Have Sony Bravia TV (KDL-40HX800) with Sony USB-wireless LAN adapter(UWA-BR100), will Sony wireless headphone(MDR-10RBT) work with the television also?

Hi NY_Lone_ranger! The KDL-40HX800 doesn't have Bluetooth. The MDR-10RBT will not work with the TV.

Hey all, i've experienced a rather unique problem ever since the original release of the WoW wireless headset.
It works perfectly (Great headset, by the way, except for this one huge issue.) normally, however, upon plugging a Microsoft Xbox 360 controller into another USB port, the sound goes out on the headset.
This problem has existed for me since the original commercial release of the wireless headset. Back then, I opened up a ticket, but didn't really get any help on the issue. The support tech just told me to update my drivers and firmware, despite me already having done that. Eventually, I gave up on trying to fix the issue, since I felt I didn't really have enough games I played on the PC to justify bothering with this bug anymore.
Unfortunately, with the holidays coming up, things have changed, and I was looking to get some help on what the cause of this might be, and how to fix it.
I should mention that the headset works perfectly in conjunction with the controller, on my laptop, which runs Windows 7. The computer that has the problem in question runs Windows XP.
I've checked the audio output, and, after plugging the controller in, the headset is listed as the audio output option. In addition to that, with some jury rigging (Rebooting the computer after plugging the controller in, for instance.) I can get limited sound. However, it is so staticy, extremely low quality, and crackly, as to be almost physically uncomfortable to listen too. Nevermind actually being able to discern what it is i'm actually listening too.
I also have a surround sound system plugged into my computer. I originally assumed that this might be the problem. However, I recently had to move my computer, and the surround sound system is not currently plugged into the computer. The headset still does not work on XP when the 360 USB controller is plugged in.
This problem has persisted beyond a wipe of the hard-drive and re-install of the OS, as well.
Has anyone else experienced this problem, and been able to fix it?

You might want to:
. Uninstall the headset, make sure all related applications are removed.
2. Perform a clean boot of your system
3. While your system is in it's clean boot state, reinstall the headset.
Do test the headset with a different USB port on your main computer to see if it makes a difference. Hope this hel

Will an Infra-Red Adapter work with a macbook pro retina display so I can use the apple TV remote for presentations?

I have always used the apple TV remote for my presentations. I bought a retina display last year for the betterment of my presentations and now I have to stand near my computer and hit a button to change my slides where as before I used my remote. Will a infra-red adapter work with the apple TV remote in the macbook pro retina display? Love my computer, but very disappointed not to have a remote for presentations that does not need the internet. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes, I used that and it works great if you have wireless connection. Im looking for a remote that worked like the apple TV remote. My questions is, "Is there a USB infra-red remote that works with mac. I have found this one: Keyspan EZ1 easy presenter. It claims with works with PC and Mac and the reviews are good. There are two kinds of RFID tags: Active tags, which have a battery or other internal power source, and passive tags, which have no power source and work by reflecting the energy from an RFID scanner (basically). At the energy levels and distances used for WiFi location detection, passive tags will not return a detectable signal.

Will DM v4.2.2 work with a new BB Storm?

I have been trying -- and failing -- for two weeks now to "fix" Desktop Manager v4.7 so that it will sync with my new Storm. One error after another. I've tried every single "solution" I could find on BlackBerry.com and CrackBerry.com and absolutely nothing works. DM v4.7 simply will not permit me to CONFIGURE synchronization, let alone actually synchronize a thing. With no contacts or calendar on the Storm, it's worth less than a bad cell phone.
I'm running on XP Pro SP3, Office 2003. Several folks have reported that downgrading to DM v4.2.2 has solved a lot problems they've had with v4.7. My question is simple: will DM v4.2.2 work with a new Storm or am I just destined for another failure experience if I go to the time and trouble of clean un-installing v4.7 (yet again!?!?!) and downloading/installing v4.2.2? If v4.2.2 won't work, is there ANY other version of DM that will work with a Storm or is v4.7 the only show in town? (If it is, the show just closed. iPhone, here I come.) As an update, I bought the WNDR3400v2 router and am supremely disappointed with its lack of power - but - the Lenovo W510 DOES work perfectly fine connecting to both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz radios.
The problem is the signal strength only twenty feet away up one floor is dismal (as compared to what it was with the ancient Linksys WRT54G for example).
What bothers me is that Netgear goes to great lengths to hide the power output of the radio so I 'suspect' that it is anemic and I don't (yet anyway) suspect the radio on the W510 laptop. Netgear support would only tell me the EIRP at 2.4GHz is 20dBm, and at 5GHz it's double that. So I can only assume the power output from that. If I assume a 5dBi antenna gain for both frequencies, that results in a power output guesstimate of 15dBm (32mW) at 2.4GHz and double that at, i.e., 18dBm or 64mW, at 5GHz.
The other side of the equation, of course, is the power & gain of the W510 radio & antenna.
Do we have specs for the W510 power output & antenna gain (e.g., a typical laptop is about 50mW (roughly 15 to 18 dBm) pushed into an antenna with a gain of about 1/2 dBi to about 1 dBi at best, regardless of what the specification sheet intimates)?

Well, the tiny green light comes on and blinks. . . After a frustrating time, I turned everything off. Later, when I tried the keyboard again, it worked. I guess the bluetooth process takes longer than expected. So thank you for taking the time to help a technically impaired person!!
