Will Verizon offer a plan similar to ATT without the EDGE?

Unless Verizon ( very sooon) changes to match att me and my 4 lines are gone. I dont care about the EDGE program.... I want the same as ATT offers or pretty darn close, or were gone. Is this something Verizon is looking into? If not id say the better!!

1) you can get a replacement one, though you might have to pay the out of warranty price for the device (normal iPod touch 4th gen 8g = $99)
2) If you don't have the iPod itself, its is highly unlikely they'll replace it since you won't be handing the original over (since its in your locker)

Here's the reason I'm asking:
I forgot to drop it off at FedEx on the way to the airport. My entire family is now on an overseas trip and won't
be back for 8 weeks. The Fascinate, packed in Verizon box with FedEx box, is now sitting in my car trunk at
the airport long-term parking lot. I was supposed to stop by the FedEx office at the airport cargo area to drop
it off, but forgot about it during the rush.... (yes, I do realize it's a stupid mistake that may end up costing a

I have got one verizon iphone4s, and I don't think share everything is suitable for me since I only have one device and have to pay at least $90 a month.

Yes you can go to Verizon with your own IPhone and activate without a contract.
You will always be eligible for upgrade and will not be in a contract. Your contract date will be the day you start service which means you wont have one.
TECHNICALLY: All new customers are only able to go to Share Everything Plan. BUT Customer Service and store reps can just change it to the 450, 900, or Unlimited plan talk only or with Talk and Text. If the store wont do it, start a plan with share everything then just call customer service for a smaller plan with tiered data.
The Nationwide 450, 900, and Unlimited are not inactive plans (Grandfather Plans) so new customers can be switched to the older Nationwide 450, 900, Unlimited plans. You just need to ask for it.

Verizon has nothing to do with Apple updates.
It is much like Microsoft who phased out support updates to Win 31, Windows 95,98,ME and now Windows XP.

What i get is in the end that in the ComboBox in this case i call it cmbxNetwork i see in it many items all start with Win32_ For example when i click on ComboBox i see the first item is: "Win32_NetworkAdapter"
Instead Win32_NetworkAdapter i want to see in the ComboBox only: NetworkAdapter But when i select the item it should be selected as Win32_NetworkAdapter but the user should see and select only NetworkAdapter.
I want to remove as test from the ComboBox items the Win32_ But only that the user will see it without Win32_
Also in the constructor when i'm doing now: cmbxNetwork.SelectedItem = "Win32_NetworkAdapter"; so instead if i'm doing: cmbxNetwork.SelectedItem = "NetworkAdapter"; it will be enough. THe program will use the "Win32_NetworkAdapter";
but again what i see and user in the ComboBox as item is only the NetworkAdapter

Do you mean that you want the ComboBox show the value of “NetworkAdapter” in the text, but when you refer the value of the cmbxNetwork.SelectedItem, it will be “Win32_NetworkAdapter”? If so, I am afraid that you need create your own ComboboxItem and override
the ToString() method to return the text you want.
You could modify the code below for your own achievement.

I think I have convinced my sister to switch from AT&T to Verizon. Will Verizon offer me any incentives, e.g., a greater discount on my upgrade for referring her to them as a new customer?
I am due for an upgrade on October 24, 2011 and I would like to upgrade from a Blackberry to a Droid Bionic and I was hoping Verizon might discount the Bionic for me if I refer my sister to them.
Or would it be better just to add her as a family member? Ironically, if she signs a two year contract as a new customer, she can get the Bionic for $149.00 at AmazonWireless.com, whereas if I upgrade as an existing customer, I will pay $219.00. One would think Verizon would be more generous to their loyal customers, as I have been with them for over five years. Any advice? Thank you!

If you are saying the you receive a bigger discount through AmazonWireless for being a new customer rather than a renewing customer with Verizon, then it is AmazonWireless and not Verizon that is being more generous.
If you are purchasing the phone through Verizon, the cost of the phone would be the same, regardless if you are a new customer or a renewing customer.

ATT should be okay, but not Verizon. Look at the right panel, under "More like this", other users have asked similar questions.

i have att right now but thinking on switching but we have a $95 dollar fee on 2 phones to cancel the contract...will verizon sometimes pay for u to switch?

There is not CDMA. Unless Samsung makes a CDMA variant and strikes a deal with Verizon it isn't happening. Well VoLTE can fix the issue however it doesn't support the 700 and 1700/2100(AWS) bands for LTE.
WCDMA is UMTS(GSM) and not CDMA don't confuse them.

What will happen to my unlimited 3G data plan if VZW gives me the Samsung Droid Charge 4G phone?

I currently have the Samsung Fascinate and the unlimited data plan, with a 20% corporate
discount . The 2-year contract started when I bought the Fascinate in November 2010.
If I'm not mistaken, my unlimited plan is grandfathered in, even after Verizon changed the
2GB limit for data plans.
There is no 4G service in my part of the state. There won't be 4G for at least 2 years,
according to the Verizon corporate store manager. My part of the state was the second
to last to get 3G on the east coast.
If I take Verizon's offer and accept the Samsung Droid Charge 4G as a replacement phone,
what will happento my existing unlimited 3G data plan? Can they activate the 4G phone
on a 3G data plan?
Will the 4G phone pick up 4G signal when I travel to a major city with 4G service? (nearest
city with 4G is 230 miles away)
