Win 7 File-Manager "Pages" column on details view not working.

Hi, I'm using AA XI on Win 7. I have a couple of advanced file managers (xplorer2 and XYplorer) that let you choose different columns for the the "Details View." One of the built-in WIndows properties that can be used as a column is "Pages." It shows the number of pages that a Word doc has, but does not show anything for PDF files. One of the XYplorer forum members said that I need to install PDF-XChange, then the column support will be added to my computer... Is there an Acrobat XI setting that will allow Windows to read the number of pages in a PDF? Any other thoughts on this? Many thanks.

Batch file seetup to run in event viewer not working.

Hi everyone,
Long story short
we have some new Security monitoring software that we use for our clients WHich is written in .net2 and can't pick up the IDs for failures in event viewer as they are in .net4. so what we have done is set up a series of batch files to run through task scheduler
and send the event ID to Application in event viewer that o ur security monitoring software can read.
This has worked perfectly on all of our servers but for some reason on Windows 7 machines when the batch file is run nothing happens in Application under Event Viewer.
e.g:

Your first step must be to check if the batch file actually runs, e.g. like so:

Lion will only let you add documents to iCloud through iCloud.com, iCloud.com requires the iOS apps before you can use it.
Mountain Lion will let you add documents to iCloud from the iWork apps themselves, you don't then need the iOS apps before they can be opened on another Mac.

Same problem. Am using Firefox 24 (W7x64).
I've tried setting it to use the built-in PDF viewer, to always asking, to using Adobe plugin, to using Nitro plugin.
I changed the pdfjs.disabled in about:config to true but that didn't help.
The plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types was set to

You splitted the parent container in two part upper and lower row (2 rows), so you are able to adjust the vertical size, but not the horizontal size (only 1 column) this size must be adjusted on parent container.

where rownum < 5000 order by employee_id desc ;But while querying the MATERIALIZED VIEW, it did not work successfully as the data did not appear in the accurate order.
I tried to create the same MATERIALIZED VIEW but order by another column (Column Date), it worked successfully and the data appeared in the accurate order.
It means that MATERIALIZED VIEW not work successfully with the first column (id).
Can you please help me in this ?

A few pointers :
1. As has been pointed out, the ROWNUM has been incorrectly placed. ROWNUM values are assigned as rows are fetched from the source before the ORDER BY. You need to ORDER BY first (in a SubQuery) and then ROWNUM afterwards (outside the SubQuery).
2. I wonder why you want only the last 5000 EMPLOYEE_IDs. What if Employee_ID 1 is still an active employee (he is the founder, first employee and CEO ?). There could be very many "low" EMPLOYEE_IDs that are still active.
3. Logically I would expect some filter other than the ROWNUM ... ORDER BY to be used to select candidate rows. Then, an ORDER BY in the CREATE query would be unnecessary.
4. When querying the Materialized View you must explicitly ORDER BY (irrespective of whether you did or did not do an ORDER BY in the CREATE ...)
5. How do you expect to refresh the MV ? Will it always be a COMPLETE Refresh ? Remember that your "5000 employees" filter would likely exclude older employees at the next refresh. If you use some other filter, it should be consistent across all refreshs.

Right-click (or ctrl-click) on a file. If the "move to Trash" option is greyed out, select "get info" and read the permissions at the bottom of the info window.

Hi all,
I have two custom tables -- 1) XXX_DIE_Headers
2) XXX_DIE_LINES
I developed a Master Detail form based on above tables. XXX_DIE_Headers is the Master Block (Single record) & XXX_DIE_LINES is the detail block ( Multi line block ).
Yes, I used Appstand,Template.fmb for developing this form. The Master block has three fields out of which Two are required fields and i have given initial value for them.
As i deployed it in APPS(EBS),everything about it is working fine (insert,delete,master-detail behaviour) except querying.
When i press F-11 , It pops up a message "Do you want to save changes you have made" Choice - yes,no,cancel.
I don't want this message to pop up.
The scenario is :- I open the form.( without entering ) Press F11 . The message Pops up.
Please give me suggession on how to work it around so as form directly goes to query mode ,without popping the message.

It seems that you are changing a database value in your form, do you have any changes in WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE???
what the form is trying to tell you that you have changed something, do you want to save it?
I suggest you debug your form and see what's happening step by step.

Yes, any version of PSE qualifies for upgrade pricing, but if you're in the US you might want to consider running the trial for now and waiting for the black friday specials, when the full version will be a lot less than the adobe upgrade price.

[SOLVED]Login manager in KDE 4.3 does not work!

This is a fresh install (just two days old and installed KDEbase just yesterday), and almost everything is working like a charm the only glitch I have experienced till now is that the login manager module in System Settings is not working as it should be. When I click on its button I know that it should normally ask me for my password but it does not do that and therefore when it opens up all the settings are greyed out and thus unchangable . Is this a bug or am I missing something (Anyone else experienced this!)?
Also, although not related to this topic, can somebody tell me where to find the setting for making windows shift to different workspace while dragging them through the edges of the screen. I'm sure I found this setting under Window Behavior>Window Behavior module in Kubuntu but it is nowhere to be found on the Arch KDE.

As nobody answered this question, I guess I'll just mark this thread as solved as even after a lot of search I'm unable to find the preference and so none of the arch users here know about it as well. I think that feature was kubuntu specific and as Arch ships vanilla KDE I think its useless trying to find it here.

How to manage pages without changing the view?

Hi!
Often, at the stage of creation of the project such as the logo I create many similar pages for each of the mutation idea. Usually, at the end, leaves me a few dozen versions for further work. At this stage I want to make the ordering party and that in the name artboards. To this end choose the larger falling all pages in a single view.
Unfortunately, any change in the name of the page, or even click on a page in a palette Artboards to move it to the list to change the view to fit the page.
As a result, at this stage, a simple arrangement of work varies annoying, constantly changing view of the views of all parties.
1. Is it possible to change the order of pages or their name as a view?

An additional idea. For me it would be useful to put in a palette of icons Artboards icon "Change the view of the view all pages" and "View all objects".

If the only output you have set up on the AppleTV is to the television via HDMI, of course not. The TV will only play video/audio based on the selected input. If you use the optical audio output to a receiver or amp, then yes. This bypasses the TV altogether. I use this when listening to music and control it via the Remote app on an iPad, or Airplay from something like Spotify.

Splitpage - details view not populating

Hi,
Can someone tell me what I am missing here. I am using the splitpage.xaml page for the first time. I have left it pretty much as default. I have populated the Item list successfully but nothing happens when I click on an item. I would
have expected the details of that item to populate the Details view.
I would have expected that the below line in the Details view would have automatically populated the Details view with what is selected in the List view. Or do I still need to do something in the ItemListView_SelectionChanged method?

Hi Ireland75,
I don't think you need some events like Selection_Changed since the data is binding. Once you change the selection in ListView, the content for selected item will be also changed.
I would suggest you to create a split template to see how it works instead of create a single Split Page on your project. You need binding things on to the item detail content, if you create a single split page, there is no test data.
