I'm thinking about buying a Iphone 6 plus T-mobile contract free version.
I'm think about traveling back to China and HongKong later in the year, will the phone work there?

Hi, I recently bought an unlocked t mobile iPhone 5, but I have Verizon. Will the phone still work with verizon? And if so, what do I have to do to get it working?

To be completely sure, here are the different models of iphone 5:
Model number on the back cover:
A1428: iPhone 5 (GSM model)
A1429: iPhone 5 (GSM and CDMA model)
A1442: iPhone 5 (CDMA model, China)

So seeing as your iphone was a TMobile device, which would mean it has to be GSM capable, this phone is either an A1428 or A1429. If it is the A1429, that means it also will support CDMA, so you should be good to go on Verizon. If it is the A1428, not so much.
So yeah, just take a look at the back of your phone, and you shall find the answers you seek.

It should work with a GSM SIM card (like T-mobile in the US), as long as it as unlocked. For international, make sure it is GSM.

Just to clarify Meg's answer a bit, it will only work at 3G speeds in some cities. Outside of those few areas where T-Mobile has a 3G network that is compatible with the iPhone in the US, you won't even get that. You'll only get EDGE speeds in most of the country.

Not sure if your question was answered, but I just used a T-Mobile iPhone 6 in France with no problem. T-mobile does not appear to have a lock on the phones. In case this is relevant, I first turned on and set up the iPhone 6 in the US with the T-Mobile sim in it, but never intentionally "activated" anything with T-Mobile. I just used the iPhone on Wifi for a couple of weeks in the US before returning to France.
Other than the "unlock" issue, iPhone 6 should work in India with any sim-based network.

WOW this is the most absurd statement .. iPhones in Brazil used to start from 2799 Reais and this is US$ 1221.01 on today's exchange rate, with the announcement of the iPhone 6 the 5s dropped to 2199 Reais (16gb) or US$959.31… and ON A CONTRACT it is not the same as in US where the phone is locked.. here ALL phones are unlocked by law…. granted it is one of the most expensive country to buy an iPhone… a big difference for 2k thru 3k US$ and.. also it does not sell like hot cakes… the majority of iPhones in the country comes from abroad.
Maybe if brazilians would spend more time obligating the government to lower tax and do their job (a.k.a voting to better candidates) instead of spending time doing nothing and denigrating Brazil's image, it would be a better country to live in.

Long story short, I downladed an illegal file on my computer, and my internet provider cut me off. They made me connect an ethernet cable to the modem to go online and sign a I will not ever do again ordeal. Ever since then though, my computer will not connect with its wifi. I brought the laptop to work and it would connect with other wifi networks easily, just not the one at home. any solutions?

You need to log into iCloud with your Apple ID under Settings->iCloud to Turn on Find my iPhone for each iPhone.
With that done, you can use the App on each iPhone to find the other. You do not need to go to iCloud.com. But you do need to log into the App with the Apple ID you used to log into iCloud in settings.
You cannot use the App without turning on Find My iPhone in Settings on each iPhone, and you cannot do that without logging into iCloud.

So I am travelling around the states at the moment and took the opportunity to save a buck and bought an iPhone 6 on T-mobile today. I'm currently using a traveller sim and all seems to be working ok! Although I'm worried how well it's going to work when I get back. I have 14 days to make my mind up and am not returning to the UK in this time. Does anyone know whether it will work as if it were purchased in the UK? It would make for an expensive mistake if not!

It should work just fine. The T-Mobile models are unlocked out of the box (even if ordered from Apple) Once you do register it on the T-Mobile network though or purchased via an EIP agreement on T-Mobile, it's locked to their network. The thing is though if you're a T-Mobile customer, there are no overseas data charges over your current agreement. Voice calls on the other hand can get pricey if you don't have international coverage.
The huge number of bands available on the iPhone 6 should have you covered with any GSM carrier in the UK.
When you return, simply put the original SIM back in and activate your service on T-Mobile. Otherwise as it sits and you swapped SIM modules before activation, you're good to go.

I spoke to Verizon, customer, they are not sure with Indian networks, because the Verizon devices are explicitly designed for Verizon network, it wont work with other comapnies. and he tols one intresting thins that Verizon providing services in india also.

It is possible because the price for an unlocked iPhone, and the price for a locked iPhone without a contract commitment is exactly the same. AT&T does not sell unlocked iPhones. If your friend bought it anywhere other than directly from Apple, it is a locked phone, not an unlocked phone. Contact the carrier it's locked to to find out what their conditions are for unlocking.
