Hello!
I was wondering if a magic HP angel would like to tell me what drivers I can download for these two Base system devices?
I am working on an HP Probook 4730s running Windows 8.1 Professional. Please let me know if there are any other details I would need to provide. Thank you in advance!

I really need to print something and the old Win8 drivers will not work so I uninstalled everything and am trying it install the new Win 8.1 drivers. I must be insane because I am trying to do the exact same thing expecting different results. What is the deal here? I am tired of seeing this message and I really need my printer 60 minutes ago!!!!!!!
"The system cannot find the file specified"
The printer is recognized on the network and I can open the properties via a web browser using the IP address. When I click the install button on the installation software all I get is the above message.

Satellite A300 Win XP 64bit drivers requested

Hello people,
I am trying to figure out if Toshiba has drivers for win xp 64 bit.There are drivers for xp but there isn't a discrimination like in Vista where you can get 32 or 64 bit drivers from the drop-down list.

Win XP 64bit drivers do not exist on the Toshiba pages
I doubt you will find it on any of Toshiba page you will need to search on 3rd party pages but this will be a hard venture because the Win XP 64bit was not so popular like 32bit OS.
But since the 4GB RAM issue which is related to 32bit OS limitation many people try the Win XP 64bit. But most manufactures dont develop the Win XP 64bit drivers in this time Win 7 is the future and king. You know.

The Windows XP 64bit drivers dont exist and I doubt they will be available in the future. The point is that the XP 64bit is not so popular like Win XP32bit and most 3rd party applications dont work on this OS.
Now the Vista is future or until Windows 7 will be released :D and I think you will get only the Vista 64bit drivers for this unit.
Maybe you can collect some single Win XP 64bit drivers from any 3rd party websites.
This would be your last chance.

Where are win 7 device drivers?

Where are Win 7 device drivers? I updated System Update and tried to download drivers it called for, but when it finished it gave me a "failed to install" message and asked if I wanted to download and install manually. The "install manually" button doesn't work. If I search Download drivers, there are not win 7 drivers listed. If I use the RSS feed, and try to go to the download site, it takes me there but when I get to the license agreement, it won't accept the click and take me any further. Searching by file name gives no results. This happened when I had Vista too. Anyone have any suggestions?

HP Officejet 6500 E709 - works fine. WIN 7 Pro drivers and registry severely messed up.

I was having problem printing (cant recall the exact error at this point) and every attempt to fix got me in more trouble. I ended up trying to uninstall and reinstall the drivers and then the device, but clearly failed to do it properly as now everything to do with the printer gives me an hourglass and need to reboot to end the process.
I know its the PC because I have another WIN 7 on the home network which works just fine.
Even clicking Devices and Printers in Control panel ends in hourglass as described above.
So I ran HP Print and Scan Doctor. It too ends (quickly) with the hourglass. I suspect that to some one who lnows what they are doing the log file will tell the story, so here it is:

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @Swiv ,
I read your post about the issues you are having with your printer on your one Windows 7 system. I have a few suggestions for you to try if you would like. If they do not help, I would then suggest Microsoft Support for better exposure on the issue you're having.
1. Uninstall the printer by running the Microsoft Fix It tool
2. Restart the PC
3. Perform a Clean Boot
4. Restart the PC again
5. Unregistering and re-registering the Microsoft Windows Installer service:
1. Click the Start menu and type " cmd " in the search field and press enter.
2. Type in " msiexec /unregister " and then press enter.
3. Type in " msiexec /regserver " and then press enter.
4. Restart your PC and try the installation.
6. Using System File Checker to Restore System Files
7. Restart the PC
8. Install the printer by running the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows
9. Once installed, go back to the Clean Boot to enable your start up programs again.
10. If this does not work, try posting the issue in the Microsoft Support Community

Can I use WIN 8.1 drivers for WIN 7 ?

I have HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-p147ne
it is coming with windows 8.1
I've installed widows 7 on it, coppied the drivers from win 8.1
now when I installed the drivers on win 7 , it keeps telling me that these drivers may crash the system
I continued the process >> updated the drivers after installation
windows is now working
The question is
Are these drivers (which are extracted from windows 8.1) will affect the hardwares of the PC ??? even if they are not designed for win 7 ?
will there be any problem in the performence ?

If the drivers are working, then you can reasonably expect them to continue working.
If you ever have a problem with the performance or drivers, etc., you can use all of the W7 x64 drivers and software from this model on yours except the BIOS and firmware files).

No Win 8.1 drivers for Satellite L750-129

Hey,
I have a Toshiba Satellite L750-129 PSK30E and due to the need to format the machine and some other conditions I have installed Windows 8.1 on my system.
Also I managed to install a chipset driver, nVidia video driver and some other drivers. But a problem appears when I try to find/install an audio driver. I have a Conexant system and on Windows 7 its drivers worked fine (those found on the Toshiba website). I did not seem to find ANY Windows 8/8.1 drivers for my laptop anyhow (Toshiba doesn't even bother making them?!) but some Win 7 ones still seemed to work except for the audio one.
So, long question short: how can I get my hands on a driver that would support my laptop's needs?

Cannot find Win 8.1 drivers for Satellite C50-A-1DV

Hi.
I re-installed windows 8.1 from a disk I have, but I'm having driver problems, namely finding certain driver support on the Toshiba website.
It seem that my laptop isn't listed, or I can't find it in the support section for drivers.
The drivers I'm looking for namely are the motherboard drivers.
I already tried a driver site but my laptop was taking a good few minutes to power off after shutdown so I doubt those were correct. I'll try intel chipset device software and see if that gives me the correct ones.
Rest of drivers I can get simple enough through device manager, but not the chipset drivers, and probably usb 3.0 too.
On a side note, I noticed I don't need to type in the key, which I wrote down using belarc, I assume it's saved to the BIOS and windows auto detects it correct?

According notebook specification your notebook was delivered with preinstalled Windows 8.1 64bit so what you should do is to reinstall original recovery image that contains all necessary drivers.
When you say you have installed Win 8.1 from the disc, what does it mean exactly?
Have you installed your own OS version or original Win8.1 version from created recovery disc?

There you can find all drivers for your Satellite C50-A-1DV with part number PSCG6E.

Win XP Pro drivers and install order for Qosmio E10

Hello,
I bought recently Qosmio E10 in Korea. The OS is Korean Win XP Home. I would like to change it, so I guess I have two options:
1. Get a restore CD in English. But I read that Toshiba has the strange rule not to give restore CD with different language. I wrote them, they don't answer for now.
2. Install Win XP Pro myself (I have only this license). The issue in this case is to be able to get all the drivers I need. I found good drivers on several locations:
On http://www.toshiba.co.kr, but I worry that these drivers are for Korean XP.
The other place is http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp
In this place, most of the drivers are for Media Center edition. There are drivers for XP Pro, but they are not so many and there is no install order. For example, there is no NVidia driver, while such driver is available for the media center. Maybe I can use Media center drivers on XP Pro?
So my question is: What drivers I have to use and and what order to get a proper working XP Pro. It would be nice to know where to download QosmioUI. I found the Linux player and I will install it, but I want also to have the player in Windows.

As far as I know the software is bundled on notebook and if you buy a notebook you buy automatically OS and license to use it. That means that you can not order a recovery DVD on another language. Qosmio E10 is delivered with Windows MCE2004 SP1a.
The only possibility is to install Microsoft Windows XP OS (full version, with or without MCE), and then you must install all necessary drivers, tools and utilities separately.
For English language you can find them on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com under Support & Downloads.

Looking for Win 7 64bit drivers for CQ58-d61SG

Hello,
I installed a win7 on a CQ58-d61SG that came pre-installed with win8.
The Laptop will now go to a customer of us that wanted us to install win 7 on it.
Now the issue is, that I can't seem to find the correct drivers for win7 since there are only win8 drivers listedon the support page.
Feel free to let me know of any additional information you might need.

Most if not all of the W7 x64 drivers from this model should work on that one. Do not use the BIOS and firmware files.

Win 98 SE drivers

Hello Everyone
Sorry if this is an old problem. I am trying to get the MSI nforce motherboard to work under win98SE. I am tryign to do this for a couple of reasons. I have a couple of old DOS and win 95 games that i still like to play from time to time (i am an old soul!!!). To cut a long story short, i tried to download the Win98 drivers from MSI but when they arrived they refused to install because they said they were for ME only. Does anyone know where i can find the 98 drivers?

I actually found the nvidia drivers under my own stream (about 5 minutes after I made my post) but the assistance is appreciated.
The WinSE drivers are working beautifully. Havent had any problems with the graphics yet but it is still early days... (I am hoping that having a clean, clean install will keep the bed bugs out!!!)

PS This is a true bare bones system. There is nothing added. Even this internet is routed from another PC. (What a waste of 5 PCI slots and AGP). If they integrate the CPU and RAM onto the board.....
