No. I would not expect any updates for a 3G or even a 4G iPod

Sparked by the talks around the question of whether Apple is going to integrate the flash technology in its products now that Steve jobs is no longer with us, I decided to get your views on that topic. Personally I think that if they won't integrate they are risking a serious drop in revenue from the sale of their mobile products, since the Android platform does provide full flash support, and Windows mobile is going to move in that direction as soon as they get some traction in the global mobile market. Having your device malfunction can certainly be frustrating. After reviewing your post, it sounds as though your device is experiencing multiple issues. I have located an article that can help with software issues. Have you attempted to restore the device to factory settings without restoring from a backup? Test the issue on a new installation, and make sure that it works. Then use the same article to restore from your backup to either verify it still works, or isolate the issue to the backup itself.

How to update to ios 5 now that ios 6 is out?

I have an iPod touch on version 4.3 and want to update to version 5. I do not want to go to version 6, however when I try to update within iTunes it only offers version 6. I have seached the web to no avail. I found a download section on Apple's site, however there is no download option, only a link to security information. I find it intesting that I can find past updates to Mac OS, but not iOS. Help please!. CT

Will there be future database support of mySQL and php 5.5 on the dreamweaver CC?

Will there be future support of mySQL and php 5.5 on the dreamweaver CC? I have seen various topics on this, and havent seen any answers on this as of yet. I feel it is very important to have this available, and not from some external company as an addon or something. I come from cs6 products, and am debating whether or not I should even join the creative cloud, or participate any further with Adobe products.
I have been a fan of Adobe for quite some time. However, if there isn't going to be any database tools within DW, I may decide to pass on the CC and comepletely hand code it all from now on.
Has anyone found yes or no answer to this yet? I am assuming there is no news yet, as the adobe posts I have read have no additional info other than they haven't updated the tools, thus removing them from CC.

I very much doubt that any future addition of DW will include any 'official' support for mySql database interactivity. CC hide the server behaviours this time around in an extention to be activated by the individual, its still available in CC but at the users own disgression, mySql is dead. You should be connecting and querying your databases using other methods like mySqli. Adobe have seen it fit to go in other directions and dispite the outcry of dropping the server behaviours there has been a deafening silence from Adobe. From that you can take it they think it is no longer an important part of their software package.

I have not updated to CC because it contains zero that would be of importance to my workflow. The more experienced a code writer you are the less DW has to offer. Any serious code writer would not miss DW if it went out of business. Fireworks is more important to me which LOL is going out of business...go figure. I think the Adone execs are screwed up snorting cocaine or something. I'm not really even sure why I use DW, maybe out of habit.
Certainly hand coding for database connectivity and querying is the ONLY way to go if you are not interested in third party extentions because continuing to use the current available server behaviours is a backwards step. not much response in here which surprises me...
Anyway... AS I am still looking for answers, I will share a couple of points that I realised...
in Airport Utility, I noticed that my iphone MAC address was actually showing as client connected, despite my phone network showing the spinning wheel next to the network name for ever and never actually connecting.
I am currently testing the router mode in Network to be on DHCP and NAT mode with a range from .2 to .200
My phone is now connected....
Everything seems to be ok and happy so far...
strange that this router and phone have worked together for at least a couple of years, the phone works everywhere else, and all other toys connect to my WIFI just fine. the list is as follow:
airport extreme
Zeppelin air
2x apple tv
2 ipads
iphone 4s
2 mac
1 pc
I have litterally just hard reset the router with a pin just now as a last resort... same...
I will leave the router as DHCP & NAT until a potential firmware or OS update...

I am a chemistry professor who loves to work on the ipad. The problem I have is that the mathematics I use and chemical equations is use in my writings need both super scripts and subscripts. I would love to use my ipad for this, but presently, the only way I can do this is with a third party app that allows me to create the formulas and the paste them in the document I am working on. Will there be an update to Pages for ipad that will allow subscripts and super scripts. I would love to move away from my Office 2010, but the support is not there yet.

While there is nothing to suggest that there will be any additional updates for the original iPad. You might find some solution for your iPad running slow and frequently crashing.
the first thing I would check is how much free space you have left. I think to should try to have at least 20% of the space free to allow efficient operation of apps and the iOS. If you have less than that try deleting some apps or data on order to free up more space.

The iPad 1 can only be updated to iOS 5.1.1. This is unlikely to change.
The apps you have will continue to work and there are still many apps which run on iOS 5 (or even earlier iOS levels).

Because it says it's incompatible when it can't be, I got hope. I get error messages all the time with my iPod and iPhone that it cannot sync and that 'this device is not capapble of connecting to iTunes' stuff. I literally forget that happened, plug it in again and it works, I later realize that iTunes made a mistake, they do that.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
-When it says place the iPod in recovery mode use this program instead of the buttons.
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The 3GS is not listed in the supported list for iOS7. Unless Apple comes out with a major bug fix, 6.1.3 will likely be the last update for it.
