  • Will this RAM fit ?

Will this RAM be supported in a 2010 MBP ?
Only difference I can see is that standard RAM is 1066mhz and this is 1333mhz.
    http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/laptop-memory/ddr3-sodimm/ddr3-sodimm/ocz- ddr3-pc3-10600-ddr3-value-sodimm-8gb-edition.html
And does anyone know of any other memory providers that make RAM to fit a MBP ?

204 pin looks like it would fit, however I think what you are looking for is PC8500 DDR3 1066MHz 204 Pin?
You can read more on bus speed and overclocking. Depends on what you are primary using your computer for. You can decide for yourself, google "1066mhz and this is 1333mhz."

  • Will this card fit in my G5?!?

My original video card died - I am looking to buy a Radeon 9000 Pro Mac Edition ADC/DVI card w/128MB. Will this fit/work in my original dual 2.0 G5 AGP?
    HELP!
    //dennis

    Hi-
The 9000 is 2x/4x AGP compatible as far as I know. I don't recall it being 8x AGP compatible.
    Your G5 is 8x AGP.

  • I have AG3-605-UR1G will this card fit in it?

GTX 750Ti SC 2GB If not what decent card will work?I have 500w PSU

What it means is that the CPU runs at 3.3GHz, when you put the system under load (gaming, loading applications etc..) it can boost up to 3.7GHz. This creates more heat and the CPU is designed to balance the extra speed and performance with safety of making sure there isn't to much heat and ensuring the longevity of the CPU.
Someone a little more knowledgeable about CPUs might be able to tell you if it's possible to push the CPU to stay at 3.7, but it probably isn't just as easy as turning on a setting in your PC.

  • Will this cooler fit?

Hi folks im loving my MSI p7n platinum great board, have had no probs with it at all. decided to fit a new cooler as my E8500 seems to be running a bit hot, so was going to fit a  Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 then i read about the  Zalman 9700 led, but being bigger than the arctic will it fit my board? also is it a lot better than the Artic as it is over twice the price ? thx for any help

Thx for the reply m8  ill try the Arctic, cheaper and easier to fit dont have to take board out again , what do u use to tell u what temp your cpu is at? on Msi dual core centre mine says 34degs  speed fan says 45deg, a big  gap, what is the best program?  thx again for the reply

  • Will this Ninja fit P7N Platinum?

Can someone tell me if this Ninja linked to below would fit socket on the P7N SLI Platinum? Also, any problem with the System 1 fan header and/or ATX 8-pin power connector being blocked by it making them inaccessible after heatsink is installed? I listed two links because not sure if they are the same model since Scythe calls it a revision "B."

works on mine.  you need offset the fan a bit to keep it from hitting the DIMM in the first slot.  can't use DIMM with large heatsinks like ocz reapers.

  • Will this RAM work in MBP 15inch

Will this ram fit our 15 MBP bc this is another great deal
    http://www.frys.com/product/5468099

I tried using the memory finder on the Frys' site and the link to the Apple page errors out. Do you really want RAM from someone who can't keep an Apple RAM link working? I buy a lot of stuff from Fry's retail store but not RAM. Even in-store, they seldom have proper Mac memory charts.
Like SIG says, post more details about your machine to get better advice on finding the right RAM. The easiest way is to do "About this Mac..." and then click "More Info..." in the resulting window. You'll get the System Profiler screen; copy the info on the first screen and paste everything except your machine's serial number into a response. For example, doing that with my MBP gives this info:
    Hardware Overview:
    Model Name: MacBook Pro
    Model Identifier: MacBookPro3,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
    Processor Speed: 2.2 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 1
    Total Number Of Cores: 2
    L2 Cache: 4 MB
    Memory: 2 GB
    Bus Speed: 800 MHz
    Boot ROM Version: MBP31.0070.B05
    SMC Version: 1.16f10
    Serial Number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Someone can look at this and tell exactly which model you have and what RAM it takes.

I had a 640GB HDD in my Early 2008 Macbook and it was just too much it would always freeze up the computer a bit for only a few seconds but ya. Then I realized that it was the size of the HDD that was causing it since the Early 2008 Macbook models can only handle a MAX od 500GB while the Early 2008 Macbook Pros could have a MAX of 640GB (Lucked out there!) lol But ya the Early 2008 Mocbooks can only handle a MAX HDD size of 500GB and that's it!! lol

Will this Solid State Hard Drive Fit in a Desktop Computer?

Any info is greatly appreciated; thanks!

I think you'll need two adapters as well. One to mount a 2.5" drive in a 3.5" bay, and one to convert the smaller 2.5" IDE connector to the bigger type found in desktop PCs and a separate power plug.
Here's two examples. I'm not recommending either of these products, they're just the first ones I found!

  • Will this hard drive fit my MacBook?

    Hi!
I've decided to upgradre my MacBook's hard drive when I install Leopard. I have a couple of questions. Hope some nice person will help me with some answers
First. Will this fit my MacBook:
    Hitachi TravelStar 5K160 - Harddisk - 160 GB - internal hard driwe - 2.5" - SATA-150 - 5400 rpm - buffer: 8 MB
Second. Will my old hard drive fit in some sort of box so I can use it as an external hard drive?
    Thanks alot!

Yes. If you want a little more speed and capacity consider the Hitachi 7K200 model - 200 GBs, 7200 RPM.

  • Is it possible to connect a MacBook Pro (prev model 2009, 2.26ghz) to an Apple Thunderbolt display:  will the cable fit?

Is it possible to connect a MacBook Pro (prev model 2009, 2.26ghz) to an Apple Thunderbolt display:  will the cable fit?

Sorry it won't work.  It will fit but the laptop can't communicate with it.  Please see many of the other threads here, specifically this one just above your post, that is discussing this exact question.
Apple's specs for the ThunderBolt display state that it needs a ThunderBolt-enabled computer.  Your laptop has a mini-display port connection so it is not compatible with the new displays.

  • Switch to 2X Xeon 5680 6-core, Will this work?

    Hello
My current set up of a 8 core 2.26 Xeon mac pro (Early 2009) has been giving me insufficient power for what i need to do. I am not willing to pay for the apple upgrade to only 2.93 for an 8 core, so I am considering upgrading to two six core 3.33 GHz Xeon X5680's, or two six core 2.93 GHz Xeon X5670's. (I chose those because i'm guessing two i7 980 processors won't fit on a Xeon board). Totalling 12 cores.
The question comes down to, will this work, will the processor fit in the socket? If so, what is involved, what risks are there, what changes would need to be made? Would it work on OS X, or would it only run under windows, etc? Or would it not even work at all?
(And i'd rather not buy a PC with that money.)
    Thanks

  • GPU - Will this work?

    I have two Mac Pros:
2006 (actually built in November 2007) which has a new GeForce 8800GT
    and an
    Early 2009 which has a 4870
First, as a video editor would I gain much as far as speed, color or other in the 2009, to replace the 4870 with a new 5870?
If it would gain much, will the 4870 fit and work plug and play in the 2006?
Can all this be done without the need of flashing or any other finangling?
    Thanks for any help.

No reason to spend and Barefeats has tested those cards against others.

  • Will this video card and power supply work on my computer? HP Pavilion p6213w Desktop PC

I have a HP Pavilion p6213w Desktop PC, will this video card and power supply work on my computer?
    Video Card: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8379339&sku=A455-0760
    Power Supply: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4668507&sku=C13-2511
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

It is unlikely that the power supply will fit/work in your HP Pavilion p6213w Desktop Computer. Please consider the Corsiar CX500, CX500M, CX600, and CX600M for your power supply needs. These power supplies are the same physical size as the factory unit and are known to fit and work in most HP full-sized consumer desktop computers.
There is a chance that the GTX 760 and other current generation video cards may not work in your computer. These newer cards typically require the computer to support the most current UEFI standards and many motherboards don't meet this criteria. Please know the return policy on any video card you purchase, in case it doesn't work. If the GTX 760 doesn't work, consider the GTX 650/660 Ti or equivalent AMD graphics card for your graphics card needs.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
