Will using a Ipad Retina wallpaper on a Ipad mini look bad

I just got a Ipad Mini and have a folder on my Macbook Pro filled with Ipad Retina wallpapers. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to use these images as the wallpaper on my Ipad Mini since the resolution on my Ipad Mini is 1024-by-768 vs my old Ipad 3rd Gen's 2048-by-1536 resolution. I know the website I downloaded all the images from and can always go back an get Ipad 2 wallpapers since the Mini has the same resolution. I just dont want to if I don't need too

Howcome did Apple introduce iPad Retina so close to iPad 3 release?

I'm considering to buy a iPad 3, however I wonder if the A5X chip is good enough with the Retina display, since Apple released the iPad 4 (Retina) only ~8 months after. Any experiences and recommendations. I can buy the iPad 3 for ~25 % less the price of iPad 4.

How come? Because they did, presumably for reasons of remaining in the lead with other tablets such as the Microsoft Surface coming out.
As to whether the 3rd-generation iPad is still good enough, I've certainly found it to be so. I would buy the 4th-generation if I was buying a new one, for the increased performance and the probability that it will be supported with iOS updates longer, but I've found no reason to rush to upgrade my current iPad. Even my wife's iPad 2 is doing just fine. So it really comes down to your budget. If price is an issue, you may want to wait until after the holidays and see if refurbished 4th-gen iPads become available through the Apple Store (they certainly will eventually, but it remains to be seen how soon).

So we are entirely new to Apple products. I'm an IT guy, but have always been a windows user.
So the Ipad with Retina Display is to be mine (and will use it at work for notes, organization, etc)
The MINI is for the wife.
But, are we allowed and can we.. buy an app and share that app between both devices? IE. Can I buy a copy of Angry Birds for the House and both Ipad's use that single purchase? and if so, can we still run the Ipads seperate other than to share the apps purchased. IE my facebook and email set up on mine and hers on her ipad mini?
When I finally find a note taking app I like, can I share it on her ipad, without her having all my work files, etc?
Thanks for helping out the apple noob. Hoping for a great experience, and anticipate droping $100 in apps the first day.. just don't want to do that twice. If this is against the usage policy, thats unfortunate but good to know. (I mean we can share stuff on PC as long as its in the same household)

There are a number of Apple services: iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, Game center, Find My iPad, etc.
Now, to share apps, music and books you need to have the same Apple ID:
iPad's Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > Your purchasing Apple ID.
For the other service, your wife should have her own Apple ID.
All she needs is a valid e-mail address, apply Apple ID below:

Unable to install ipa to iphone5s and ipad retina by Flash Builder 4.6 using latest Flex sdk 4.13

I am using Apache Flex 4.13 FP11.1 AIR14.0 for my Flash Builder 4.6 in my windows 7. attatched is the code. I am using provisining profile and my iphone5 and ipad retina UDID is added in that. But exported application via flash builder for ios is not installing in my ipad retina display and iphone5. I including following default images.

The problem is that when i sync it via itunes. it shows Waiting... then it shows progress for installing. when i click the app icon in device it shows Installing... as shown in these images but never shows finished process.

No, the iPads use chargers that are either 10 or 12 watts...a 5 watt charger is not powerful enough to charge an iPad.

If you have Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion set 'off' then you will need to use a higher resolution version of your pictures, otherwise the parallax effect will zoom in.

When the parallax effect is on, you may notice the following:
Wallpaper, icons, and alerts shift slightly as you move your phone.
When you set a wallpaper in Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness, the photo or image will be slightly zoomed and can't be scaled to fit the screen.
If you zoom in, you will need to rescale your wallpaper to fit to the screen. You can't rescale certain photo formats, including landscape or square images.

No, it only mirrors changes to synced data. This includes mail, contacts, calendars, reminders, safari bookmarks, notes, iWork documents and data, and photo stream photos (assuming you choose to sync all this data). Changes to iTunes data such as music, apps, podcasts, etc., are not synced using iCloud. In your example, if you delete an app from one device it will remain on the other until deleted there too.

Here are the steps for AirPlay:
Before starting Azul from your (running iOS 5.x/6.x) home screen where have have all your apps we need to turn on mirroring
On your iPhone 4S/5 or iPad 2 or 3, double-click the Home Button to view your recently-used apps.
Swipe all the way to the right to until you see the icon.
Note: If the icon does not appear, go to the "If AirPlay Mirroring is not visible or available on your mobile iOS device" section.
Tap the icon to see the list of available AirPlay devices.
Enable AirPlay Mirroring in this menu by tapping on an available Apple TV, then sliding the Mirroring slider to ON.
Now you should be seeing your iPad/iPhone on your TV.
Start up Azul now and using the settings icon on the top right corner go to the option that say "TV out" ON.
When you do that you will see an Orange screen
Now click "Done" and play the video you want to watch and it will AirPlay

The HTC hotspot works fine with everything else I connect to it.
Also - ipad will not connect to my HTC via bluetooth. Again, I can connect to everything else with my HTC other than my ipad.
I have to say this is my first venture into Apple products and I have always wanted to get away from my windows based laptop to get a MacBook, the problems I have had (flash player etc) & continue to have (as above) are putting me right off swapping over. I HATE technology that doesn't work and my ipad has been hard work!

I am going to the States next month and want to buy the new iPad there. Which iPad Retina should I buy in the US so it will work in the UK, the AT&T or Verizon model? I'm probably staying with O2, but can't tell if different models are sold in the UK, or if its just the one. If just the one, I can't find which model number it is for the UK. The apple store website isn't exactly clear on which model(s) is/are sold in the UK.

We don't have cellular, but I have often read many ques. and answers here just for my own info when we were first buying. I do know that in the past, Verizon had a different system than ATT and others. That could all have changed with LTE. I checked a couple of articles and found the following links which might help you. PLEASE NOTE these were published in March and May of 2012, so things might have changed with the new ipad 4. Also note that you can buy a cellular here without a contract that you could then set up with your own UK phone company.

You also said you wanted retina display and then said you were probably staying with 02. If by that you mean the ipad 2, I want to let you know that the ipad 2 does NOT have the retina display. That would mean you'd have to get the old discontinued 'new' ipad or the ipad 4. And if I were you, I would not even think of buying an old 'new ipad, even if there's a great sale on them. I'd go straight to the ipad 4.
Make sure you do as much research as possible.

You need to go to the App stores and find compatible apps. iOS device do not natively have to ability to transfer info to a computer via BT to a computer.
With iOS 8 you can use AirDrop
