Hi everybody!
My System Specs: Athlon XP 2400+, GB DDR400, Radeon 9800 Pro, Audigy 2 ZS, Win XP
I have tried (for several hours) to record or using timeshifting in my Pinnacle PCTV Vision software...
Didn't work without manual settings in the mixer.
Then I have tried a solution for that...
And found this:
The problem is simple: To record analog audio with an Audigy, you need to record from the "Analog Mix" line, which mixes the several analog sources together. What makes the problem REALLY serious is that it does NOT record from a source which is muted. Since all timeshifters mute the line they record from (in order to not have repeated sound, one coming from the line and one timeshifted), Audigy does NOT record the audio. In order to get what is needed for timeshifting, the line has to be not muted, and a setting called "Record without monitoring" of the Analog Mix line has to be turned on. Really ugly issue! If the timeshifting program does not have specilized code to handle Audigy correctly, there is almost nothing you can do. There is an ugly workaround: choose a WRONG line in the timeshifter (eg. CD instead of Line-in/Aux), use your mixer to MANUALLY turn Line in/Aux on and find the "Record without monitoring" flag and turn it on. Timeshifting should work, but the program will no longer turn the sound from the channel on or off: you'll get background noise in your computer especially when you're not using the tuner, and you'll probably get noise when switching channels. BUT if your timeshifter monitors the audio line for some reason (e.g. Pinnacle's Vision does it) you won't get any sound with non-timeshifted playback. 

So I posted this information to the Pinnacle Support forum and got that answer:
That is a well known problem and the company is working on new drivers at the moment - but it is not known when these drivers will be published by the soundcard manufacturer. So there's no ther solution than waiting, sorry.

So...will these new drivers will be released soon?
I think every Audigy user is waiting for that one. Maybe it is published this month, because new drivers seem to come
every March and November each year...

I also have the problem with Pinnacle PCTV/Audigy 2, reported by numerous users both in SB and Pinnacle forums. (The problem in short, is that if Timeshifting is enabled in PCTV Vision, the line-in is muted when recording, resulting in silent recordings. To add to my frustration, I discovered that my Audigy 2 is a Dell OEM version, so even if Creative were to fix this, I would have to wait for a Dell specific version of the driver. Sorry for all the negativism, but I needed to vent...
On the positi've side, I did discover a work-around that actually seems to work. I can enable the integrated sound on the mother board, connect the PCTV card to the integrated line-in and the head phone jack to the Audigy 2 line-in. Then configure PCTV to record sound from the integrated sound. This is not ideal, but again, it works

Will there be new drivers for XP64 and the Audigy 2? I FINALLY found why my Audigy 2 gives no sound in the center or rear channels. I have more than 2 GT of RAM. In my case I have 4G of ram and the I/O space used by the Audigy is mapped above the 2.8 GB boundary of XP and the drivers do not work. If I do a /maxmem=4096 in my boot.ini, everything works as it should.
So I know this has n=been reported for the XFi, and a fix will come, but will a fix come for the Audigy?

CREATIVE: Comon! Don't you understand, that there are actually a lot of your costumers who have SPENT MONEY on your hardware, but can't make it work right with win7 becauase your drivers are freakin' old!
So can you please tell me/us when you plan to release WORKING drivers? Thanks in advance!

I'm probably not the only one tired of creative acting like a bunch of snails, as far as i've read here in the forum! It's been a year almost since their latest driver release for the x-fi, right? I simply don't understand it!

the only thing they do care is their products having great reviews. 3 months ago amazon and other online stores were full of negati've customer reviews. no, it's 4-5 stars only. all reviews are great from people who.. i don't know, can't hear the bad sound these cards are producing. oh well....

Their inability to provide drivers for Windows 7, if the reason would be that Windows 7 is too narrow market they will bite their own ass, Windows 7 is growing very rapidly. And if a hardware provider cant provide drivers for Windows 7 they surely wont provide them in the future for the OS after Windows 7. So stay away from Creative, they are bad for you.

Will there be new Canada or Mexico calling plans thanks to the Share Data Plan?

I recently signed up for Verizon service (back in March, 2012) and go the 700 minute family plan (2 smart phones with data and one "feature" phone). One of the reasons I chose Verizon over AT&T was because Verizon had coverage in a portion of Canada that I visit and had a Canada Calling Plan to cover that area. My goal was to switch to that plan for the month of my trip so that I could make/receive calls while in Canada. Now, however, because of the new share plans, I would not be able to switch BACK to my preferred family plan (which gives me the upgraded 4GB per smart phone instead of 2GB). So, I have a great plan now, but if I switch to the Canada plan for 2 measly weeks (or the full month), I can never switch back without having to choose the new share plans (which won't be as good a deal for me).
Hence, I don't plan to switch to the Canada calling plan. So, is there ANY other kind of add-on service that I can use on my existing family plan that will let me make/receive calls for a reasonable rate in Canada? For example, Sprint has a $.2.99 add-on that let's you make/receive calls in Canada for $0.09/minute. Without any kind of add-on, the per-minute rate is $0.69 and I think that's just airtime, it wouldn't include the long-distance cost of calling a Canadian phone# (I can work around that by using Google voice, but still...not as nice).

The plans are still there, but I don't want to switch to them because then I can't switch back to my current plan (700 share minutes for 3 phones plus 4GB or data for each phone). The equivalent service under the new plans would be far more expensive. So, I'd really prefer to keep my current plan and use some kind of long-distance rate plan while in Canada. This was one of the main reasons why I chose Verizon over Sprint (the town I'm visiting only has CDMA coverage, no GSM, so T-mobile and AT&T are out).

The problem here is that the WRT600N is not even listed on the products/support page... atleast for me.... so go ahead, go to the support/product page... and look for WRT600N.... if you find it.. link me the page....

OPPS!... MY bad.... seems your web located me in Latin America.... Im in Puerto Rico... which is U.S. territory and it looks like this model was not sold in Latin America, so it's not in thier list...LOL.... I whish people got their geographics correct... sorry!

There was the PlaysforSure update Firmware (2.2.02) on 2/6/2005, There was the Driver update(.30.03) on Sept 3,2005.
If you didn't know about these, go to the top of the page, click SUPPORT and then click Downloads to find the information.

New drivers for pc cam 850

Are there any new drivers? I am using the one that came with the cd-rom. that says...2320.
A search of the Creative website does not show anything for the PC CAm 850, under PRoduct, OR sUPPORT.
Anybody can point me in the rigth direction?

I also had lots of BSODs about 6 month ago, but that caused by a faulty hdd. I replaced it and reinstalled w7 pro and everything was OK until 2012 jan.

Newer drivers on Support website than on System Update?

Sorry if this is an obvious question but: am I right in feeling that there are newer drivers for my T440s on the Lenovo Support page than are being offered to me when I run System Update?
If so, how come?
Are these betas? Should I be watching the Support page as well as running Update?
Just want to stay sensibly up to date. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

In my experience, System Update can lag behind a model's driver matrix. I routinely look at what TVSU is offering me and then go look at the matrix for comparison. If a TVSU-offered package for something I want matches the matrix, then I let it install it. Generally speaking, though, I'm pretty conservative about driver updates.
Lastly, I don't think I've ever seen a true beta driver in the matrices for my ThinkPads.

Is there a way to make the update recognize the new computer so that my content will be kept?

The best option is to copy your entire iTunes folder from your old computer to your new one using one of the methods described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527. This will allow iTunes on your new computer to recognize and sync with your phone without deleting content. You will also need to copy over any other synced data not in your iTunes library such as photos synced to your phone, calendars and contacts.
If you can't do this, these articles will help you start syncing with your new computer with minimal or no data loss:

I'm unable to sync my contacts with the new iPhone 5 and my 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. Will there be a fix for this in the next update?

I previously had an iPhone 4 synced and paired with my 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe and had no issues. Now I have a new iPhone 5 and am able to sync the phone but the contacts will not update in the phone book listing for the vehicle. I've tried several times to re-sync and pair the phone to the vehicle and still the same issue. I'm able to make an receive calls but no contact information is being displayed. From all of the previous community issues reported it's not an AT&T issue, Hyundai issue, it's clearly pointing at the device (iPhone 5) being the issue.
Will there be a fix for this in the next update?

Thanks for your response. However, after speaking with a level 2 Apple Advisor and Hyundai there is an issue that both companies are aware of and are working towards a resolution. Here's a blurb from Hyundai that was sent to me after I spoke with Apple Advisor:
"We apologize for any inconvenience associated with the technical issues with devices connected via Bluetooth. Hyundai is aware of the iPhone losing its Bluetooth connection to the vehicle along with any function associated with it at the time. Hyundai has been able to reproduce the concern in our test vehicles and have sent all necessary information to Apple engineers. Hyundai received confirmation from Apple that they will work on debugging.

Exactly the same problem with me.
Some other threads advice to remove fonts, clean the caches, remove add ins but nothing works consistenty, for some it looks like it works, for me it failed.
What I did not try yet, was to move the Render files out of the malicious library to trash.
