Will we ever see on iOS a real multitasking, like the one in Windows RT?

Hello everybody, I am an italian user of iPad Air, and I am new on the community.
Nothing to say about this tablet: I realized that I will never be able to stay without it. But I have just seen the Microsoft OS used by a friend, and its multitasking is simply the same you could appreciate on ever notebook, and the most important point is that the open apps don't get off. I mean (please, forgive me for my English) that on iOS, for example, i can't write on Pages while I am listening to a song on iTunes, because iTunes will stop the sound reproduction; but on Windows RT you can do this.
So I am asking to you, because you sure are more well-informed than me: will Apple programmers increase the usefulness of the almost perfect iOS?

iOS devices should have a native file brower app built into the OS... (It's hard to believe that Apple iOS devices can't read files from a Apple Time Capsule, right out of the box.) A iOS Finder should be preinstalled on all iOS devices. This is one feature that all other OS such as Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Mobile have preinstalled on their own devices. Which is why those devices don't outsell; not as popular; or as desirable as Apple's iDevices.

Apple hasn't said anything about siri on the other devices. It is currently limited to the iPhone 4S

I recently upgraded to iOS 8. Looks like the pics I had in my messages are no longer appearing as pictures, rather they are appearing as JPEG files (not broken jpegs). I need to get these pics. Can't figure out how to do it. I'm on an iPhone 5C.

I've tried resetting my phone, looking for the pics in the new 'deleted' folder. I tried forwarding the jpegs to sees if they'll appear in a new message (but turnout the phone won't let me forward these pics). Apple is trying to say it's the 30 day reason, but I know that is not the problem. ALl of my pics older than 30 days were viewable. It is the upgrade that screwed this up. Help! Important pics!

As for iPhoto, it sounds like you were trying to move files around in the library. That is a bib no-no in Aperture or iPhoto.

Will we ever see silver keyboards again

I have a 2007 Macbook Pro (2.16 C2D) absolutely love it and still seems fast enough.
Was recently in an Apple store looking to buy my wife a MBP and thought if I wanted to replace my 2007 MBP I would be stuffed. Really don't like the current Macbook Pros.
Hate the black keyboard with spaces between the keys. It looks 'cheaper' than my current MBP.
Does anyone think we will ever get the silver keyboards back? I would never NOT buy Apple, but my next machine might be a iMac

Will there ever be an update for the AppleTV 2G to host an Internet browser such as Safari and capable of holding apps?

ATV is not meant to be an internet tv. It is a media hub. Airplay will open the possibilities, but I don't see any native browser support coming to it.

After updating to iOS 8.3, seem like the wifi signal got worst. The screen rotation is still as bad

sseem like the updates which were pushed didn't do any much hel, the wifi signal was even weaker than before, at times I will be totally disconnected from my home wifi.
And the screen rotation... i don't see any difference to it.

Mine won't even rotate now. So I have not scientific calculator. Apple support recommends backup and restore.

iOS software used to be so bullet proof, but iOS 8 is a dog. It's like working with windows. I wish I could downgrade. My wife's phone is at iOS 6 and I'm leaving it there. it works better than mine.

Will we ever see full-resolution video out on 5G ipods?

i'm an independent filmmaker. it would be very very useful for me if i could store all of my movies on my video ipod at full resolution (720x480) so I could basically carry a backup of all of my work with me at all times. it'd be especially useful for pitch meetings & stuff.
does anybody know if apple plans to support full tv resolution at any point in the future? that would really make the video ipod an unbeatably awesome device!

I think the real question here is if Apple will make it so that, with an iPod and AV cable, you can watch a movie on a easonable sized TV without the currently obvious lack of resolution.
I would assume that in the future, the iPod will be able to, because if not, there was really no reason to make the AV output in the first place. I'm sure no one is really using it now, since the quality looks so bad; If you're trying to watch LOST or Desperate Housewives you may as well power up the VCR.
As for right now, I've heard of some people using Videora with certain settings and getting higher resolutions to work on the iPod. I haven't been able (as of yet) to figure out how to do it, but there's got to be a way.

Give it to us straight creative, will we EVER see Dolby Digital or D

I have had enough of the waiting for new drivers to come out for any of the creative sound cards that decode dolby digital and DTS. All of us Sound Blaster card owners deserve to know if out cards will ever get this ENTRY LEVEL feature in our hardware again. I need to start upgrading my system and i need to know that if i go with the top of the line X-FI card with X-RAM, it will get dolby functionality soon. If not, i am willing to forgo the X-RAM and go with a competitor card that does everything under vista without problems, albeit with lower versions of EAX. So come on creative, let me have it, hit me and all the other creative soundblaster owners with the truth. do i keep my hopes up of dolby digital decoding under vista, or do i go elswhere?

For Serious ! Creative has really dropped the ball on Vista support. Not being to integrate my PC speakers with my entertainment system as I had with XP is mighty annoying. It's strange that the?Creative beta drivers?would decode anything I could throw at it. Then all of a sudden?the so called release drivers mysteriously loose this ability. Dear I phone 6 will I ever see you?

So like so many I pre-ordered an iphone 6 at 9/12 3:01 am EST. I stay up late and received my confirmation email about an hour later.
On 9/16 I get an email saying my order was cancelled. After an hour wait to talk to talk to a rep on Verizon, she tells me I must of made a mistake and there must be something I forgot to do. So I get her to transfer me to the sales department because she says I need to preorder. The sale department rep is much more courteous and tells me for special circumstances like this they can see if they can get me ahead of the line for preordering. She lets me know that iphone 6 in 64GB white and gold is still set for expected deliver for 9/19 so she can get that order for me. 20 mins later I get my new confirmation email and it says expected delivery date 9/19 and I'm thinking, well this all worked out its fine.
BUT since then my order status has not changed, still says expected delivery 9/19, I have received no tracking information no charges.
Why bother preodering? I feel like a broken record, we are all saying the same thing. I may as well of took my chances with going into the store.
I guess I'll call Verizon and wait on the line for another hour........
I've come to terms that I am not seeing my iphone for a very long time.

Well Today my iphone order was cancelled again! All I hear its because of fraud from a private message on here.
So I'm supposed to call and wait hours again to talk to someone?
So I try to order directly from apple website instead, which confirms I'm eligible for upgrade. But as I'm checking out it tells me I am not elligible for deliver as verizon won't allow them to ship to me but I have to come instore for pick up. Well you can't instore pick up when they are sold out. So It looks like I'll be waiting months for an iphone when they are finally stocked! Why preorder an iphone at 3:01 am like everyone else! For fun I guess

Will we ever see 2-way syncing with Yahoo contacts?

Well, another major update has come and gone, and 1.4 really does have some nice features (and seems at least initially to have improved battery life, which had gotten beyond pathetic for me), but still no ability to make changes to Yahoo contacts on the Pre. I would have just left my contacts on Google if I'd had any idea it would be this long. I don't even know if Palm or Yahoo is the holdout, and at this point don't care -- I'd just REALLY like to be able to modify contacts on the phone. Anyone have any insight at all?

Only thing I can offer is Yahoo does allow exporting your contacts online. Then you can import that file into google contacts.

Probably not. The iPhone base OS is lighter and requires less resources as the full MacOS and therefore not as robust.
Have you used Photos yet? Is this a photo album syncing issue that you need assistance with?
