Just looked at my Apple USB AC charger that plugs i the room, it states "output 5V @1A"
this worrys me a bit as it says 12V?

Well.. Me and one of my good friends both have iPod Touch 4th gen 32gb's and my friend read on the Technobuffalo website that IOS 5.1 was suppose to come with Siri for the iPod touch and probably the iPad and I updated my iPod 4th gen to IOS 5.1 and it still doesn't have Siri !

Yes but I have brought the A1429 where as the information you provided states that it's the A1428.

Will this battery work for my laptop?

the 5 gen ipod has video capabilities but is not "the" video ipod. its like the nano it supports photos but its not an ipod photo. the "ipod video" is the 6 gen ipod which is coming out this fall. its gonna have a bigger screen made to actually watch movies on it. the 5 gen you can watch movies on it buts not practical for it. its "ipod" it became just the standard ipod. notice that nowhere does apple call it "ipod video"

Carry Case for 80G iPod Video

I've looked everywhere for a carry case for my iPod 80g video but can't find anything to suit. I mostly use it in the car, shut away in the glove box, and wanted something that allows me to plug in the stereo lead with the iPod still in case. I was hoping to get something with room to store the headphones and a extra lead etc.
Any suggestions?

Van hello. You should never keep your iPod in your glove compartment as one day you'll find that it will stop working because of excess heat, cold or humidity. Try to take it with you (if possible). okay... i've been working off Windows since i got my first iPod, but i'm about to get a Macbook for college cause that's what i need...
is this going to be an issue for my iPod?
if so, can someone explain what i have to do (an i've got this bad feeling i'm gonna have to restore it, which means a fun time reupping all 9600 of my songs)

A Windows formatted iPod will work just fine on a Mac without you needing to do anything to it. Of course the new iTunes library on the Mac will see that the iPod is synced to another library, but otherwise, the iPod will work fine As-Is on a Mac.

Does anyone know a converter from the new iTunes TV/movie file type to one that will work on my 5th generation iPod video?

I just tried to load some new TV shows from my iTunes onto my 5th generation iPod video and it says the video format is not supported. I currently have dozens of TV shows and movies on the iPod, I just wanted to put some new stuff on there. So I need to know if there is anyway of converting the new iTunes video format into one that will run on my 5th generation iPod.

When you drag a movie from the Media Browser to the Time lIne in GarageBand, you will see a pop-up "Extracting Audio".
The Movie and the audio file will appear in separate tracks. You can copy the audio region from the sound track to a different track to keep it safe and then hide the Movie track.

Video errors for 30g ipod video

Can someone help me? I have a video file i converted to the proper format for my ipod and I was able to transfer it to the ipod, but when I try to play it on the ipod all I get is a black screen and no sound and after about 30 seconds it goes back to the menu.

I think it might need to be converted again...
If you used iTunes's option to "Convert to iPod" it might not have worked properly (iTunes is limited in the types of files it can work with). You might want to try Googling iPod Video Converter, downloading and installing a third party program, running the file through that, and then trying it on the iPod again.
I've used Videora in the past and have had some decent results with it.
