Will using a microphone help my ICD-AX412 in this occasion?
So I understand that using a lavalier microphone helps improve the quality of the sound, mostly because you can attach it to your collar to better capture the voice. However, would it improve the quality of my voice recording if both the recorder and the microphone are together in an enclosed space?
I ask this because I need to record while having my recorder in my backpack, for reasons. It works decently enough but I am wondering if a microphone in there would improve the quality or not.
Just take note of these general guidelines in order to get audio quality recordings from the IC Recorder:
Verify that nothing is rubbing up against the microphone when recording.
Verify that the unit is not placed near an AC power source, fluorescent lamp or a cellular telephone when recording.
Ensure fresh batteries are installed.
Use a can of compressed air to blow into the built-in microphone to remove any built up dust or dirt.
If an external microphone is being used, verify that the microphone is clean by wiping it with a dry, lint free cloth.
Reset the unit by removing the batteries for at least 1 minute.

I am a newbie as far as LiveCycle goes and have a problem with a form I created growing to 10 times the intial size because I used our company standard font Century Gothic throughout the document. If I change all the fields to Myriad Pro (the default), will I run into the same problem? I have some users with Acrobat Pro X, but more who would just be using the latest version of Reader to fill and save their forms. Any/all guidance welcomed.
Fonts should have nothing to do with file size. But, try it and tell us if it still happens w/Myriad Pro.

My HP G72 Beeps when I use my microphone. How do i disable this?
Well, it did this a while back, and it seemed like I had it fixed for a while, but now it's back. I think I know what causes it. I think when my computer or a program maybe detects that my mic is picking up a loud noise, because when I plug my headset in it only happens if I hit the microphone on it. Anyway, I was wondering if there was a way to disable this without disabling the microphone in the properties? Because when I don't have my headset plugged in whenever I type on my laptops keyboard, it beeps. It's beeping right now -_-. Please help.
Thanks!Make sure the iPad's rotation isn't locked. Flip the switch on the side. If that doesn't work, double tap the home button, there should be a bar at the bottom with apps on it. Swipe your finger to the right, then tap on the icon that looks like a rotation arrow with a lock.

I’m sure this is a stupid question but I’m trying to import my iCal info from home to work and back. I have Tiger at home and Panther at work, is there a simple way to import and export and update? Click on your selected calendar, then Click the Info button on the lower right side of the iCal Window, and the window which opens will allow you to change the color in the color window drop down menu which is located in the upper right hand corner of the Info Window.
Just drag them to change the order.

When I copy and paste from Word to my e-mail using Firefox it changes the font and spacing to single space and 10pt.
It just started doing this a month ago.
It does not do it when I am on my laptop or using Explorer.
Help, I hate explorer.If this were a project that I was involved in, I would recapture the media at the correct frame rate and rebuild the sequences correctly.

Just started using a brand new ICD-AX412. I have recorded a meeting and the playback is fine through the 412. 2 problems.
1. With the expansion M2 SanDisk, it takes the 412 about 10 minutes to "Access". Top line says "Accessing" for 10 mins. Then it becomes available to record.
2. 412 will not connect to a computer usb port. Just says "connecting" forever.Hi pwmac2005! I'd like to verify further information. Does it happen on all USB ports? Does it also happen on another USB? Let me know. Thanks.

Assuming you're in North America now, you probably won't need any sort of plug adaptor there; most sockets in the Philippines are the same as those in North America. In case you do, it doesn't contain the correct adaptor.
Voltage conversion is handled by the MacBook without any additional components.

Try this. Don't open the email. Swipe across it in the preview window and a red delete button will pop up. Use that to delete it. You can delete it from the trash the same way if needed.

I'm sure others will disagree, but I'm all about saving $. I would start by looking online at the Apple store for refurbished devices. I would also get MORE memory than yout think you will ever need. The stuff we have seems always to expand to fill the space available. I wouldn't get one with cellular capability unless you really, really need it...

I have an iPad 2 that is updated and using 6.0.1. It is connecting to my wifi just fine. I just purchased a 4th generation iPad. It shows it is connected to the same wifi, same strong signal, but it will not work. HELP!!!
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

try to press the sleep/wake button + home button at the same time and hold them until the apple logo appears. that should help.

My satelite L455-S5975 will not restore using restore discs Help please
I have a L455 that I tied to restore to the out of box state using the internal restore partition.
After starting the process mid way I received a fatal error message and the computer now doesn't reboot past the windows 7 icon before displaying another error message and only allowing me to shut the system back down.
I called the help line and they said it sounded like my hard drive crashed. I then ordered the restore discs from Acclaim and was told that after installing a new hard drive these discs would get the system back up and running and back to factory out of box status.
I ran the discs and towards the end of using the second recovery disk I received another error.
this was using the new hard drive.
I tried this twice and it didn't take.
I then put the old hard drive back in and started the restore process again.
I received this error mid way through the second disk.
10-FC12-0241
after selecting the o.k button to shut down I received this error
F3-F200-0002
again I selected the o.k. button to shut down and it did but still will not start up past the windows 7 logo.
Any idea what the issue is or what the error codes mean so that I can get the computer back up and running.

JasonAssuming your install media isnt damaged and your hard drives are good, in order of most problematic to least, you could have an issue with your motherboard, CPU, RAM, or optical drive.
Optical drive: attatch an external optical drive (USB) and try to install from there.
RAM: If you have multiple DIMMs, pull all but one and see if it goes. If it still doesnt work, try the other one.
If you only have one DIMM module then you can either swap it out or run a full memory test using MEMTEST86.
CPU: Obtain a replacement CPU and replace it.
Motherboard: time to buy another computer.
