reconnect to your wifi by using your password.
    WORKS.
I had to reset my iphone 4s, my children's ipad minis AND my ipad 4.  Not impressed but it was the only thing that worked and at least it was fast.
Not sure why this happens, and thinking that whenever my router updates I will have to do this to them.  My husband's iphone 5 was unaffected however.  So weird.
    Hope this works for you!
