Will wiping a Mac using iCloud remove the capability of tracking or seeing its location using iCloud?

I recently had my MacBook stolen and it hasn't shown up on the find my iPhone iCloud service. I am currently tracking it and the cops know about it but I was wondering that if I were to wipe the MacBook remotely using iCloud would it make me lose the capability of seeing its location on iCloud.

Will Linksys wireless routers be updated to the final 802.11n spec when its finished? I read that most can be updated to the final spec with a firmware update.

In your situation I strongly recommend you read over that KB article. The international iTunes Stores are not cross-compatible.
My understanding of how it would work is that when activating iTunes Match on your US Store account, any songs you have in your iTunes Library that were purchased from the AUS Store account will NOT be matched. As I understand it, those files will be uploaded (which means you need the files on a local HDD). I also do not think it is possible to have iTunes Match active on more than one store ID on the same computer. But since iTunes Match is not available internationally yet, that point is moot for the moment.
To be honest you might want to wait until the service is available internationally so you can guage how will it will serve you.

If a macbook pro will not turn on, the screen is black, have unplugged, removed the battery, have done command option and esc to no avail, also once battery was removed held down the power button for 5 seconds still no working screen,. However when not plugged in the green light appears on the bottom front of the computer and it stays green after a few minutes it stays green then goes out. Help!! .

Awfully small for a new drive..... Been 10 years or so since drives that small were produced.
What is the drive, a Green, Blue or Black?
Is it a SATA Rev 2 (3.0 Gbps) or SATA rev 3 (6.0 Gbps)?
If SATA rev 3, did you install a jumper on pins 5 and 6?
Finally, what's the problem? Not seen? Can't format it?

Will an american Mac Mini work in the UK?

My girlfriend is bringing me one home from Georgia, and I suddenly got the fear that it might not work in the UK, can anybody help me?

Mark, your Mini will work in the UK and all around the world, however, the American plug will not work in the UK (if you have a Tri or Quad band cell phone you probably have two plugs, one for the UK and another - often built-in - for the US).
What you will need is the AC cord on page 7 of the Mac mini's manual.
Maybe your local Apple Store will be able to sell you one.

Will 10.5.2 Combo update remove the smaller update from SU

Hi, I'm downloading the 10.5.2 standalone combo update from Apple (343mb) because i've heard its more stable than the smaller update (which my software update is currently showing me).
Question is, once i've installed this combo update, will my software update be smart enough to not show the smaller update when I next check for updates after installing this combo update to 10.5.2?

After each install a package receipt is written to identify your install version and type. Next time you initiate an SU this package receipt is compared with the update receipt and the newer one will be added to your install list.

We can no longer delete our text messages without deleting the entire feed.

They didn't.
Tap and hold a Message > More > select the individual messages then the trash can at the bottom or Delete All at the top to clear the thread.

HT3964 My iMac will not eject a CD when all the prescribed checks are completed

I have inserted a CD in the iMac superdrive, no image appears on the desktop, I cannot eject the CD using all the prescribed options.
The Mac will not shut down except by removing the power plug. Does anybody have any suggestions before I call in the "Big Guns"??

If I delete my songs from my "Downloads" folder, have them in my "Trash" and then delete them from my "Trash", will I still be able to play the songs on my iTunes or will they be deleted on my iTunes as well?

I want to clear some space on my Mac since it is filling up and I don't have much room left on it. I want to delete all my songs from my "Downloads" folder and then delete them from my "Trash" to free up space however, I'm worried that if I do this then iTunes will not play any of the songs I deleted.
Will I still be able to play my songs on iTunes even if they are not in my "Downloads" or "Trash" folders?

All tracks in iTunes (if you use default settings) should be in various artist and album folders in the main media folder in the iTunes folder. You can right click a track to reveal its location in Finder. If there's a copy there then it doesn't really matter what you do with other copies.
I have never downloaded from iTunes but I thought it placed files directly in the correct locations, or is this some other downloads folder to which you are referring?
Normally if you download a file from another source and add it to iTunes by dragging it there, or using the Add To menu item, it places a copy of the file in iTunes. You can discard the original, but if you're concerned you can check which copy iTunes is actually using as above.

How to remove the stubborn 3rd party software from my curve

Here are the softwares that I want to remove-
ICQ, AIM, Myspace, Yahoo search, Google talk, Yahoo messenger, Window Live messenger... I never use those softwares. I tried using desktop manager, those softwares aren't even on the list. And, I tried to use applications under advanced options, it did remove from the list then reboot the curve, they still come back on the curve. They are so stubborn! Can anyone help?

once you remoe them from applications they are gone. When you restart your device, only the icon comes back, if you were to actually click on that icon, it wont run the program, it will download and install it first. The reason for this is because its part of your plan from your carrier and is always pushed back to your device. if you ahve them uninstalled, u are saving space, then just hide the install icon.

I'm using a web browser window to display content from a web application in my LV front panel. I'd really like the content to appear as native parts of the front panel rather than being inside a frame. Is there a method that will allow me to hide or remove the frame from the ActiveX control? I've tried to make it a custom control and edit the decoration out but that does not seem to work.

Quite right, in my 8.2 the web browser is already borderless (probably transparent). If your web browser window doesn't look good you should be able to insert it into the activeX one, the other should be a special case.
