Win 8.1 enterprise skype crashes when i try to use...

hello all,
i have just installed skype from the windows app store and when i try to video(switch camera on) it tries then it locks up the system and have to reboot. i have to uninstall and try again several time and no good tried several new web cams and same tried to manualy install KB2902892 patch fix from microsoft(29 oct) error code not aplicable to my computer.
reading several forums this seems to a new common problem.
CAN ANYONE HELP URGENT MY DADS DOGS HAVING PUPIES AND NEED TO COMUNICATE REGULARY AND I DON`T WHANT TO KEEP SWITCHING TO WIN 7?
seriously though it is anoying and i have had similer problems with a relatives kindle.

If you can have the camera connected without Skype running then run a DirectX diagnostic, that would be helpful.
Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit). Run dxdiag.exe (Start - Run or Win key +R) then press enter or click "OK". Once the diagnostics completes, "Save All information..." to a text file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.
(i.e. compress DxDiag.txt ---> DxDiag.zip)

I suggets you contact the manufacturer. They may have a software update or a workaround.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit version).
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

Most times when I try to use my camera, post a pic on instagram, or add lives on candy crush my phone just crashes. And by crashes I mean it goes to a black screen then to my home screen. Really frustrating! Any suggestions?

Since this all happening when using an app, you can try doing a reset.
Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Firefox crashes when I try to use DataLoad, and I was able to use this program a month ago.

In the recent past I have been able to use a program called DATALOAD (shareware) to load data into Firefox web forms (specifically web based sales tax returns).
However, now every time I try it now Firefox crashes, so I am forced to use IE (which I hate). The last time I used Dataload was in April 2011 (for my quarterly tax returns).
On of the latest updates to Firefox must have a conflict with this program.
Can you please research to see what changed in Firefox to make it crash when using Dataload? I do not want to use IE if I do not have to.

today in the morning everything was ok, this afternoon firefox started crashing when i tried to access Frontierville on Facebook... i installed fresh version of flash player but no help.contacted makers of the game about that...but in the evening when i tried to access add-on manager it also sent firefox crashing...tried reinstalling the firefox but to no avail...

Photoshop CS3 crashes when I try to use text tool

I recently upgraded from Photoshop CS3 after upgrading to Leopard on my Mac. Everything has been fine until today when I tried to use the text tool and it crashed the program. I've since tried using the text tool repeatedly and it consistently crashes. It doesn't crash immediately after I select the text tool, but only a few seconds after. Has anyone else had this problem? I tried searching and couldn't find anything.

FontAgent Pro can be directed to any folder on the computer to load the fonts that are contained there and will then manage them.
That said, I removed just about all of the fonts a long time ago from Macintosh HD/Library / Application Support/ Adobe /Fonts / Reqrd/ Base
except for the few basics which certain Adobe programs must have available (like Myriad).
More recently, Adobe installs its fonts in a different folder: Macintosh HD/Library/Fonts.
If you don't want that lot showing up in Photoshop's font menu, either remove them from that folder or put that folder under FAP's control.
The other fonts that I never use, and which clutter Adobe's font menus, are a bunch of Asian fonts.
They are installed in System/Library/Fonts (which is an area that we are advised never to touch) but I removed the Asian fonts from there and there have been no repercussions so far!

If you are using Win7, you might like to try this
1) Create a shortcut to the the organizer (PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe)
2) Right click on the shortcut and select Run as administrator (even if you are an adminstrator)
3) Try the Photo Mail process again
If it works, then you can close organizer and try again without the Run as administrator

HT201071 EOS Utilities crashes when I try to use it to import camera images.

The camera is a Canon EOS %5D Mark III. Ever since I upgraded to Maverick EOS utilities crashs when i connect the camera. Does this always happen? It was fine before the upgrade.

GarageBand crashes when I try to use .sf2

I dragged a 3rd party .sf2 file into the appropriate library folder. GarageBand can recognize it, but when I try to load, GB crashes. It's a drum kit. I'm running a brand new MacBook Pro (bought in mid-September) with the latest lion OS 10.8.5, and an Intel processor. I'm new to the Mac world an in general am finding everything difficult! (Example: The library folder is hidden, and if you search on "library" you get no results. You have to know to type ~/Library, which is hardly self-evident.)

Unhide your library permanently or drag the library folder to the Finder's sidebar:
To unhide the User Library open the Terminal app (in Applications > Utilities) and type and copy and paste
chflags nohidden ~/Library
into the Terminal.
Sorry, I have no idea why your soundfont is incompatible.

I really didn't see an answer to my issue, looking at the previous Q&A. So, I'll try here. Just starting today, when ever I try and use my printer with firefox, I get a crash report? When I try using the printer in another browser, no problem. I've tried many times today, to use the printer in firefox, to no avail. Again, every time, I get a crash report. Can anyone help? Again, this has never been a problem before with my printer and firefox. Appreciate any help. Thank you.
